How To Start A Gratitude Journal (This Will Change Your Life!)


hey what's going on life masters hope
you have an amazing day so far I've been
a little bit sick the last few days I'm
slowly getting better but wanted to pop
on here and do a quick video for you to
share with you one of my favorite
rituals that I do almost every day of my
life
it's something that's made a huge
difference in my happiness my joy my
attitude my positivity it's something
that I want to share with you that I
believe can do the same for you you
might already know it might already do
it if you don't then hopefully this
video is great inspiration for you and
if you already know about it then maybe
this could be a great reminder for you
to actually do what you know and to put
this into action into your life and I
believe that if you do it can make a
huge impact in your life it can allow
you to feel a lot more happiness and joy
and gratitude and positivity and also
allow you to attract a lot more good in
your life you know most often it's
pretty easy for us to focus on the
negative and get caught up in that our
brain kind of has a default way of being
to focus on what's missing and what's
wrong in our lives and what's not good
enough and I believe that we got to
consciously create a ritual in our lives
to look for the good and find the good
and feel the good and in doing so you
attract a lot more good into your life
as well and really what I'm talking
about here is gratitude an attitude of
gratitude every single day you know
Albert Einstein had a great quote you
said there's two ways to live your life
one way is that nothing is a miracle and
the other way is that everything is a
miracle and I truly believe that guys I
believe that everything is a miracle in
life you are a miracle I am a miracle
the fact that we're here alive on this
planet getting an opportunity to watch a
video like this or to browse the
internet or to have a mobile device a
smartphone or to be able to breathe in
air and drink clean water these are all
miracles that most often we don't pay
attention to most often we take for
granted most often we just kind of
forget about and the more that you can
realize that everything is a miracle and
a gift and you pay attention to it we're
off in your life then the more
miraculous your life can be the more
amazing and incredible and you know
blissful your life can be and so I think
one of the the best ways to do that is
to keep a gratitude journal now I'm a
big fan of gratitude
if you're not already grateful for what
you already have in your life and
there's no point attracting more because
if you attract more into your life
you're also not going to be grateful for
that either and so you've got to really
learn how to be grateful and
appreciative for everything in your life
right now because you truly are abundant
you're much better off than most people
on this planet I can promise you that if
you have access to a phone or a computer
or the internet or clean water or access
to healthy food we truly are blessed but
the way the reason why you don't feel
blessed and you don't feel happy is
they're not focusing on all the good or
just preoccupied focusing on the
negative side of you no side of things
your life and so we've got to be
proactive about training and
conditioning our minds into looking at
the good and focusing on it and feeling
it and you do that every day you create
a habit of that it can transform your
life so I got my journal here in front
of me I'm actually doing this myself
right now I'm gonna make a list of ten
things I'm grateful for and I like to
write it out I like to actually have a
gratitude journal where actually write
it out I take the time to be with it I
take the time to feel it I take the time
to maybe meditate but I don't just
logically think of these things i
emotionally want to feel it as well
because gratitude is an emotion it's not
just a thought it's an emotion you got
to take the time to deeply feel and
appreciate whatever it is that comes up
for you so hey this is what I'm gonna do
I'm gonna make my list it's gonna take
me a few minutes and then I'm gonna
share with you and hopefully you're
inspired to do the same hopefully this
is not just another video you watch and
you click on to the next thing and yeah
you I already know this but are you
doing it so I want to inspire you today
to make a list of things that you're
grateful for whether it's in a journal
or just you know thinking about it you
know thinking about it in your mind but
I do recommend writing it out that's
what I'm going to do right now I'm gonna
share that with you guys okay so give me
a few minutes I'll be back in one second
alright guys I got my list I'm gonna
read it out to you and then I'll flip it
around just so you can see what I wrote
but always read it out to you right now
so I asked myself the question what am i
grateful for in my life
number one is God's unconditional love
for me
number two is I'm grateful to share my
life with Tatiana my soulmate
number three is I'm grateful for my
body's immune system and relentless
effort towards health and balance
because I've been sick the last few days
that's just so incredible that you know
our bodies default is health and it's
constantly working towards that I don't
have to do anything right it's just my
body doing its thing to do everything it
can to fight off infection and trying to
make me well number four I'm grateful
for all of the mentors and role models
that inspire me and generously shared
their gifts with me number five is I'm
grateful to be able to live in a
beautiful home in Panama number six I'm
grateful for the amazing friends that I
get to experience fun things with number
seven I'm grateful for my ability to
travel the world
number eight is I'm grateful for the
innovative geniuses of this world that
create amazing technology that I get to
benefit from such as the internet such
as this phone that I'm recording this on
right now such as YouTube I mean other
people that are geniuses took the risk
invested their money their time their
effort the creativity to create
something that we get a benefit from
most often we're here on YouTube and
you're watching things consuming it you
don't take the time to you know
appreciate the person actually created
this and made all this available for you
for free which is pretty incredible so
I'm grateful for that there's so much
good people have created that we could
benefit from number nine I'm grateful
for access to clean water and number ten
is I'm grateful for the chair that I'm
sitting in right now and you know one
thing that I'll share with you guys is a
tip don't make it big things you can
make it big things too but try to find
the little things in life the little
thing is that most often we forget about
because life is made up of little things
so I thought about the chair I'm sitting
on I mean someone else invented this
chair it's comfortable I get to sit and
enjoy it and you know you pay a bit of
money for it so that you can benefit
from a product that someone else
created that I get to enjoy and another
tip that I have for you guys too is
every day when you do this the key is to
find something new don't just repeat the
same thing as you can if you want but
try to find something new to be grateful
for something you never thought of
before because most often it's very easy
to think of the big things but it's
those little things just realizing hey
this table I get a benefit from all the
beautiful nature that's around me the
buildings that other people created the
government that provides so much in the
country that you might live in or the
freedom that you have all these things
that again we don't take enough time to
appreciate notice but the moment you do
the more we take the blinders off and
you open up your focus and you expand
your vision of what's what what's great
in your life the more rich and amazing
your life feels and the more good that
comes into your life so I just wanted to
share this with you guys today as a gift
something that can maybe inspire you but
again I want you to take action on this
finish watching this video and make a
list take out a journal take open up a
doc on your phone or on your computer
and make a list it takes a few minutes
but through action and doing this you'll
get the benefit and you do this again
and again and again watch how your life
transforms over the next 30 days when
you do this so I want to share that with
you guys I love morning rituals I
believe that how you start the day is
how you end the day and starting your
day with gratitude is one of the most
valuable things you can do in your life
it's a gift to give yourself it's a gift
that you give other people too because
your way of being and how you show up in
your life affects everyone else around
you in your life and so why not show up
with love and happiness and gratitude
and express that gratitude towards other
people as well I think this will make
the world a much better place don't you
