How To Get Motivated RIGHT NOW



hey this is Stefan
mass comm in this quick video I'm going
to share with you a simple strategy that
could help you have massive motivation
right now towards achieving any goal any
outcome or any habit or any action that
you might have been procrastinating on
right now now the first step in any of
this is you have to know what it is that
you want you know you have to have that
clear compelling goal you have to have
your outcome it's got to be specific
measurable so know what that is first
and this could be something that you
might be procrastinating on that you
know you should do but you're just not
doing or it could be something you're
already motivated towards and you're
making progress with but you just want
that extra fuel of motivation that can
really just kind of light a fire under
your ass to take massive action towards
it now this is a strategy that I've
learned from the self-help industry it's
really powerful and you know we've all
heard to have goals right we know you
got to have goals I got to be clear
specific so I'm not really going to talk
about that
but what's more important behind the
goal is the reason why you want it
the more reasons that you can have the
more fuel you're gonna have the more
motivation you're gonna have behind that
goal to actually take action and achieve
it and that's really the difference
between two people that might have the
same goal in the same action plan is the
person that actually is motivated to
achieve the goal and gets results and
makes progress is the person that has
more reasons behind it as opposed to the
person that doesn't you know I do a lot
of coaching for people and I coach
people on how to make money online as
one of the things that I do and you know
if I take two clients they have the
pretty similar goals you know they want
to make money online I teach them the
same strategy the same action plan but
the difference between the two people
the person that's more successful as
opposed to the person that isn't is
oftentimes the person that is more
successful they're taking more action
well what gets them to take more action
is they have more reasons behind the
goal they want it more badly than the
other person does and so it's a really
interesting thing you know having the
reasons it's what's gonna get the one
person to you know wake up early and
stay up late they're gonna find a way to
do it they're so committed that they'll
do whatever it takes they'll make
sacrifices in their life because they're
really clear and why they want it you
know that person might have their back
against the wall the reason might be
they just lost their job and they've got
a fine
a way to achieve that goal and so that
could be the reason that's fueling them
to take action towards that whereas the
person that is kind of dabbling they
have the goal they have the strategy but
they're not really committed to it they
just don't have as many reasons or the
reasons aren't strong enough it's
something that they'd like to have
happen or something they want to have
happen whereas the other person is a
must for them they have to make it
happen it's non-negotiable they'll find
a way they're committed to it and it's a
must right so having the reasons in my
opinion is one of the biggest
differences that allows people to
achieve their goals by having more
massive motivation now the exercise is
simple you know what you want and
exercise if you're gonna come up with a
list of at least a hundred reasons why
this is a must for you a hundred reasons
why you have to do whatever it takes to
achieve that goal or to you know take
action towards whatever it is that you
want to take action towards now that
what's important first and foremost is
having a list of as many as possible but
the number of reasons that you have
isn't the most important thing what's
even more important than the number of
reasons is the strength of those reasons
meaning you might have some reasons that
are gonna motivate you more than others
some reasons might have more emotion
associated towards it and so therefore
you're gonna take even more massive
action because it's just it's just more
powerful than having a bunch of long
reasons that might not have that
compelling emotion behind it but the
goal here is to make at least a list of
at least a hundred reasons okay because
out of that list you're gonna find some
reasons that are gonna really pull you
and really motivate you towards
achieving that goal okay so all you got
to do is take out a journal okay
similar to this take out a pen and paper
whatever it is and you're just gonna
write down what your goal is and write
down all the reasons why it's a must
come up with at least 100 and when you
come up with 100 just the act of coming
up with a hundred by the way is really a
test to see how committed you are
because first of all people that are
dabblers aren't even gonna do this
exercise you know they're just gonna
watch passively and they're gonna dabble
they might kind of think about it or
they might take out a pen and
down like five or ten reasons but
basically if that is you if you're
dabbling with this then I can already
tell how committed you really are and
therefore if you're not willing to do
something like this then they're
probably you don't have enough reasons
