guys big mark here and today I just
wanted to take a day off completely you
know I have those feelings sometimes and
taking a day off from what I normally do
because it gets so rigid I'm doing the
same thing every single day so but
technically it's not a day off because
I'm making a video right so it's pretty
easy for me or anybody to make a video
you just have to pick up your phone and
you can record a three-second video and
actually post it on YouTube a lot of
people ask me how do you make a video
every day well grab a camera grab your
phone press the little record button and
start recording you know there's really
no rules on YouTube on what you guys
have to do or what you you know don't
have to do or whatever but on this video
I'm gonna take you through and show you
a little bit about my YouTube channels
kind of like behind the scenes on what's
happened in the last eight months I'm
gonna show you some haters I get a lot
of haters and some other guys were
showing they're haters on their channel
so I thought okay I'll show some of mine
if you have a youtube channel you're
gonna feel much better so because you're
not the only one I'm gonna show you some
stats and also how much money that I've
been making off of YouTube so
technically through the Paul YouTube's
policies I'm allowed to show you that so
that's cool and then a little
money-making opportunity at the very end
which is just something very simple I
was going to make a video about it today
but I decided just to include it on this
video so I've been on YouTube for eight
months guys I've started my channel way
back looking over on social blade I
I really didn't use it and it posts
anything on it and so let's go into
where am i where am i all right here we
go let's go over to my channel real
quick all right let's go over to the
videos we're gonna watch one of my first
videos here so let's go to date added
and here's my very first video let's go
ahead and click on that alright so you
can see that my very first video was
March 23rd 2018 I can't believe it has
been that long I don't even remember
starting that far back and just what
this means is that just in a little over
three months from now I would have been
on YouTube for a whole year posting a
video every single day for one year not
missing a single day guys I mean there
might might have been a day where I
posted a video that I had on my
harddrive I don't actually recorded on
that day but I still posted a video but
you know it's really true about what
they say to just go out there and do
something because the time is going to
pass anyway it's just gonna go by anyway
and so and it did and it went by fast so
eight months and just all over three
months from now I would have been on
YouTube for a whole year posting a video
every single day some of you guys are
going back watching my very first video
just checking out your first video much
better than my first video it's all good
it's all good
so yeah socialblade just been going
crazy I got a b-minus that's pretty good
I started with like a D or something
like that we all start in the DS if you
have a D don't worry about it everybody
starts at the D level it's kind of cool
it says you know this user is extremely
popular this user is trending and that's
that's all good stuff there but yeah
lots of good stats lots of changes have
happened on my youtube channel here's
some of my earnings I'm not able to show
you the different click-through rates
and stuff like that because that's
against their policies but I can show
you my income and how it's changed and I
made some changes as well just as of
recently my views and subscriber count
have went down but I'm actually
controlling that so I'm making it do
that no I'll get to get to the reason
why in just a moment but I started
monetizing back in C what is that what
is that august's or something like that
and started right off the bat made 25
bucks 74 dollars and then it just took
off I think my highest day was two
hundred and forty seven dollars if you
guys can zoom in a little bit closer
yeah two hundred forty seven bucks not
too bad
four and then it just kind of you know
it's kinda it's starting to level out a
little bit I'll go ahead and scroll up a
little bit so you can see this yeah
starting to level out and the reason is
is because I I I reduced or I cut back
on those really click Beatty thumbnails
and things like that because I was just
getting lots of spam people were just
coming on to my channel and just posting
gibberish comments and stuff so I really
cut cut back a lot on those thumbnails
and income claims and stuff like that so
I really cut back on that and so the the
views went down but see I don't care
because I want the quality on my channel
to go up and so I'm you know I'm being
in control of all this of what's
happening but normally yeah somewhere
around 130 hundred and forty dollars a
day right now okay I'm totally cool with
that you know and at first I did not
come on to YouTube to make money with
the monetization program and everything
but it's a nice little extra chunk of
change you know you have like you know
3500 4000 4500 dollars hit your bank
account all in one you know once a month
that's about what I've been making
somewhere around that I think in the
last 30 days I think I've earned $4,000
or something like that and estimated
revenue for the last 90 days has been
almost twelve thousand dollars so that's
not bad eleven hundred six hundred
eleven thousand six hundred fifty eight
dollars not too bad have some estimated
or my YouTube premium revenue which is
good for those people that subscribe to
YouTube read under know through my
channel so I get that a reoccurring
income which is really really nice an
extra reoccurring $90 a month and that's
cool all right so let's go in to look at
probably what you guys came for all
right let's check out the haters all
right now I block a lot of bad words on
my channel but I still get them from
time to time and I have lots of spam
okay and just lots of comments are held
for review most of the time that's
because they are there's links and stuff
like that but I used to get a lot of
