Month 15 Content Marketing Challenge Update - YouTube Analytics, Blog Analytics And Q&A



hey there miles here miles Becker comm
and in this video you're going to see
the results of my content marketing
challenge I've completed a little more
than 15 months of content marketing
mainly focused on YouTube videos and
we're gonna go through the analytics in
my youtube channel we're gonna go
through the analytics of my blog because
I've got a system in place to take my
video content and turn it into blog
content I'm gonna cover all of the
numbers and since I'm doing this one
live I'll stick around to answer a few
of your questions if you have them to do
a little question-and-answer about
content marketing I'm excited to join
with you here real quick if you're on
the live stream I want to jump over and

new walls painted got my stand-up desk
set up here got a bunch of new equipment
got some really cool things coming down
the channel but um still on my old
headset for right now but not for long
my live streams should be getting a
little improvement so I'm gonna jump
over and just take a quick look so bear
with me just for one minute we'll jump
into the numbers and everything here
momentarily looks like everything's
going on cool we got New Zealand New
Mexico people all over everybody can see
me and hear me perfect what I'm gonna do
one more second I've got this pre queued

Saturday Saturday evening and the next
thing I need to do over here is I'm
gonna go ahead and share my screen
you're not gonna be able to see me in
the corner since I'm doing it live I
don't have that fancy technology here
but what we're gonna do now is we're
gonna I'm gonna share my screen I'm
gonna go inside of YouTube and we're
gonna look at the actual YouTube
analytics what's been going on from my
content marketing and then we're gonna
go over and look at my blog analytics
I'll explain just a brief bit about how
I'm getting that YouTube content over to
my blog ooh one place I gotta open this
up my podcast I have a podcast now so I
want to look at the podcast so I'm
opening this in another window you
usually like to have this stuff prepared
but luckily it's auto saved so there it
is and I got my windows all in the right
place so let's do a screen share shall
we jump in and look at numbers I'll
answer questions after this if you're in
the 90 day challenge group you can
answer in the thread that or you can ask
your question in the thread that I
linked to this from you're gonna get
priority if you're in that group so I'll
go there for questions first before the
questions here in YouTube if anybody
tries some weird stuff in the YouTube

