first thing in the morning that's the
best time to spend it on yourself to
possible state and my morning ritual is
something that allows me to have an
amazing day and it just helps prepare me
for the day and also gives myself a lot
of fulfillment a lot of joy a lot of
happiness a lot of energy and I think
it's really important to put yourself
first you know a lot of people they they
wake up and they're already stressed out
and that's a horrible way to start the
day having that anxiety the stress all
the things you have to do being
unhealthy all that you don't wanna be
reactive in the morning you want to be
proactive and so I really believe in
having a morning ritual and I'm gonna
walk you guys through that that's part
of my day in the life and by the way a
lot of people ask me you know how many
hours do you sleep per night usually
it's between six to eight hours and I
really big on listening to my body
because you know every day is different
and I work out a lot too as you guys
will see and so I want to make sure that
I sleep up to eight hours just so that
my body can recover but usually the Sun
wakes me up as you guys can see it's a
beautiful day right now and I'm not sure
if you guys can see this view but it
doesn't hurt waking up to this amazing
view as well and a big part of my
morning ritual too is just also you know
the moment I wake up to the moment you
know I'm doing all this ritual I always
remind myself to smile just to put a big
smile on my face because I found that
the act of smiling it just reminds
yourself to be grateful to be
appreciative of your entire life and it
doesn't matter where you live externally
what matters is where you live
internally so making sure that you start
off the day happy excited passionate and
that starts with your physiology putting
a big smile on your face and just
appreciating the day because it's so
easy to take everything for granted you
know you could have the most amazing
lifestyle than you know most amazing
apartment or house but if you don't
appreciate it if you're not grateful for
it then you know what's it all for so
reminding myself to be grateful
appreciating every little thing that I
have in my life it's a big part of my
morning ritual
okay drinking water and again you want
to hydrate yourself first in the morning
this will give you a lot of energy I
typically avoid coffee or any type of
caffeine
oh alright one of the first things that
I do after I hydrate myself and I do my
smiling and things like that is I go
outside or I usually go to the gym
downstairs and jump on the treadmill and
so I like to you know engage my body in
some sort of way also get out of my
apartment
especially on a beautiful day like this
and I'm gonna get into some work
although I don't like to think of a work
just yet
I avoid checking my email Facebook all
that sort of stuff my cell phone you
know this this time right now in the
morning is for me it's for putting
myself first you know just like you know
if you're on an airplane they say you
know the airplane is going down you want
to put the oxygen mask on yourself
first and then take care of other people
and I've always viewed my morning ritual
in that same ways I take care of myself
first to make sure that I'm at my best
because when I'm at my best there's more
of me to give to everyone else there's
more of me to give to my work my
business my customers my subscribers and
my relationship my fit my friends my
family so I'm really making sure that
you take that first hour of the day and
you spend it on you and whatever way
that you know makes you feel the best I
find that to be the most powerful thing
as part of my morning ritual
