it truly amazes me how many people are
actually putting themselves in a hundred
thousand dollars worth of college debt
to pay for an education that probably
won't generate them a hundred thousand
dollars a year for the rest of their
career okay it's pretty insane and it's
not their fault
all right I was a victim of that for
education without knowing what my return
on my investment was going to be okay
especially in universities which aren't
teaching up-to-date methods right
they're not teaching you how to make
money they're not teaching you how to
build passive income or invest in the
stock market right they're not teaching
not teaching you how to build a business
so it's truly amazing that someone would
spend a hundred thousand dollars on
college and then never make a hundred
thousand in a year for the rest of their
career all right and that was that was
gonna be me that was the path that I was
on until I built my first business okay
and I'll tell you what that business was
about but first I want to share a
statistic with you the average American
ok by retirement only has $60,000 saved
okay you cannot live on $60,000 for the
next you know 25 years of your life
after you tire so it's pretty it's
pretty crazy how many people in our
generation are you know gonna be end up
screwed okay and that's why it's so
important to get the right knowledge to
get the right information to be able to
make enough money build passive income
invest in the stock market invest in
real estate right you have to have money
first and you have to be able to make it
but it's so crucial to be able to live a
lifestyle you know that you dreamed of
right I've always dreamed of driving my
dream car right there I you know dreamed
of living in a nice area you know
providing for my family traveling the
world I've traveled you know I've
traveled to so many different places
just in this past year and a half more
than I've ever traveled and the first
business that I built was utilizing
social media
okay the platform we're on right
now YouTube or Facebook or Instagram
okay utilizing these platforms to help
businesses okay look at all these
buildings right here there's about a
hundred buildings probably 200
businesses within those buildings okay
and all those businesses need help
marketing their product or service okay
they these businesses probably were able
to get into buildings like that those
are million-dollar buildings the rents
on those are probably insane but they
were able to get into those buildings by
marketing their product or service
effectively and then selling okay and
just twenty years ago
there the internet really wasn't around
people weren't marketing or advertising
on the Internet okay they're using the
newspaper billboards you know whatever
other types of TV commercials right but
those types of advertising is so
untargeted and it you're not able to get
data on who those you know target
customers are so nowadays what I did was
I invested in myself okay I invested in
multiple courses that taught me social
media marketing and digital advertising
okay that's something I wasn't learning
in universities that's something that is
still not taught in universities okay
and this is something that you can learn
right now how to use Facebook Instagram
and YouTube and snapchat to get more
customers for those businesses right
there
and those businesses will be very happy
to pay you anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000
a month sometimes even more per month
okay I was generating from my social
media marketing business that I started
my first business I was generating
around 9,000 a month okay and that
generated me over six figures a year so
that was my first six figure business
that I built okay and it taught me a lot
of important skills it taught me so many
things that I needed to learn to be able
to sell and market effectively
okay I taught me sales skills I had to
go out and approach businesses and offer
value and try to convince them and show
them the power of Facebook advertising
Instagram advertising okay
and there was many businesses that were
happy to pay me that much a month nine
thousand a month
imagine that okay I wasn't going to be
making I was probably gonna be making
somewhere around three to four thousand
a month out of college for the next five
to seven years until I got a raise or a
promotion or something like that so it's
pretty crazy that I was able to make
nine thousand in the first two months of
building my social media marketing
agency okay and I was able to buy that
dream car right there
I've always dreamed of driving a GTR
when I was younger I remember actually
when I worked at the investment bank
okay which was a two and a half hour
drive there and back there was a Nissan
dealership and I had you know I usually
share this story because it's just crazy
to look back at it now but this was when
I was you know between 21 and 24 years
old I worked at this investment bank
every day that I would drive there and
back two and a half hours there was a
Nissan dealership and there was like
four GTRs in the window and I was like
by the time I'm when I'm 28 I'm gonna
get that car okay and I got this car
when I was 26 all right and when I was
25 I owned a Ferrari for five eight and
I'll probably own multiple other cars
they just you know I want to try them
all out but the reason I was able to do
that is because I'm building so much
income from social media right and I
learned all these skills and I have to
you know kind of go back to this where I
learned the skills was social media
marketing and building an agency that
taught me a lot of hard skills that most
people aren't willing to learn but the
ones who do and are able to go out and
you know approach these businesses all
of these businesses and get them to pay
you know get them to pay you 1,000 to
5,000 a month a recurring retainer every
single month okay
that's when you will actually start to
build a six-figure income okay all you
need to do is get nine businesses to pay
you a thousand a month right or five
businesses to Beit to pay you 2,000 a
month right so it's just a math game but
first you need to learn the skills okay
but don't don't worry about actually you
know learn the skills invest in yourself
by you know by a few courses whatever it

anywhere from one thousand five thousand

he was generating a few thousand a month
which is crazy when I was in high school
