hey miles bechler here again and I'm
coming to you from Bangkok Thailand and
the dynamite circle event I've been out
here in Bangkok for about a week now and
there were several meetups before we've
had breakout sessions we've done a
mastermind day and now we're concluding
two days of actual keynotes and kind of
individual sessions with leaders in the
internet marketing industry now I really
wanted to share one of the biggest
things I've got from this conference and
it's probably not what you're expecting
it's not a tactic there's no new shiny
object that is is crushing it in
business that everybody's using that
you're not what it is is the connections
I've made here at the event I met some
incredible people at this event and I
really think that is the power of going
to these kinds of events if you get a
couple of ideas you can implement in
your business that's great but when you
meet people who can become mastermind
partners who can meet with on skype or
who can help advance your business that
really is how you kind of 10x things in
your business you know there's an old
saying and the saying is that your
biggest problem is someone else's
solution so I'm here we do a lot of
publishing for example we've got about
six books that are currently published
and available in a couple of different
language three languages actually and
I've encountered a guy who just we
bumped into each other at a meet up at a
bar actually having a beer after all the
sessions and it turns out that he does
international publishing rights and he
sells the rights for books
internationally and we've been talking a
lot we've been having lunch together and
now I've known him for four or five days
and we've created a rapport very quickly
and we're going to work together to
bring our books out in different
languages in different countries and
he's going to represent us and here's
where it's beautiful you know we're
gonna go forth and this is definitely
going to be kind of a revenue generation
system for our business for my wife and
myself but he's going to also make money
off of this and ultimately we're going
to connect our messages with more people
in the world who want to hear our
messages so really it's a win-win-win
situation I never would have met this
guy if it wasn't for getting on the
plane booking the tickets coming out
engaging in the events and showing up
meeting people in shaking hands and find
out what motivates people and what they
do so if you're going to events yes take
notes pay attention show up on time but
be sure you're finding out what this
social events are in and around that as
well and go to those as well meet the
people shake hands ask lots of questions
make new friends right it will not only
make your timeline on Facebook more
interesting when you connect with them
but you just never know who's gonna who
you're going to meet who might have a
complementary product or service or
could be a JV partner or they may have
the audience that needs your product or
whatever it is or you might be creating
the perfect product that fits their
audience so no matter what it is just
get out to the events that i've done a
video on that the productivity hack but
when you're at the event remember it's
not just about what you're consuming
from the keynotes a lot of it is about
the people you meet in the halls who you
go have lunch with who you meet in the
lobby downstairs in between sessions etc
so I'm going to go back and catch the
last session here before we're done
after a crazy week in Bangkok thank you
