hey miles Becker here with miles Becker
calm and in this video we're gonna talk
about the three types of income that you
can generate online as an internet
marketer or an affiliate marketer or a
drop shipper or creating your own
products and those three types of income
are active income residual income and
thought of passive income everyone likes
the thought of passive income right but
the hard truth is and I'm gonna do a
whole video on this next there's really
no such thing as passive income for
somebody who's breaking out into
internet marketing
I don't care what the Guru's are selling
you courses on they're using these words
as marketing tactics they're selling you
a dream that's it's not true I hate to
be the bearer of bad news here it's not
true but the good news is the other
types of income are absolutely
sufficient so for passive income if
you're like just charged on passive
income and that's what I'm gonna do know
that there's a path to that but it's not
an immediate process it's not something
anyone on lines generating right now to
the point where the next video I put out
is actually gonna be all about passive
income because we got to dig deeper in
that to debunk that myth because it's
totally a myth so what are we left with
then right well the next one in that
line is residual income and residual
income is fantastic we have a membership
program my wife and I who's my business
partner and co-founder we've got a
membership program we've got a lot of
content out on the web that gets a lot
of Google traffic that generates a lot
of affiliate sales it also generates
sales from our products so residual
income is the kind of income that you
put in a lot of work once and then you
get paid overtime now residual income is
very very possible for you and that's
the truthful goal that I think most
people aspiring to be internet
entrepreneurs or most people who are
online as internet marketers need to
keep that kind of like honesty with
themselves that residual income is
really the goal I've got a buddy who
does a lot of Kindle stuff and he's
generating six figures plus online with
Kindle and people think ebooks are even
passive this dude works so hard he's
always putting out new books because his
books are always in flux and some months
they'll do good some months they won't
and he has to keep he's
treadmill he still has a job his job
just happens to generate residual income
we have a membership site our membership
site generates thirty seven dollars per
month per customer that is residual
income but guess what we deliver new
content to these members every month
what's cool is we did all the marketing
work we get them in we get them going
they keep paying they're paying for our
old content and we're creating new
content and the third type of income is
active income and really I don't think
people give enough credit to active
income
I love active income I'm happy to do my
work in this world I'm happy to put out
these videos I'm happy to do the work
behind the scenes on my wife's platform
that needs to get done so our material
and our products can get their reach and
if you're just getting going or if
you're at level one two or three trying
to get to like a level five six seven
internet marketer it's all active its
action it takes your action you need to
be in doing if you're doing content
marketing you need to be doing your
keyword research you need to be putting
out your content if you're a youtuber
you need me putting out your videos you
need to be researching your topics you
need to be kind of there's always work
to be done right if you're an
information product marketer you need to
create the products then you need to
market the products then you need to
build a funnel you got to get people in
your funnel you got to take care of
those people in your funnel got to email
your list every single day right because
that's what we do is professional
internet marketers so I really think
that active marketing has got a bad rap
and there's a lot of people online
selling these fake dreams of just buy
into what I'm talking about do what I do
and all the sudden you'll have this
internet laptop lifestyle where you'll
just get to hang out on on a hammock and
voila that's it you're done it's all
what's really really
interesting is everyone I know who's
making six figures seven figures or
eight figures a year eight figures
that's like 10 million plus per year
they are hard workers they're digging in
they're adding on new products they're
adding on new channels they're excited
by what they do my wife and I we wake up
every day excited to work on our
businesses you know we did this thing
called the Nomad cruise which was two
weeks on a cruise from South America to
Europe with 200 entrepreneurs I was a
speaker on the cruise and we met and
networked with a bunch of really cool
entrepreneurs on that and the internet
went out for several days on the
vote just literally zero Internet our
business was fine right we have a team
in place our sales numbers were
absolutely fine there were some people
there scrambling so I'm not saying rely
solely on active income the fact that we
built our business in a way that it can
generate kind of passive or residual
income excuse me allowed us to be able
to comfortably take those couple of
weeks but you know what happened when we
hit the shore when we landed we were
ready to get back to work because we
feel like we've got something in this
world we're here to do and we're
passionate about sharing that and
bringing that out to the world and
that's why we work so hard and that's
the action we take and we structure our
funnels and we structure our business to
give us ongoing income for our effort so
we can do the work once and we could get
paid several times down the line this is
the concept really of the lifetime value
of your customers I've got a whole video
on it and I'll be sure to put the link
to that video in the description here
because every customer you have there's
some sort of a lifetime value there and
you need to know what that value is it's
going to be a lot more than the first
sale you make as long as you're
delivering great content and great
products and knowing that lifetime value
is really powerful because then you
could start spending money to acquire
customers through paid ads and that is
how you grow your business and that all
that takes activity and I'm really
putting this out there because hey I
wanted to put a primer out because my
next video is gonna be about the passive
income myth and how that's all bs and I
wanted to let you know that you know my
wife and I everyday we're here in the
trenches with you I'm putting up these
videos every day this is something like
video 106 or 105 in a row in 105 days
I'm putting out the content I'm doing
the work I'm recording the videos I'm
uploading them I'm writing descriptions
I'm doing research on the topics and the
keywords of how to title them and I
invite you to join us
in this process of doing the work right
if you don't know your niche I've got
videos for that if you don't know what
what marketing stack to go on or how to
build your funnels I've got videos for
that don't how to market on facebook
i've got facebook advertising videos so
the information is all in your hands and
the last thing that needs to happen is
you need to take massive consistent
action and that's why i'm so pro active
income because it's through that consist
activity that consistent action daily
steps daily steps keep taking those
actions even if you have a day job even
if you have a commute even if you have
kids at home find some time wake up
earlier before the kids get up stay up
later when everybody else is in bed and
you're done with your commute and it's
finally quiet in your house and you can
do it skip out on the Thursday and
Friday night happy hours when all the
friends are going out in happy hour cuz
they they're not a fan of their life
stay home and knuckle down and bang it
out on the keyboard and write another
blog post create another video create a
new product for your customers really
push yourself because that pushing of
yourself and that activity that you're
taking is really how you kind of get
over the gap from the kind of like
newbie want to preneur into someone
who's generating lifestyle cashflow and
at that point when you have massive
amounts of cash flow coming in you can
invest in things that can create passive
income but it takes a whole lot of money
to generate lifestyle passive income
it's a lot easier to build it with
activity and it's very possible to build
it in a way that you can get ongoing
income that you can get residual income
from the efforts you're putting in right
now in fact I highly recommend taking a

I've put together I reveal exactly how

literally copy that funnel as a
marketing funnel template and implement
it in your business and that is a great
way to build out a system that you put
in the effort once you build it you put
in the effort to market it to acquire
the customer and then you get ongoing
payments for that customer for months
potentially years and that's the truth
here in internet marketing as I said in
the next video I'm gonna kind of dig
deep and it might burn a little bit for
anybody who's gung-ho on some of that
passive income BS that's out there but I
got a call a spade a spade that's what
I'm doing here and there's a lot of
people send in fake truths out there and
now you know it takes action so let's
get to it I'm gonna go ahead and end