these I don't really anymore but this is
the kind of stuff that I would see
and/or here's one right here all right
so here's a good one I mean if you just
type in the f-word in my channel or in
the comments section if I do that then
I'm going to get a lot of these type of
comments okay so these guys are very
upset right I don't know what's going on
in their lifes and maybe they woke up on
the wrong side of the bed I don't know
it doesn't really matter but you know I
get a lot of I get a lot of this too so
if you have a YouTube channel and you
get haters bad comments well I get it
too okay I think I saw like it was on
Nathan Lucas on freedom influencer he
posted a hater video and showed some of
the comments that he was getting and I
was like wow I didn't feel so bad
because I got the same comments as he
did and he's a very successful guy on
YouTube and even when it comes to email
because I send out emails and then
people reply to those emails and it's
the same thing right if you type in the
f-word you're gonna have a whole bunch
of you know people whatever what the f
is this let me go ahead and zoom in here
bro f you man if you make $300 a day
then why the F are you on YouTube if
that's
that's the reason I make $300 a day dude
because I'm on YouTube man's like what I
don't understand you effing scam you
only get money from YouTube videos so
stop
you only get money from YouTube videos
so stop making this and start a real
life
can they get money from YouTube videos
but he says why are you on YouTube if
you're making I don't know so we got uh
a lot of good stuff here okay so that's
the haters if you guys want to see that
if you have a channel you guys want to
know like yeah I get the same thing okay
but also what I'm gonna do this is the
program that I use for editing my videos
if you guys ever wanted to see how I do
that I'm using ScreenFlow it because I'm
on the Mac if you're on the PC or a
Windows machine you probably have
Camtasia if you don't have Camtasia then
I would definitely recommend that
program I used to use that when I was on
Windows but really all that all I do
here is I record it and then it just
imports the the audio and video files
into ScreenFlow and then I can just
scrub along the timeline here and you
know just play this back so I have a
little bit of intro music at the very
beginning and then I have a little I
have a little music at the very end here
and then I have these little inserts
that I put for the subscribe button
there you go and I have my little income
opportunity and this is all ready to go
this is all ready to go so I mean it's
already pre-made and I just inserted
over the video and so it just places
that there something that I recommend if
you are doing your YouTube videos is to
make sure that the audio is boosted I
don't normally record it super loud
because then it's going to distort but
what I do is I just select the audio and
then I come over here to where it says
audio on the audio button here and then
I boost my volume 120 percent and then I
click this button right here that says
smooth volume levels and that will bring
your levels up just high enough so it's
not distorting or going over 0 decibels
which technically after that you pretty
much have digital Distortion
I have a little bit of digital
Distortion don't want to get all into
the technical details ok guys alright so
and the effect what I choose is presence
normally this this microphone right here
is kind of it's just it's kind of a like
a very deep kind of basing microphone so
I want to bring out though the clarity
and my voice the higher frequencies then
I will check presence and then make sure
I'll make sure that this has turned all
the way up to 100% and it just brings
out the crispness of my voice because I
gotta have a crisp voice and so and I I
do edits I do jump edits you know it
just depends how much I cringe or if I
make a mistake or if I stumble over a
blah blah blah whatever if I stumble
over my words or if I sneeze or I don't
know if they're big huge truck drives by
I don't know whatever it is yes I will
do edits but I do make mistakes I make
mistakes everybody makes mistakes and if
you don't make mistakes then you're not
really human right so but this is what
it looks like again at the very end I
show my little opportunity here and then
I have a little outro and then I have
this yeah my little outro video here
and then I just make my next one yeah
little basically it's just a little
Photoshop transparent graphics over this
video background and it kind of looks
kind of cool just has my logo there and
everything but it's really simple guys
it's really straightforward you light up
you guys wondering like how do you make
a video every day and I would say it
probably would take me I think the
fastest video ever did manned up might
have been about an hour and between you
know the research looking around trying
to figure out what I'm going to make a
video about and then gathering that
information writing the different points
and what I want to talk about you know
making sure that I have all the
information that you guys want far as
like how much money can you make Alma
you know how fast do they pay out what
exactly are you doing what's the
approval process what are the
requirements of whatever opportunity or
website it is and so I gather all that
information up and then sometimes it
could take me between recording the
video editing the video rendering the
video and then I do the thumbnail and
then I put anything in the description
box if if that's required if that's
needed I will do that and that probably
takes in total I would say probably
three hours from the very start to
finish now sometimes I take breaks I'll
go like eat lunch and then I'll come
back and then so that but if I do that
way then it's usually it can be as long
as four hours sometimes I have technical
problems sometimes I make videos and I I
am it didn't really go as smooth as I
thought like okay I'll be honest with
you this video right here top ten tips
for forgetting 1000 subscribers this
video didn't really go as smooth as I
thought it would and it happens so you
