hey miles here miles Becker calm in this
video you're gonna get to see inside of
my membership program which is really
like a group coaching or a group
mentorship program that I've been
running now the goal of this video is
twofold number one I want you to
understand my tech stack and my
marketing stack that I'm using to
actually deliver and sell my membership
program so if you're interested in
building a membership program at some
point which I highly recommend
I love recurring income and I think you
should integrate that into your business
as well
this will give you an idea of the tools
and of the pieces I've use to create my
own personal membership program number
two if you've been interested in joining

of what's inside you're gonna get to
take a look around inside to see exactly
how it works if you're watching after
the doors closed no worries you can just

the doors do open but I keep it closed
regularly because I'm really working
with this group of people to help them
achieve their goals and we got to stay
focused together with that said let's
jump right in
now the first place I want to show you
is content and conversion calm this is
the domain name I'll have a pop up in
the top corner of this video if you want
to check it out this is obviously my
sales letter now this is built on
WordPress with thrive themes
specifically using their architect
plugin and I've made a very very simple
and clean sales letter I actually used a
specific sales letter training that I'll
link to in the description is a
copywriting training to kind of really
help me get some templates to get these
ideas together and you know it's just a
general basic simple sales letter that
talks about the problem the solution
here's exactly what you get it talks
about the two custom software's that
I've created that I'll show you a little
bit of it talks about the different
eight or nine different trainings
they've got plus all the monthly this
that the other
and then when a user clicks to get
started today button as long as it is
open and you can see currently there's
about as of this recording there's about
three days left three days and eight
hours left before the doors closed this
runs on thrive cart now I love thrive
cart for membership programs I don't use
thrive cart on my big website that
sells all of my one-off products I use
Sam cart for that but on both of my
membership programs my wife's and mine
we use thrive cart as the cart it's
simple it works really really well and
it integrates with active campaign
that's the autoresponder that actually
runs the kind of tagging and it unlocks
the bits and pieces for the people so
that's it this is this is the front end
right so far we've got thrive themes
we've got the architect plug-in from
thrive themes running my sales letter
and I've got thrive cart when someone
purchases they go in through active
campaign and then it takes them inside
of the membership program which is what
you're looking at here now the
deliverable runs on Zen for Oh forums
that's x.e nfor oh and there's a bit of
custom code that gets active campaign
communicating with Zen forum and what I
mean by this is when someone purchases
in thrive cart then thrive cart notifies
active campaign that they bought active
campaign runs an automation and sets
them up with an account and a password
inside of Zen for inside of Zen for oh
and it forwards that information on to
Zen for oh I had Dave Wooding with
integrate procom build that out for me
it's his custom code that gets that all
to work together I highly recommend Dave
if you're building a membership program
if you need help with a membership
program or any advanced integrations
with iran Infusionsoft or activecampaign
or any of those marketing automations I
just can't say enough great things about
Dave Wooding and his help he's helped
Melanie and I an absolute ton that's
really all of it that's the tech stack I
do a lot of video trainings you can see
what we're looking at right here are
actually video trainings on top so all
of my video trainings are run on Vimeo
Pro it's a pro level of Vimeo that
allows me to upload the videos I can
control the player a lot more than I
could with a YouTube video and he
eliminates the possibility of that video
getting shared like an unlisted YouTube
video would so you can see in my traffic
domination course right here I've got
what five different components and if we
click on one of the core components you
can see it loads up at took me to the
most recent thread because it's
intelligent like that but I want to show
you real quick on
how the video player embeds right into
the forums here and here you can see
it's got the video embedded right in top
this one was an hour video I think this
whole training was something like five
five hours on everything I know about
organic traffic here and then I've got
the other parts in access to the audio
and then I send out the PDFs and then we
can have discussions about it below
people can ask their questions about the
training specifically this is why I went
with a forum structure now I'm gonna go
back real quick to the training so these
are all of the different trainings and
they each have their own forum then when
we go inside of the forum you'll notice
that each training has its own thread
but then what's really cool is the
individuals can actually converse or ask
questions about how the training applies
to them in their own personal thread now
for me as an administrator and as kind
of the the coach within the program it
allows me to keep hundreds of individual
conversations going to where my my
students are able to come back and ask
questions we can keep that conversation
threaded it's 100 percent threaded to