anyways and you're definitely not going
to achieve your goal this is only for
people that are really committed people
that are committed they'll they'll do
whatever it takes
they'll find the way if they can't find
the made they'll make the way they're
willing to try anything because they're
so committed to their goal and they have
the reasons behind it so the reason why
I say come up with 100 is to first it's
going to push yourself it's going to
push your comfort zone massively because
once you get to a certain amount and
you're gonna see how committed you
really are and your brain is going to
start to take you well your brain is
going to start to come up with reasons
why it can't come up with 100 you know
it's gonna start to come up with excuses
or get distracted or whatever it is and
that's when you have to really push
yourself to get past that to come up the
full hundred because by coming up the
full hundred right when you get past
that threshold when you can't come up
with any more that's when you have the
biggest breakthrough that's when you're
gonna get the biggest reason why
absolutely gonna push you even further
okay so that's all you got to do take
out your pen and paper write down what
you want and then write down at least a
hundred reasons why it's a must for you
okay they could be big or small doesn't
matter you know what some of them we're
gonna be bigger for you than others but
even the small little things can drive
me you know start asking yourself the
question why do I want this goal why do
I want this what am I wanted to do to
achieve this goal why is this a must for
me you know what's the consequence of
not achieving this goal of not taking
massive action was it going to cost me
in my life a year from now five years
from now ten years from now if I don't
achieve this goal or if I don't take
action towards this what's the pleasure
of achieving this goal what's the
benefit how's this gonna enhance my life
how's my life gonna be better a year
from now five years from now ten years
from now those are all great questions
you can ask yourself that can help you
come up with the compelling reasons take
action you know so for example if your
goal is to make money online you know
one reason is so that you can quit your
job you know another reason is so you
can have freedom in your life
another reason is so that you could
travel the world another reason is so
that you could buy a sports car
another reason is so that you can buy
that house or that apartment that
want another reason is so that you can
give and contribute to other people and
make a difference
another reason is so that you can give
to a charity another reason is so that
you can buy nice clothes
another reason is is so that you can you
know go out at night and you know order
anything that you want in a restaurant
without having to think about it another
reason is so you have money to invest
another reason is so that you can you
know give to homeless people or you're
not limited in any way when someone
needs something from you that you don't
have to hesitate you're so abundant that
you can just give selflessly right so
that's like ten reasons right there that
just came up with and what you want to
do is just want to keep going with it
whatever goal that you have you know my
goals for being in great shape and the
fitness competition is much different
than making money online than it is for
a relationship than it is for my family
my friends my social life you know
different areas of my life you want to
make sure that you have those reasons to
drive you to compel you because when you
have that list what's going to happen is
you're going to feel so motivated it's
so juiced that you're gonna be pulled
towards taking action towards it because
you're gonna have a visual
representation and just by going through
this process it's gonna force you to
come up with and think about why you
should achieve this right maybe some of
the reasons are or disempowering reasons
too that can drive you because pain can
drive us more than pleasure so if you
have a goal and you know maybe that one
of the painful reasons is if I don't
make money online I'm not gonna be
able support myself I'm gonna be
struggling my wife's gonna leave me no
woman is ever gonna be attracted to me
because I can never provide for her I
can never add any value to the world I'm
not gonna be able to grow and fulfill my
potential those could all be reasons
that can compel you even further you
know by not making money or achieving
this goal whatever then I'll never be
able to take care of my family you know
I won't be able to if I get sick or
something like that I can't take care of
my health if I need to or I will be
missing out so much and I won't be able
to experience this life fully because I
won't get to travel right so those could
be reasons right there they could be
empowering or disempowering and it can
be painful or pleasurable but the more
reasons the better okay so simple
exercise is going to motivate you it's
going to get you compelled
gonna get you excited about achieving
your goal and the more reasons you have
the better so don't stop at a hundred if
you can think of more do that but come
up with at least a hundred reasons and
if possible commit to it below you know
