so a common question I get from people
that are just getting into
entrepreneurship or online business is
how many clients should I go approach
today or how many emails should I send
out today are LinkedIn messages or
Instagram DMS and my question to you if
you have this same question is why would
you set a maximum number of clients you
should approach today or a maximum
number of messages you should send out
why would you set that limit on yourself
okay
that's your that's your biological brain
thinking how can I put in the minimum
amount of effort to get the maximum
amount of results okay and that simply
does not work in entrepreneurship when
you're first getting started out okay
because what's alternative what's the
approaching an extra five social media
marketing clients that potentially could
pay you five thousand to ten thousand
dollars right what's the alternative are
you going back to your nine-to-five job
making you know anywhere from ten to
twenty an hour or a part-time job maybe
you're in school working a part-time job
what's the alternative
to you being successful in
entrepreneurship
okay that's a bigger question so you
know I this is just my new office that I
set up today I want to kind of show you
around my new chair finally got this
done right got the new apartment you
know cost of around three thousand
dollars a month you know I paid paid
cash for my car you know got all these
beautiful things right all these things
that I wanted many material things that
you know I I were rewarded myself for
but I remember when I first started out
in entrepreneurship okay I was using the
library the internet at the library to
find as many clients as possible in the
area using Yelp right I was finding
these social media marketing potential
prospects businesses that were paying
for Yelp advertising which is super
untargeted okay and I was finding all
these businesses too
yup okay what I would do is I would
analyze their social media out analyze
their website see where I can add value
and help them improve their business to
get more sales okay and then I would
print out those pages I was literally
circle with in red highlighter like this
is what could be improved this is what
could be improved I would steeple it in
a packet okay and I would have around 10
to 15 packets of kind of uh you know
business audits and then I would go
approach 10 to 15 businesses a day okay
and that was the maximum amount that I
personally could do because I frankly
didn't have any more time you know
businesses closed at you know 8 8 p.m.
so you can't go in any later than that
okay so I literally I get off you know
get off my part-time job or finish up
school or whatever I was doing in the
day and then I would you know grind kind
of in the afternoon and at nighttime
okay so when you are going out in
approaching social media marketing
clients and I'm just gonna stick on this
topic because that's what we're talking
about this week on my channel is social
media marketing because that's the first
business that was able to generate me
six figures in income okay and I was
approaching at minimum ten clients a day
ten potential clients because sometimes
I would go in and the owner wouldn't be
there right and I would talk to the
gatekeeper or whatever and and you know
give them my card and I would just
follow up with them the next day so
maybe five of the businesses that you
walk into only take maybe two to five
minutes because the owner is not there
you don't want to speak to an associate
about social media marketing too much
right you could get them excited about
it but you don't want to dive too deep
into it because they're not the
decision-maker so on minimum I would say
ten clients a day you know what what's
the alternative alternative for you do
you want to work for a corporate job or
do you want to build a business that's
sustainable and could provide a
lifestyle that you want to live right
I've traveled the world multiple times I
went to Russia I went to you know I
to Cabo just the other week from my
honeymoon so I'm not able I wasn't able
to do these nice things because I
frankly I wasn't making enough to do
those kinds of things right my wedding
was like $60,000 and I paid cash for it
I wasn't able to do these things when I
wasn't making that much at a corporate
job so I knew that if I wanted the
things that where were unattainable that
I would have to do the things that most
people wouldn't do like go approach 10
to 15 businesses a day and try to close
them on a deal for social media
marketing right try to help them get new
customers so I've had a lot of
successful students okay and I'm gonna

success what are how much work are you
willing to put in for your success and
you know not set a certain limit to
yourself because there should be no
limits the sky's the limit
you can keep going you can keep pushing
until you know until you just got to go
to bed right you know what it means so
just keep pushing until you pass out
that's what that's what I like to say
because in a business and
entrepreneurship that's the only way to
get momentum building right at first you
have no options that's your only option
success right once you build momentum
you start making some money you start
making some income then you could start
to automate things then you can start to
free up your time and get you know go
travel go do nice things you know make
more YouTube videos whatever it is okay
but you have to be able to gain that
initial momentum which is very very hard
to obtain
and that's why not a lot of people are
successful in you know building a
business online or building a social
media marketing agency cuz they're not
willing to do you know to do whatever it
takes
they're not willing to spend the time it
takes to build a successful business and
get that momentum going so you know