them other members can jump in and help
out where applicable but if they want to
jump in and ask me another question to
follow up on that our conversation is
super neat and tidy now you don't get
anything like this inside of a Facebook
group right anybody who's selling a
Facebook group as beneficial coaching I
think it's just a complete joke because
the user interface is not designed to
help you help your students or if you're
the student it's horrible user
experience to try to get information so
you can see right up top we've got all
of the different trainings so I've got
my fast-track to internet income the
level up which is my goal achievement
program which is actually working
wonders for so many people in here how
to find your lucrative niche I think
this was this was multiple parts right
yeah this is a three part and you can
see other people are able to ask about
choosing their niche and/or when we go
into it this one has 41 separate replies
so here is the original video itself
it's gonna load right in the middle and
then we've got all of the different
replies and the questions about how does
this apply to me because that's one of
the things I've realized through all
these YouTube videos is there's a large
segment of my audience who they love my
content on YouTube but they want to know
how to apply it specifically to them I
try to answer the comments here in
YouTube but but we just can't get good
long-term conversations going and
there's a lot of noise on YouTube so all
the trainings are up top and I've got
some community conversations the
watercooler is where we could talk about
off-topic things place for people to
celebrate their victories one guy
actually just recently made it to the
point where his side gig is making more
than his actual desk job his day job
he's gonna run both of them for a period
of time before quitting to really just
kind of get that emergency account but
that's where you go celebrate those
types of victories is in there a burning
questions sometimes people like I don't
even know where to put this question
I've made a spot just for that and then
the masterminds section now this is
really cool because we have members who
are getting together in small groups
themselves to help each other as
accountability partners and really as a
mastermind this comes out of napoleon
hill's big idea from his 1925 book Think
and Grow Rich and boy we have a
mastermind up in French Canada that is
absolutely crushing it they're they're
loving what they've got going on and
here one of the members actually just
took the time to write how they started
it what they do their entire process and
they're all doing wonderfully and you
can see we've got people in the UK we've
got people all over Central Florida
Canada Wisconsin then we have specifics
about the different niches right so
people in different niches the bloggers
and vloggers are getting together the
health and beauty websites are getting
together so the masterminds are popping
up based on a lot of different things
going down below I've broken it up to
where we can talk about the different
marketing channels separately so all of
the blogging conversation goes under the
blogging one right this is all the SEO
but you can see this is where I've
actually built a custom piece of
software this is an idea generation tool
that's gonna help help you it's
essentially gonna seed you with out of
the box ideas based on what's working
extremely well for your competitors
because everybody gets to that point
sometime they're like I did in a 90 day
challenge I don't know of any new ideas
to write about this software tool you
plug in one of your best keywords and
boom it comes up with dozens if not
hundreds of new out-of-the-box ideas you
probably haven't thought about and then
obviously there's all of the different
conversations about
logging then I made a YouTube software
as well I wanted to make sure that that
my my students are able to optimize
their videos as well as I'm optimizing
my videos on this channel so I created
this software program and inside of it I
even have a 30-minute training that not
only shows how I specifically use that
tool but exactly how I publish my
YouTube videos because I'm just racking
up page one ranking after page one
ranking and now there's actually a
software application that Dave Wooding
and I put together and we built and it
runs right here and you enter your
keyword and it works the magic to help
you understand exactly how to optimize
your title and everything on your video
to make sure you are going to hit page
one we're getting so many members
hitting the top of YouTube with that
there I'm loving it
conversations about podcasting other
conversations paid advertising social
media marketing email marketing local
marketing questions are in there then we
have the conversion side of things
leads crafting offers sales and
copywriting building out your funnels
and course creation and then there's the
the kind of business behind the business
growing your team strategy mindset books
the 90-day challenges everyone who's
running a ninety eight challenge has the
ability to keep their own ninety eight
challenge thread up so they're keeping a
lot of leverage on themselves by making
it semi public and then the
accountability area and then I've got
some admin stuff below there um one
other thing I want to show you is in
like the local marketing and agencies we
have a large group of individuals who
are actually building out agencies based
on my marketing arbitrage teachings here
and I actually just created a full
course on how to create a digital
marketing agency that goes into the
exact products they can resell who to
talk to I gave them a specific content
