hey I'm miles bechler and in this video
we're gonna talk about what actions do I
actually need to be taking in order to
achieve the success I desire right so
you're watching this video because you
want to create a better life for
yourself you have a vision or an idea of
offers you more time money location
freedom and independence right cool so
you get that an online business model
can get you there but it's like what
actions do I take what do I need to do
right I don't want to just spin my
wheels I want to take kind of like
actions that are gonna create results I
want what I do to be logical and on the
fastest path possible so how do you know
right what's the trick my trick has been
modeling modeling people who are way
more successful than me been doing this
for a very long time now first I need to
give you a caveat here modeling is not
copying modeling is not plagiarizing
okay
is that clear do I need to be more clear
because you got to understand the first
thing like you have to be authentic you
have to be yourself right if you're
gonna go copy someone else you're
instantly being inauthentic and your
audience is gonna hear that and they're
gonna know that and they're gonna ignore
you and you're not gonna get any
traction what I mean by modeling is look
at the funnels they're using look at the
opt-ins that they're using look at the
headlines that they're using go back
through the history of marketing and
read the books that like scientific or
breakthrough advertising by Claude
Hopkins or Eugene Schwartz excuse me or
how to write a good advertisement
written in the forties you can get on
Kindle for like two three bucks and it's
got all these like old headlines for
like the old 1930s and 1940s and
honestly what worked back then in the
30s and 40s in Direct Mail and in
magazine and newspaper advertising still
works today because human psychology
hasn't changed right so I go back into
the history of great advertising
marketing and I modeled what worked but
I always adapt it and tweak it and make
it 100% unique I let the miles miss flow
through it or the Mellon eNOS
it's something for my wife right it's
got to be uniquely us on the newer
school side of things I go look at the
products that are crushing it in our
marketplace I can look at the leaders
who are absolutely crushing it in the
marketplace and guess what I buy their
products I spend thousands upon
thousands of dollars in training now you
don't have to jump in and go to that
level right I've built my way up to this
level but for example russell brunson

educate you it's gonna help you
understand what he thinks about business
but you're also gonna see his business
model you're gonna see does he have a

should add something like that to one of
your sales pages if you've got a
checkout page and you can put a bump on
it of course you should once you finish
that checkout process you go to his

what is he actually offering download

and literally pull that video take notes
on what he's talking about and what his
offer is notice how long that video is
on the OTO

guess what that dude is genius level
marketer right so modeling what he does
in your funnel is gonna help you achieve
success more quickly

um Mike Dillard is someone I follow
Frank Kern is someone I follow I
literally go into their funnels and I
see exactly what they're selling I see
exactly how they're selling it and I pay
attention to all the little cues and
nuances within their funnel and I pull
out pieces of what they're doing and add
it to my funnel now I've got kind of
some complex funnels right I've been
doing this for a while you might not you
might be building an affiliate funnel
then what I would do if I were you and
building an affiliate funnel I would set
up a new free email account something
that you don't keep it separate from
your normal account so you don't get
bombarded by marketing emails and I
would go find every best-selling author
in your niche I would find their website
I would subscribe to their email list do
they send you to an OTO afterwards if
they do what is the one-time offer they
send you to what's the first follow up
they follow up with you what email
number do they actually send you a
product and a product offer right when
do they actually pitch you something and
in that pitch email is it compelling
does it actually get you like oh man I'd
kind of like to buy that go buy it then
you get to see do they offer you an
upsell afterwards is there an actual
like did was it just that seventeen
dollar ebook they're offering you or is
there another upsell that happens right
afterwards if so pay attention to that
take notes on what they're offering
write product a is ebook on how to lose
weight product B is a video series on
meal prep plans for 30 days right if
you're in the if you're in the the
weight loss niche you can really kind of
extrapolate what's working in that niche
so you can create your version of it and
your version you're gonna create to be
better
you're gonna put more time you're gonna
outwork them you're gonna put more
energy into it you're gonna do more
research you're literally gonna make
sure it is a higher quality product and
that's how you stand out and that's what
modeling is all about right you get the
idea the kind of overall concept but
then you take it to the next level you
really bring whatever makes you uniquely
you in that niche you bring that to the
table and you crush it so another place
right how else could this work there's
the Kindle right go to the bestsellers
kind of reverse engineer what they're
doing on the web and follow that the
second side of it is to go to clickbank
and go to the highest gravity products
on Clickbank specifically the ones in
your niche buy them yes it costs money
I get it you're not gonna build a
business without having expenses it's a
tax deductible expense right is
something you can write off it's
educational and it gives you the option
to see deeper than their sales page
because here's what's going on in all
these online businesses they're not
making all their money on the front end
it's not that front end
it's not that first product they're
offering where they're making their
money that's just where they generate
their first customers it's the follow-up
emails it's the back of the funnel where
they're making all the money and you
have to see what's going on in the back
of their funnel and there's no way to do
that other than to buy their products -
into their funnel to see what's working
for them and then you go create your
version of it that's even better
now I do this a lot in other niches
because in some of our niches were kind
of the Internet leaders right there's
old-school published people they do
books really well they do CDs I mean a
CD player my computer anymore and
they're selling CDs still but like so I
don't always just look at my niche I go
into the internet marketing niche I go
into some of these other niches and I
see what they're doing and I model their
funnels and I bring it back over into
mind this is kind of the funnel hacking
idea right like what are they giving
away what does that first sale how many
upsells do they have do they offer me a
down sell in the process I leave these
open I literally sometimes will grab
their videos and download their videos
so I can have them as reference material
in the future and again I'm not copying
them I'm trying to understand are they
telling a story in this sales video
right is it is it I was here my life is
terrible and then I learned this thing
and like are they telling a story in
their sales video and using story based
selling if so I'm gonna pay attention to
that how to copy their story I'm just
gonna try to figure out what's my story
that can help get people kind of take
people down that hero's journey if you
will from the zero to hero journey that
everybody it just works so well it's in
every Hollywood movie and you know it's
it's kind of the core of all great
stories that's really it ultimately I
just wanted to kind of help you
understand that like what action do you
take you need to go create a funnel that
is as kick-ass or better than your
biggest competitors or than the biggest
people in the industry and then once you
understand how their funnel is
structured you need to figure out how
you can add value to that how you could
take it to the next level so you could
make your funnel even better one hundred
percent uniquely you fully kind of
authentic really bringing it raw with
your own personality your own style your
own
cut your own words your own phrases but
that ultimately is how you can model
your way to success and I can tell you
there's been at least two or three times
my membership program that's absolutely
crushing it right now I modeled how that
worked after someone else's membership
Mike Dillard's membership system he
teaches in the list grow and it is
absolutely crushed it for us another one
is when I first got into funnels in like
2012 2013 really modeling some of the
best funnels modeling Russell Brunson's
funnel modeling Mike Dillard's funnel
modeling these guys has helped me
quickly increase my business increase
the revenue increase what we're doing to
where we could buy more traffic get more
leads get more customers and it creates
this kind of like self-perpetuating
cycle so if you're not sure what the
next strategic move is for you go find
people who are crushing it in your niche
find out exactly what they're doing and
then marinate on that and figure out how
are you going to do something similar
but in your own way and better in your
niche and that will set you off on the
right path the fastest path to success
