hey miles Becker here and I'm coming to
you from the business class lounge at
the bkk airport here in Bangkok and this
video is about travel hacking it's kind
to help you understand how you can take
what you're already doing and you can
leverage what you're already doing to
generate free flights free round-trip
flights I'm actually about for a
business class flight from Thailand to
Auckland New Zealand and the total cost
out of pocket I believe was somewhere
around $60 and that was for like taxes
and Airport fees so this is kind of the
basic idea of travel hacking and some
people use travel hacking because they
want to generate free flights and that's
all they're interested in personally I
like to use travel hacking as a way to
get business class access it allows me
to sit here on my laptop and work for a
couple of hours in the business class
lounge and I'm also you know on the long
haul over the ocean flights they have
these lay down beds and I arrive
refreshed and ready to get back to work
which is obviously the top priority here
so how does it work
right well throughout your daily life
you're spending money and you can align
with a credit card that's gonna give you
points when you spend money on that
credit card I do this personally with a
personal credit card and I also do this
with my business cards all of my
business expenses my web hosting fees my
clickfunnels fees my email list fees
server v all of it it all runs through a
credit card and I accumulate points and
then when I need to go fly I'm able to
exchange those points for business class
tickets exchanging them for award
flights so I'm about to jump on Thai
Airways which is a partner of United and
I was able to get these points from my
credit card into United and then redeem
the points on United comm for this
flight and it's effectively going to
cost me like I said it's pennies on the
dollar for what the actual flight costs
and the benefits are massive so if
you've got a business going you're not
taking advantage yet of the rewards
points system you really need to jump on
it as a business owner you might even
want to look at a 2% cash back card
that's something I use and I take the
cash back but if you're also just an
individual who's kind of exploring the
idea of
hacking or you're exploring starting a
business or marketing you know go get
yourself the Chase Sapphire Preferred
card it's a great credit card you should
be able to get 40,000 bonus points when
you spend something like three grand in
the first three months which is really
easy and then spend your daily life on
it you know put everything on it put all
your restaurants all your bar tabs all
your fun adventure gas put everything on
this card pay it off at the end of the
month so you pay zero interest and
you'll accumulate points and then when
it's time to take a vacation or when
it's time to go to a conference you're
able to exchange those points for
airfare business class flights you can
exchange it for hotel rooms they even
have adventures in there we've exchanged
them for mud buggies and kawaiii before
just for fun so it's a really great way
to kind of level up your traveling or to
experience more traveling if that's not
something that you feel like you have a
budget for this kind of points wallet
that you create this this accumulation
of points becomes this secondary wallet
that you can use to enjoy things like a
business class flight across the ocean
because I can tell you I'm an 11 hour
flight it's a it's pretty annoying to
sit upright the whole time and to be
able to kick back put it into bed mode
it's literally a six foot to bed I fit
like a glove inside this and have a TV
and the catering and the food is so good
in business class it's well worth it so
again I'm miles Beck there this was just

go ahead and get yourself your first
card it's gonna give you points you want
at least one point per dollar spent
preferably one point per dollar spent on
everything with two points on certain
things and I really I do love the Chase
Sapphire Preferred it's a great card so
if you haven't gotten that card set up
that's a great place to start and get
your little points bank going so you can
fly business class on your next flight