at this one reseller community and a
bunch of free tools on how they can run
free audits for different locations and
different people in their local
businesses in their local area so they
can show these audit reports and I
literally broke it down it's nineteen
thousand words and like 65 pages or 70
pages or something crazy like that
so I popped that in there not to mention
all of the schema like how to do schema
how to do the Google my business on the
meetup tricks of citations etc etc and
that's really it so it lives in a forum
and the big reason why I wanted this to
live in a forum was because I believe
that number one community involvement
and community input is actually a huge
piece of the puzzle for my people you
know we're all kind of keyboard warriors
we're generally working late nights
early mornings on our own locked in the
office just grinding it out banging away
on the keyboard and this gives all of my
members you know hundreds of them the
ability to connect with others who are
just like them because when it's just us
in our normal lives we kind of feel like
the outcast so there's the community
side that's growing within this program
and within this kind of platform because
you can follow other members the
masterminds are coming up and then
there's also just the ability to talk
about similar challenges and when you
see other people having challenges just
like you and they search for facebook
advertising they can find all these
different great conversations that are
already out there about Facebook
advertising hey they don't feel alone
and B they can learn from other people's
challenges questions mistakes and
learnings etc I didn't even show you the
different reviews let's go back on the
reviews real quick because one of the
things I do every month is a live video
review and I want to show you where
those live and how those work because
we've done something like ten fun
reviews so down here I have a category
and again each one lives in its own
thread so we have every other week we've
been doing these these livestream funnel
reviews and I do broadcast these live
with an unlisted YouTube that's how I
use YouTube live as the actual kind of
broadcast mechanism but then I download
it off and they're about two hours each
and then I put it inside of Vimeo again
so it can't get shared out and this is
where we go through people sales pages
people's opt-in pages etc etc and that's
it so my forum my deliverables if you're
running a membership program yourself
are number one I've got the trainings
that I put out I'm generally putting out
one maybe two trainings per month and
then I do the funnel reviews I'm doing
at least one funnel live funnel review
per month and then I'm just in here
inside of the forum's every single day
generally seven days a week but at least
five days a week pretty much seven days
a week just answering questions right
helping people move forward because you
know I've been at this game of internet
marketing I made my first money online
in 2003 so all the challenges that that
a lot of my students find to be like
overwhelming are they
that dealt with so I'm able to look at
their situation maybe ask a follow-up
refining question or two and really give
them a very clear concise this is what
you do next this is where you need to
focus next and for me and growing my
membership doing this on a forum was the
absolute best way to host this all it
can embed my videos it could all live
right here if you keep our conversations
going forward so I can keep working with
that one student on there one whether
it's an opt-in page conversion situation
whether it's working with them in their
Facebook advertising trying to get the
right data points to help them optimize
their Facebook ad campaigns we can keep
that conversation going I can look back
at all of their past questions and all
their past data and their screenshots
but other students can actually go learn
from our conversations as well
this is so powerful for new internet
marketers because new internet marketers
can be a proverbial fly on the wall with
me and some of the students who are
doing five grand 10 grand 20 grand 30
grand or more per month they'll learn so
much more in this kind of a nurturing
environment if you will and I just think
it's really powerful for my individuals
for my students to have access to me
personally I wanted to facilitate that
beyond the the comments in the YouTube
section so that's what I came up with if
you're interested content in conversion
comm I'd love to have you but if you're
just building out your own membership
program I still think that a paid
private forum is an absolute brilliant
way to grow community I do not think
that Facebook groups are a really good
idea for most businesses to run actual
membership programs if it's a little
add-on right that the bulk of your
product is something else and you just
give them group access as the other
thing I think it can work but if you're
building a standalone paid membership I
would not go all-in on Facebook by any
means I don't even offer a Facebook
group I think it's a complete
distraction and a waste of time so the
other thing about owning a forum I
control the fact that there's no
advertising there's no distractions I
can keep people focused the goal is for
people to get in ask their questions or
watch their trainings and then go get
back to work because that's what
everybody needs to do is that work
product every day so I don't want to
bring them into facebook where that's
this huge distraction mechanism may they
log in to ask a question and then they
just get lost for an hour the
opportunity to cost the opportunity
cost of that is just too high if you've