think you're just gonna be able to just
bang it out like in five minutes and
then it ends up being like this all-day
thing that can happen it happens to me
all the time we're like wow like I
thought I could get these points out
there
the biggest struggle that I have is it's
not really hitting the record button
being on the camera because I've been
doing that right it's really just making
sure my information is coming across to
my viewers in the clearest way possible
so you guys are not lost in the last
thing that I want to do is confuse
people I don't want to confuse you on
what's going on so so watching some of
my videos back I'm I don't know if I can
do anything about it but I'm a huge
perfectionist okay and it really makes
you feel better though when you make a
video you work on it all day and then
everybody just says you know and you're
you're cringing you're uploading the
video and you're just like oh my god
what's it gonna happen and then
everybody replies and says oh my gosh
it's the best video ever and you're like
oh good okay that's cool that's awesome
so and it makes me feel a little bit
better but I yeah so I love it I like it
when that happens and and usually that
does happen but not trying to toot my
horn here anything but I go through
struggles too and it seems like even
though I've been doing YouTube or doing
videos every single day for for you know
eight months I still I still sometimes
feel like I'm new
like if I'm still a newbie like I feel
like it's my first day sometimes I get
all nervous and jumpy it really depends
how much coffee I've had how much sleep
I've had you know the night before how
I'm feeling generally I'm I health is a
huge thing for me okay
it really is I'm 46 years old and I know
I've got you know I know people my age
that are retiring and I'm like what are
you kidding you can't retire you know
we're just so young and and I felt like
after 40 was like that's when life begun
for me you know that was when I got
started because from 30 to 40 just
sucked I mean if you guys know my story
I mean my house went into foreclosure we
lost everything I had to move back in
with my parents
oh man it was just crazy I lost my dream
car and I owed a quarter of a million
dollars
and I was a quarter of a million dollars
in debt so if you worked at McDonald's
you were like $250,000 richer than I was
okay it was a hard time so and I don't
know where I'm going with that but I'm
just saying that it's still hard like
every day I'll come on and you know make
a video and you have your you still have
mental issues you still have everything
that you had when you started your
YouTube channel okay you're a little bit
more confident I still sweat I still
sweat and it's not even hot well actual
it's a little bit hot here but I still
sweat because I get nervous on my videos
so if it makes you guys feel any better
it happens to me I mean I'm I just keep
on going but you guys just keep on
watching and that's probably why I do
what I do okay
and if YouTube for some reason one day
they decide that they don't want my
channel anymore
they don't want my videos because it's
crossed my mind a few times then that's
fine because I'm probably just gonna
start another channel and just keep on
going cuz that's just how I am you know
and I was talking about that with my
wife today you just never know you can't
put all your eggs in one basket because
you don't know what's gonna happen right
so there's a little wrap-up for you guys
there's some statistics so yeah so so
far almost 12,000 bucks I've made off of
YouTube revenue and then my first video
which actually is not like hideous I've
done other videos in my career I've made
videos before so it's not like I've
never been on camera but that doesn't
mean that you guys should still not you
know go on camera if you haven't done
that yet give it a try I have so many
videos about creating you know YouTube
and make getting more views and
subscribers just go to the playlist
section on my channel and look for the
YouTube tips playlist and I have a whole
bunch of videos on that but yeah so I
got haters too guys I really do I don't
have like a whole bunch
more but you know things have slowed
down a little bit you have filters in
your community tab you can put different
bad words in there and then it'll just
send them to the review tab just like it
does right here because most of those
don't really show publicly and a lot of
the I mean if I just opened everything
up I would have tons of different
comments people posting links and spam
and but I don't want to get in all that
so the website I was gonna show you guys
about making a little bit of extra cash
on the side was this bug finders website
which is a website that I almost made a
video about today but I didn't I decided
to just make this video but bug finders
is a it's a testing it's an app and
website testing type service where if
you have an app or if you have a website
you want to be tested or you can just go
there and hire them and pay money and
then they will go out and get testers to
go to your apps and websites to test
okay so I talked about you know testing
websites and apps on my website I'm so
what you what you would do is is come up
here at the very top and click right
here where it says become a tester and
then that's going to take you over here
where it says you know it's the join bug
finders comm section and I'll leave a
link below for this here's a little
dashboard here they have a little
screenshot here in the background you
can see what it looks like tells you you
know how many tests you've done and you
know how much money you make and all
this but what you do is you create an
account it's free you can add your
hardware or software whatever you're
using and then you can receive a project
alert by email whenever a test becomes
available for you and then you can just
use your skills to find different bugs
and defects for a different software and
then the bugs are reviewed for accuracy
and then after that you guys get paid by
PayPal it's a no brainer right don't
have to see anybody don't have to go
anywhere it's really straightforward so
