hey miles bechler here and today at one
of the DC bkk pre events I went to a UI
and UX meetup which is user experience
and user interface and it was all about
design and how design can help
conversions and the big takeaway that I
video for is that the most important
part of design is your copy and really
the trick is to dial in your copy and
you don't want to try to get fancy with
the design you don't want to try to get
fancy with the layout at first it's
really super important to make sure that
the copy on the page is clear it's
understandable people know what they're
gonna get people know what they're
getting into and people know what to
expect when you deliver it to them so
I've covered in a previous video that
I'll link to in this description when I
did kind of a teardown or I went through
a bunch of the most successful internet
marketers squeeze pages and when you
look at those you're gonna notice that
there's not that much design going on
there's not that much graphical element
to it it's all about the copy it's all
about the compelling offer of you know
you target market individual have this
specific need and burning desire I've
got a free item or a paid item that's
going to help you fulfill your need
scratch your itch and you know conquer
your fear and get ultimately what you
want
so as you're building your platform as
you're building your funnel just
remember that copy is the most important
piece for you to work on and you don't
need to really focus on the design too
much use some professional templates
whether it's clickfunnels or thrive
use some pre-made templates that are
clean and that allow the copy to speak
for itself
once you've dialed in your copy to a pro
level and you're generating significant
revenue you can move on and work with
designers to make your site beautiful
but ultimately it's about not having an
ugly site but really having copy that
conveys exactly what you want to
communicate and really communicates what
you're gonna give and offer and the
benefit that your target markets gonna
receive I was really kind of wowed to
get that information from a UI UX from a
user experience kind of a
breakout session but it really is the
truth it's all about the copy so go
forth and as you're building your funnel
remember split test your copy work on
your copy let your site be simple and
clean and test that copy until you get
copy that converts for you and it will
pay you dividends over the future so
