hey miles Becker here and in this video
I'm going to reveal the passive income
lie and why you should be focusing on
creating active income now there's a
bunch of gurus and fake gurus out there
idea of passive income oh just get
started online marketing it's all
passive income make passive income and
you'll never have to work again all
you'll do is you'll be sitting on a
beach in a hammock drinking mai tais or
something and it's all to be
perfectly honest with you the idea of
passive income through anything online
at all and honestly through most types
of income generating systems passive on
passive income is just complete
and what's the problem with this is and
why I'm actually creating this video is
that what it's doing is it's giving
false hopes to a lot of people people
who are new to internet marketing their
expectations are in the completely wrong
place they think oh cool I can just go
sign up for this system I just got to do
two or three things get a couple of
people involved and that's it like
that's my ticket and that is so far from
the truth you know I network often with
multiple six and seven-figure and even
some eight figure earners online and I
can tell you this one thing is the most
common thread throughout it they are all
working they're hustlers all they do is
work man it becomes this passionate
thing this kind of like desire to serve
a greater good and to serve a community
and to serve your customers in in a
greater way and so the Kindle book idea
right so just write a bunch of Kindle
books and that's passive I was just
doing dinner the other night with a guy
who makes multiple six figures a year on
Kindle books and guess what he is set to
launch 30 new books by the end of the
year when we ate that was like the end
of November and he is so active in this
he's not writing every book he's got a
team helping him out but his income is
not creating the kind of lifestyle that
he's able to quote unquote retire from
and speaking of retire have you ever met
anyone who's retired who's totally
fulfilled a lot of people I know who
wait till the end till they hit that
retirement moment and then they go on to
passive income mode they're bored
they're bored out of their mind they
don't have anything to do they're
looking for something to do and it's not
as positive oh this
situation as is built up to be and
really you know another one is like
landlording right get into real estate
investing I've done real estate
investing I flipped more than four
houses I started when I was in the dorms
in college so I I get a bit about real
estate investing absolutely not passive
income Oh get a rental and put put a
tenant in there you are still on the
hook for all kinds of things right like
all the maintenance anything goes wrong
a water heater goes out you get the
phone call your tenants trash the house
guess what you need to go put new
tenants in like your tenants just leave
gotta go get new tenants it is far from
passive and really there's no such thing
online as true honest passive income now
there's a lot of income streams that you
can set up and generate income over time
but man like let's say you have a big
adsense space website I knew a bunch of
people back in the day before the big
Google updates of 2012 13 and 14 who
were making 10 20 grand a month off of
Adsense ad sites and just running
advertising and they thought they were
on the gravy train they thought it was
all passive and everything was perfect
guess what Google changed the rules
their sites fell out of the index and
their income completely stopped and they
went back to ground zero and they
stopped hustling so their finger was no
longer on the pulse of the industry and
they literally they had a bankroll to
work with for sure but they had to start
back at ground zero and a couple of them
spent every dollar they were making as
fast as it was coming in their lifestyle
became a twenty thirty thousand dollar
month lifestyle and they had to afford
those fancy cars they had in their
garage they didn't build up an emergency
fund which we're gonna talk about in the
next video but all in all I just really
want to try to help you get your
expectations set right there's too many
people here online promising these these
bullshit-ass dreams and these like
over-promised under-delivered courses
that are going to teach you how to make
ultimate passive income and it's it's
it's fake they're all publishing their
blog they're putting up their income
reports right you might have seen that
the special super uber guru passive
income guy and his freaking income
reports that he has to actively create
every single month and if he's not
creating him he's gonna manage the
person and hire the person that's doing
it and at some point that dude is doing
a bunch of work the mister money
mustache I don't know if you're familiar
with his ideas all living he's
quote-unquote
I retired at 35 that dude works all the
time he is always publishing those blog
he is incredibly active he's an active
real-estate investor he's an active
landlord which is a total job so they're
gonna be selling you this dream and I
just want you to get your mindset right
because you've got to understand that it
takes work and when you're ready to put
in the work and you dig deep and you get
the knuckles to the grindstone and you
stick with it
you know what you'll create you'll
create active income and let me tell you
from experience it is far better than a
Jo be based income it's far better than
having to commute on a road full of
thousands or millions of people every
day like my commute now is like 22 steps
to the coffee maker after I have my
morning meditation and then I sit down
with a cup of coffee at my computer and
I get to kind of like plan my day I know
I'm creating a video for you every day
so that's one of the things my plan but
what do I want to do what do I want to
contribute to the world what do I want
to work on today and every day I wake up
ready to push my businesses and push my
websites forward and my platform and my
youtube channel forward because I'm
inspired to do so and that's a big trick
so find what inspires you find what's
deep down inside of you that get you
excited and that's gonna keep you
excited every day for a few years and
then dig in and start putting out
content on that because ultimately it
takes a lot of work to get over the hump
you can do it don't be afraid of the
work be ready to work be excited for the
work because by doing the work that no
one else is willing to do and out
working everyone else in your niche
guess what you rise to the top it's
exactly what my wife and I have done
over seven years and we're still doing
it and I'm doing it again on this
platform here and you're seeing it and
just know I've shown up every day this
is video number like 107 or something
like that in a hundred and seven days no
Sundays off I've traveled around the
globe almost twice now still get videos
up on days that I travel twelve thirteen
fifteen I did a 24 hour travel period
still made it a point to get this video
up because I know it's that activity
it's that push push push it's that
constant making it happen that makes it
happen
so don't be fooled by the hype don't get
fooled in by their marketing messages
that are gonna sell you this false dream
roll up your sleeves get ready to put in
the work and do what it takes and stick
with it and that my friend is how you
build a long-term
and I will teach you in a little bit
once we get through this kind of make
money mode how to invest your money in a
way that is totally passive that really
does ultimately I mean it takes a little
bit of time and energy to pick which
ones you're gonna go into but it is an
absolute set it and forget it and that's
where passive income comes in you create
the income you you get your get money
method going with activity with it's an
active income then you take some of your
active income and you put it into
passive systems there is no passive
system you're gonna build dropshipping
absolutely not it takes so much work to
run a dropshipping store and that's okay
do it anyways do it because you love it
do it because you're ready to get out of
the rat race and grind on it and make it
happen because once you get that income
going and you start to see your monthly
income turns into what your old annual
income used to be that's when you're at
this point like okay what do I do with
this money and you want to put it in
secure long term investments that will
have the potential of creating passive
income for you but it starts with active
income and then you get to work on the
passive income gotta have that right in
your head got to be ready to roll up
your sleeves and get those knuckles to
the grindstone because that's how it
works there is no way around it hate to
be the bearer of bad news but I am
excited to be the one right here in the
trenches with you every day working hard
making it happen because I know that's
what you're doing and if you are a
hustler and if you are grinding on it
and you're working every day actively in
your business to grow your business
