hey my name is Miles Beckler and in this
video we're gonna cover the two things
that have helped keep me sane motivated
and excited while growing my business
online so the first thing is time in
right now I'm on a hike with my wife and
this is a daily occurrence honestly I
prefer to get two hikes in nature per
day and Stanford even did a study
recently on how even just walking
assists in creative thinking and when I
walk whether it's on a beach on a
mountaintop or here in the desert in
Sedona Arizona when I'm not walking in
nature my mind synthesizes ideas
problems that I had when I'm it was at
my laptop seem to fade away and new
creative ideas and solutions seem to pop
into my mind and generally when I get
back from a nice long walk when I'm
tired and a little bit of food and a big
bottle of water I'm excited I'm
motivated my energy levels are up and
I'm ready to get back to work and that's
what it takes for me to push through and
keep things going
number two is daily meditation now
meditation kind of has a few different
connotations for some people but for me
what meditation is is it's taking time
to just clear my mind now there's two
types of meditation that I generally do
one of them is to simply sit in silence
no special position no special hand
positions
I'm not chanting am not thinking there's
no mantra nothing like that at all
I literally I just sit in silence with
my eyes closed for 30 minutes to one
hour I like to do this in the morning
and it helps me really kind of ease into
my day so I don't quickly get caught up
in my thoughts of I got to do this I got
to do that I'm able to stay patient
unable to stay calm and relaxed and
allow my real kind of inspiration and
motivation to strike me so I feel even
more motivated when I get to work the
other type is it's a guided meditation I
listen to audio meditations that have a
spoken track and an audio track that
assists me in kind of getting out of my
head and getting into my heart I
generally do these middle of the day I'd
say about 2 o'clock 3 o'clock in the
afternoon
when I'm tempted to go get another cup
of coffee to boost my energy I like to
lay down and listen to one of these
guided audio meditations they're
generally fifteen to thirty minutes
headspace is a great app for these and
there's plenty of them available you can
find holosync is one of the first ones I
ever started that's an ISO chronic
meditation and what they do is they help
me kind of release the first half of my
day and again I get up and I'm remote
evaded I'm reenergized and I'm
clear-headed and I'm ready to take on
the second half of my day and these two
tricks hiking in nature everyday and
meditating every day are absolutely have
been absolutely integral to my success
with growing my business online and I
guarantee that if you take these two
processes or habits up you will see a
result in your business you'll be more
clear thinking and you'll find that your
business starts to grow and problems
seem to solve themselves a little bit
