hey it's Doug Huntington here from niche
site project and this is another one of
those behind-the-scenes videos so I'm
just showing you how I keep notes how I
actually the winter update post so I
published this a few weeks back and you
can see I'm just going through a couple
areas that I want to talk about and you
know I point this out because you know
in the past I would actually work
directly in WordPress and write my post
I would create the outline in just the
section so I would sort of you know this
is all beer related stuff here and then
it's more personal items and the niche
site related and I talked about things
here problem with working on the machine
of my laptop right there it is that
there's tons of distractions right so
there are so many little notifications
going off that I would get distracted
and next thing you know I would have my
email open and I'm trying to answer
emails when really I should be working
on the blog post so what I've done is
moved back to paper and pen I have like
a few of these there pilot may be hard
to see get the lighting right here it's
a pilot g2 and I just bought like a pack
of them I think I have a blue one around
here somewhere too so it's fun to have
the colors here I just use black like
all together but you know I'm just
keeping notes and writing you know what
I want to cover so here of course is um
you know just be related stuff a couple
personal things I can't remember if I
kept all these in but as I'm writing it
you know I know I'm gonna put a few
sentences at each one and it's really
just an outline and you know all of
these things up here our personal and I
sort of divided up that way
and then down here it was on niche site
related and I'm able to you know I wrote
other posts related to say the Hamazon
Commission changed so I could sort of
summarize what's in that post and link
back to the other one and I don't even
know tit here because I just know the
data in that case the earnings took a
hit by your 35 percent or something like
that and as we're going through I do
note you know some sub bullets I did
want to put earnings in traffic give an
update about the 500k niche site case
study and go from there and then in this
particular update I knew that I was
doing more stuff about doing more stuff
with niche site project so I went ahead
and noted that that stuff here that I
definitely wanted to cover because
people find that interesting kind of
like this behind-the-scenes video so
that's sort of the workflow for this
particular update in I'm shooting it
because people said that they weren't
interested in seeing the exact workflow
and this is like really Rob kinda seems
so I'll do a couple more of these I
think you know the novelty will wear off
