Small Steps And Little Tasks Can Lead To Great Things!!!

eight miles here miles Becker comm and
this video is designed to help you get a
little bit of perspective if you ever
feel like you're stuck working on
something small you know a lot of us
have the feeling that we want to put
something big out in the world that we
want to create big change in the world
we're here to do something big
do you feel that way too I know my wife
and I always have but yet the path for
us growing our business online it
required us to work on a lot of small
things that sometimes didn't feel like
we were really pushing out that big
thing so I want to offer you a little
icon something that you can hold in your
mind for a little bit of perspective and
that's this right here you might be like
well miles what is that this is a pine
cone
it's one of the smallest pine cones in
the conifer world and behind me is the
tree that grows from this tiny little
pine cone and this tree behind me
happens to be one of the largest trees
in the world this is a California
coastal redwood up in the Northern
California coast
this particular one behind me is
probably 40 feet in circumference it's
probably about 15 feet and 20 feet in
diameter and if you look up let's see
how the camera deals with this it's over
300 feet tall which is about a hundred
meters tall and I am currently in the
Humboldt National Forest which is a
force of some of the largest trees in
the world but here's the analogy for you
right all of these giant trees literally
some of the tallest trees in the world
right here they all grow from the
smallest pine cone in the world so what
is it right what is it about this little
pine cone that turns into such a large
tree well it's fertile soil right this
pine cone is planted in very very
fertile soil the soil is filled with
litter from all of the ferns and all of
the kind of plant matter that falls from
the tree you notice put in perspective I
just walked through a tree these trees
are so big that when they fall they
don't cut pieces out for the trail they
literally cut tunnels for you to fit
through the trail because the trees are
just that big but it's such a good
analogy right you need the right soil
for your business that's your mindset
you got to keep your mindset fertile and
full of positive thoughts that are
reinforcing then it's
water water is the nourishment and for
our businesses that water is content
that water is the work products we got
to put in the little bit of work product
every day here in Northern California it
rains a lot and when it's not raining is
often misty right we're right next to
the ocean it gets that coastal fog and
there is always water in the air and
these trees can absorb the water from
the air and these trees get the water
from the ground but most importantly and
this is the big one
these trees are thousands of years old
these trees were growing as saplings
before the time of Christ I mean I'm
talking literally to twenty five hundred
year old trees that all grew out of the
smallest little acorn so if you feel
like you're working on the small acorns
know that these are excuse me pine cones
not acorns if you feel like you're
working on these small little things in
your business know that those small
things can grow into massive legs of
traffic or massive conversion upgrades
and it really is a true analogy and
everyone has to go through it and the
most important component is time so you
have to be willing to be patient with
yourself you have to be able to go
through the process and really allow it
all to work itself out because it's over
time with the right nutrients and the
right soil and the right amount of water
that you ultimately can grow a business
that can sustain you so I hope this
analogy has been helpful for you if you
ever have the chance to come out here
into Northern California into the giant
coastal redwood trees I highly recommend
it it is an absolutely beautiful park
beautiful location and if you're ever
feeling like you're working on something
small or you're working on something
below or smaller than what you feel like
you're here on earth to do keep in mind
this little pine cone smallest pine cone
in the world grows biggest trees in the
world
alright I'm miles bechler miles better
calm thank you very much for your time I
look forward to connecting with you fall
in the next video be well
