this video we are going to look at the

myth of market saturation now one of the

biggest stumbling points that most

people have when they're trying to get

started on building a business or

building a platform online is that kind

of thought that's in the back of the

head of a will you know people are

already doing this right like there's

already some really established leaders

in the niche I'm thinking about going

into and I've got nothing

is there really a chance I could make it

the answer to that is astoundingly 100%

absolutely yes you can and the reason is

that there's always room at the top now

let's not just use this catchy phrase

and and let it be what it is let's look

at exactly why that is and I can show

you exactly proof with what I'm doing

right now with this channel that you're

watching that this is absolutely true so

so why is there always room at the top

right that's a great question to ask and

ultimately it ties in to what I covered

in the cash flow quadrant video that I

just released if you missed it I'll link

to it in the description below but a

super 20 second brief coverage of it is

that there's four different kind of

stages when building an online business

people go from being an employee and

then online business is kind of a side

thing then you're self-employed then you

turn it into a business and then you

turn into an investor watch the video

it's incredibly informative but here's

what happens when you're entering a

niche everyone who is currently

dominating YouTube or podcasts or Google

or social media at large for your niche

they're all at different kind of varying

stages on where they're at and a one of

the more important things is their

hunger and their fire inside of them to

make it work at all costs is at varying

degrees of intensity so what do I mean

by this let's let's get a little more

granular right so me personally I have

entered here about five months ago with

this channel the make money online and

internet marketing space I don't think I

could have chosen a more crowded or a

more saturated niche

what's happening I'm getting a lot of

traction at this point in time and

there's a couple of reasons why that's

working number one I am full speed ahead

I'm full throttle and I am absolutely

hustling I have published something like

a hundred and thirty-five or 140 videos

in the last six months most of my

competitors are in a different phase of

their business they're not aggressively

publishing content every single day

giving of themselves for free they're

usually focused on nurturing their lists

they might be focused on creating a new

info product to mail to their list

because they've already got 50 or 80 or

a hundred thousand people on their list

so to them a more valuable use of their

time is creating a high ticket product

that they're gonna sell they might be

building a membership program or they

might be nurturing or working on

extending the average lifetime value of

their members in their membership

program all of these things they might

be building a customer service

department because they've been

answering their own tickets every day

all of these different things and all

these different challenges that they

reach at different phases in their

business mean that their time is not

able to be focused on producing new and

valuable content and that if there's one

thing that Google and YouTube and all

the social media networks love its new

and valuable content so here I come out

of nowhere with a channel that has zero

with no list no platform nothing like

literally I come out of nowhere

full speed ahead and it started very

very slowly go back and check some of my

150 120 day reviews where I actually

look at the numbers in the analytics it

started slowly I would be perfectly

honest with you but I stuck with it and

I've kept hustling and what's happened

is I've triggered the algorithms and now

YouTube sees and Google sees ah this

guy's a player and now my blog content

is starting to show up on the first page

of Google that's driving traffic my my

YouTube videos are showing up as

suggested videos for some of these gurus

who I'm kind of going after and it's

also showing up in the youtube search

engine which is the number two search

engine in the world right so that is how

it's working I'm just pure poor in my

heart and soul into these free videos to

give up myself and give value

and boom I'm starting to creep up on

some of these people who are focused on

different phases of their business so

that's enough about me it was just a

case study kind of example how does this

apply to you so if you're thinking about

entering a niche right now you know like

man there's so many people in the niche

first thing you got to keep in mind is

that's a good thing if other people are

making money in the niche that means

there's money in the niche and you need

to make sure you're going to a niche

that's got some money in it right cuz

you're gonna pour that that time and

energy out there you really need to make

sure that there's a way for that to

support you so you can create a

long-term lifestyle business out of that

so that's a that's one of the great

benefits of seeing competition in your

niche number two what you're gonna do is

you're gonna start and your first videos

or your first blog post or your first

podcasts are going to be a little bit

awkward check out my first videos

incredibly awkward I tell you if my

goodness I don't like go do it it's

funny but don't do it yet because we got

to finish this idea you are going to

uncover your unique voice and that is

one thing that you have that no one else

in your niche has and that is you being

authentically 100% truthfully hard on

your sleeve you there is no other miles

Beckler in this world I am uniquely me I

am laying it out on the line in every

video and you have the ability to go do

that for what you love whether it's yoga

green smoothies how to teach a dog new

tricks

I don't care surfing stand-up

paddleboarding snowboarding drift cars I

don't care what it is you get to be a

very very unique voice you get to be a

unique champion for whatever that niche

is and your voice will appear more and

more as you do more videos or blog posts

etc another thing happens is you hit

these points where you're like oh no I'm

out of ideas like what am I going to

talk about now you know the first 7 10

15 posts or videos that we do it's kind

of easy to think of I bet if you wrote

down right now in your niche all the

ideas that you had that you could you

could create some sort of content on

you'd come up with 10 15 of them pretty

cool

please try writing out 50 of them it

gets difficult once you get kind of

beyond that surface level and this is

where you start to go deeper and this is

where you're gonna find that overlap of

your niche and another kind of deeper

niche that has a bit more of your heart

and a bit less competition

my friends Ben and Nicola who now run to

saw dressage riding like fitness for

dressage riders who started in the

generic fitness niche with an online gym

have really encountered this and it took

them years they've built this their

fitness business for years online it's

still very successful and they're still

reaping the rewards and the benefit from

all of that work but what they've

realized is they could blend their love

for horses and dressage riding with

fitness and boom they are literally

exploding on to the scene in this tiny

and what seems like almost irrelevant

sub niche to most of us who don't get

dressage riding they're exploding on the

scene and they're establishing

themselves as the authority in the world

in this space and guess what the

authority in the world doesn't have that

difficult of a time selling their

products and building their platform

when you're the best in your little tiny

sub niche you win and that's what will

happen for you you sometimes have to

just start right like okay I love cars

I'm just gonna start documenting I go to

car shows every weekend or I go to the

drag races or I go to this or that just

start documenting the process talk to

people interview people see where it

goes

allow the paths to unfold for you in

front of you as you're going down the

path don't try to see every step don't

try to understand exactly where you're

gonna fit yourself in and exactly how

you're gonna beat out all the

competition there because that you might

find that you end up in a place where

you're doing something a little bit

different than your competition who you

thought was direct competition at first

and they might not even be direct

competition when you go down the path

last example my wife and I when we

entered the niche with our main website

there is absolutely a lady who is

hashtag winning in our

Mich she's backed by a major publisher

she's put out 30 or 40 books she wrote

her first book when my wife was like 2

years old

this lady is established as the

authority in the niche and there are a

bunch of other people who were less

Authority clogging up page 1 of Google

well guess what happens when you stick

with something for several years and you

put out content when you put out a

hundred to two hundred pieces of great

content a year on a blog and on a

YouTube channel surprise surprise you

establish yourself inside of the niche

and that's exactly what we've done

that's exactly what I'm replicating now

in a more saturated more challenging

niche and that's exactly what you can do

in any niche you want just make sure you

do it a niche you love because it takes

a lot of effort and you got to create a

lot of content and if you don't love it

it's gonna feel like work if it feels

like work other things will capture your

attention so make it a niche you love

and you'll stick with it for the long
