going to talk to you about Kindle
publishing in 2016 now a lot of people
have asked me members of my courses K
money mastery they want to know what do
I expect from publishing in 2016 and
what do I anticipate well if it'll look
purely at the statistics and the numbers
rapidly massively every single year
since its inception it's been growing
more and more people been making the
transition to Kindle formats digital
formats and - in terms of consuming
information reading books Amazon has
been growing massively about 20% a year
that re investing massively into their
business they're not pulling a profit so
Amazon and Kindle is growing rapidly in
fact Amazon uses Kindle as a way to
attract customers into Amazon into their
system and everything and so Amazon
actually loses money on every single
Kindle device that they sell because
they know that the value the long-term
value of a customer that uses Amazon and
buys from Amazon is worth that much more
to them so Amazon is pretty aggressive
and growing and what this means for you
because Kindle is growing rapidly
is it means that it's more of an
opportunity for someone like you as a
publisher to be able to profit from this
be able to publish a book market on
Amazon on Kindle and be able to make
money build a passive income and build
an online business and so the
opportunity I believe has been better
than ever in terms of Amazon Kindle in
fact I live here in Canada you know we
have a bookstore called chapters which
actually just closed down they actually
now transition to indigo but the biggest
chapters bookstore which was right on
Robson Street which is the busiest
street here in Vancouver actually just
closed down and you know Kobo all
Amazon's Kindles competitors have been
dying down as well and so Kindle remains
to be the dominant you know the dominant
force in their industry and that's not
changing anytime soon and they've also
utilized different strategies last year
in 2015 such as Kindle unlimited and you
know they're they're they're change
their model a little bit so that they
can grow even further which is
ultimately good news for us as
publishers because it
the more the Amazon grows the more that
we can benefit from that
now I also anticipate that audio books
are going to be a big opportunity in
2016 as well with audible and iTunes and
that's something that I also teach
inside K money mastery I believe that
Kindle itself has become a little bit
more competitive but your strategy with
publishing has to be a lot better than
your competitors in 2016 if you want to
really prosper you know sometimes people
publish books and right away they start
making money and without any reviews or
much effort whatsoever that does happen
but you can't bank on that you know you
have to put work in to build anything
especially if you want something
something to last I think a lot of
people that just utilize the strategy
just focusing on the short term and
doing the least amount of effort those
people they're not going to last in 2016
you know the short loopholes the short
term strategy is just to make a little
bit of money here and there that's going
to make you some short-term money but
it's not going to make you long term
sustainable money so you have to focus
in 2016 in your business to actually
building a business building a brand
building something bigger you know if
you want to be able to prosper and
compete with the different books on
Amazon but if you're willing to do that
then you can make more than everyone
else build a six-figure plus business I
have a lot of members and people that
have been through my course that are
doing that now because they treated it
as a business and they've actually built
and established a brand and so the the
short-term loopholes you know again
those people that are just utilizing
that are going to make money in the
short term but not over the long term
the long term strategy is you have to
have the mindset of improving your books
improving your product MIT product
making it better and better as time goes
on continuously marketing it creating
systems in your publishing business to
keep driving traffic to your Kindle
books or Amazon product listing because
the more traffic the more visitors and
people that you send to your book to buy
it then the better your book is going to
do but also the better your books going
to rank on Amazon you see Amazon rewards
you and actually ranks your books better
on their website and on their search
engine when you send traffic to their
website when you send traffic to your
book and people buy it and you send it
from Facebook from Google from YouTube
from
em from Pinterest from Twitter from you
know wherever else on the internet when
you send traffic people buy your book
Amazon likes that they rank you better
because you're sending customers to
Amazon you get rewarded for that and so
really recognizing that you can't just
sell just on Kindle and expected you
well but you have to drive outside
traffic to your books and again build
the systems in place and apply marketing
to your you know to your business you'll
prosper you know this is what I'm
teaching people that are going through
my K money mastery course and of course
there is more work involved in doing
that way it's not as just you press a
button and you make money there's work
involved with anything with any business
but by doing it this way you're going to
build a long-term sustainable profitable
business that's going to make money for
years to come you know you want to build
up your books to be quality high quality
books to add value to people and you
know when you do that you don't have to
worry about competition you don't have
to worry you know years down the road
because you know that book will continue
adding value to people and continue
being relevant and continue making you
passive income you want to diversify
your income in 2016 you want to focus on
publishing your book as a paperback book
through create space through audible as
an audiobook maybe even exploring
different platforms as well you know
building a list from your books it's
just even more important than ever you
know making sure that you're building a
relationship with your customers that
are buying your books and building a
list so that you can build that
relationship deeper keep adding value
launch future books that you might be
releasing as well potentially do
affiliate marketing and build build the
long term value of each of your
customers through your publishing
business so the opportunity is now
greater than ever in 2016 and I know
this because in last year 2015 more and
more people were making money through
key money mastery my course more and
more success stories were appearing you
know there's obvious always going to be
changes in the internet world you know
the internet is always adapting changing
Amazon is always adapting and changing
you just have to adapt with it okay you
have to always be one step ahead and
anticipate some of these changes in any
in any business no matter what the
circumstances might be if you always
want to stay ahead and stay prosperous
so as long as you have the right
mentality the right mindset you
going to be successful in it and as long
as you keep working hard as well then
anything is possible so I just say keep
taking action keep you know modify your
strategy if need be for 2016 based on

you work hard within a few months your
life can change you can start making
passive income you have to have that
belief you got to have the right mindset
the psychology the right plan and
strategy like K money mastery keep
learning from mistakes and failures
because that's inevitable in business
and in life and keep adapting and
evolving as long as you do that you'll
be able to you know reach your goals for
2016 and beyond so hopefully you guys