as quick as we can all right that's
enough dilly-dallying let's share the
screen and here we are so you now have
my screen that you can see and what
we're gonna do is I gotta just jump in
and make sure this is working it looks
like it is cool so you guys got my
screen share here you're looking Wow I'm
Doris Portugal Turkey this is absolutely
amazing Washington got got some
amazingness going on and you are sharing
your screen perfect all right we're good
so the first thing we're gonna look at
here is on my youtube channel 38,000 245
subscribers with just under 1.5 million
views again that's 15 months if you do
the simple math on the views what would
that be a hundred thousand views of
on average and obviously when we started
when I started it was much lower than
that but we're gonna jump in deeper
important to know you know I was
traveling I was in Bali I had four
separate engagements in Bali speaking
engagements and whatnot
so my videos were not coming out with as
much knowledge bombs as normal but that
happens and that this is the process
right so we're looking in and it
defaults with the last 28 days and a lot
of times people were like well what do I
look at inside of my numbers YouTube
gives us the numbers it wants us to
focus on right so the watch time is one
place I look at this is the first time
I've really seen it down below a million
views minutes view them a month and you
can see that it's down about nine point
nine one percent right now the average
view duration is very important also
down five point six and the number of
views is down about five percent four
and a half percent so this again this is
kind of because a lot of my videos had
some fluff over the last few months over
the last month because they were just
they were kind of done quickly because I
was traveling but that's what happens
when you do a content marketing
challenge so I'm clicking on the
real-time analytics just to show you
these two numbers are really important
to YouTube right so the last 60 minutes
what's been going on the last 60 minutes
and the last 48 hours now for me I like
to see this number sitting at like
12,000 like 10 to 12 thousand and on
weekends it does go lower but this is
actually quite low so what I can look at
here is when I see this number getting
down it's like okay miles so you you
really gotta do a touch point on a video
I'm thinking about increasing my
frequency of videos right now and then
this I like to see this number sitting
around 300 I'll leave this open and
maybe we'll jump in here and take a look
once where once we're back but you can
see on some of these videos that I did
the power of inspiration my abundant
circle videos these are kind of vlog
style videos and they're not normal on
my channel you can see this one was like
one of the only real value packed videos
I did in Bali it's still getting lots of
views right now but my other ones that
were kind of like man I just kind of
forced these videos I'll be perfectly
honest with you um they're just not
getting the long term
volume of views that I often got and I
often get from my videos that you can
kind of see from these ones when I was
when I'm back up and rocking so that's
what I'm that's where I'm going to shift
and that's what I'm shifting into so
real quick I want to do an overview and
I want to change this date range around
I like to take a bit of a broader
perspective you know when you're looking
month-over-month at things you can see
my trend was up at this point and then
it leveled and then it started to go
down I'm gonna rectify this in the next
30 days here and I'm gonna click
comparison and I'm gonna do the previous
period and that's gonna load here so if
I'm going like 90 days over 90 days if
you notice I'm only one second
difference here right 649 648 I'm
sitting at I mean this actually went up
so over the last 90 days my numbers went
up and the number of views went up so
what I'm really really showing you here
is don't stay too focused in your
numbers if you're looking at your
numbers and you're in like a 1 week or a
28 day range you're not getting a great
kind of feel on the pulse of your
channel and the reason is because you'll
have these little fluctuations that go
up and down but ultimately over the
longer period that one month blip of me
not making the greatest amount of videos
or the greatest videos that I've done
and not doing any live streams in 30
days that actually hasn't really changed
much for me at all and that's really
important to pay attention to so I want
to go back and do one more longer-term
view I want to see if I can do this time
last year so it doesn't have that by
default so I'm gonna do a custom range
and we're gonna go back through what is
it's December 2nd right now so let's go
to December 2nd 2016 and I got to go
back through so September to October yep
you get to see me live this is how I do
it I'm counting on my fingers right now
you can't see it but that's how I'm
trying them I think I got it that's
pretty close to a 90 day over 90s so
this is year over
year right so the period of September
October November in 2016 I was a few
months in getting started to 2017 I'm
now 15 months in the orange line was
literally this is one year difference do
you think I'm concerned about this
little bit of decline here absolutely
not
this trend shows so clearly the power of
these content marketing challenges it's
all in that persistence over long
periods of time you can see here these
views like like it just yeah there's
maybe a tiny downtrend here not really
let's look at how big that gap actually
is you know I'm getting literally like
6,000 views a day instead of 8 like
that's incredible numbers and then the
average view duration you can see how
consistent it's gotten over time and the
reason is because my efforts in YouTube
marketing are compounding so all these
videos I was doing a video a day down
here on this orange line all of these
videos are still getting a bit of
traffic here and there right I dropped a
few that worked really well a lot of
them don't get much traffic at all here
you can see most of these Peaks are
correlating to videos today as I publish
the videos this is probably Monday
Wednesday Friday right there and so you
can see that I'm is still getting new
bumps from publishing consistently but
really the reason this is so high in the
blue line is because I've published
hundreds and hundreds of videos over the
course of over a year and this is what
my goal like like one month up I love
seeing my numbers up you know 90 days
over 90 pop I love seeing that but to me
it's all about what's going on here over
here it's all about what's going on you
know in this year versus like 2020
that's the kind of vision I hold for
what I'm creating here and when you have
that long vision it's so easy to be to
kind of like weather the ups and the
downs cuz sure I've got some downs in
here I've got some new lows I haven't
seen lows this low for a while but 3.25
million minutes watched in 90 days
that's astounding right like almost a
half a million views in 90 days like
that is absolutely incredible especially
when in ninety days only it's six
thousand view
and 25 thousand minutes watched just
this time last year so what a difference
a year makes and let's jump over to the
blog now I've got a team transcribing
and copy editing my content we're doing
two new posts per week I haven't been
mailing them as much but I'm getting
better at that and I'm getting in the
groove you can see I've got twenty
thousand visits per month right now from
about 12,000 different individuals total
38,000 page views these are really big
numbers for me in this niche um I'm
embarking on a very difficult very
saturated very competitive niche right
people who teach internet marketing are
often good at internet marketing not
always unfortunately so right I'm going
up against some some people who know
what they're doing right it's not like
the the vegan dog food niche where
there's no real SEO in the house like
I'm literally going against SEO s who
sell courses on how to do SEO this huge
bump right here I did a cyber monday
email I mailed a few times for Black
Friday and Cyber Monday I put a deals
page together on my site and I mailed
that a couple times
got a nice bump and I've been publishing
content repeatedly so let's just do I
think I can do year-over-year really
easily in this comparison so let's start
with a year over a year so that's gonna
be easy here so that's my year over year
I've got literally two thousand eight
hundred and sixty five percent more
sessions from four thousand percent more
visitors year over year these are
astounding numbers right like as you can
see here the orange three sessions that
day now 629 Black Friday last year Cyber
Monday I had 43 this year I had over a
thousand visits on that one day right so
this is again I'm trying to paint a very
honest picture that yes you have to put
in effort for months and years in a row
and that's ultimately how you do create
these kinds of big businesses you
sometimes see people who come in and it
appears as if they came out of nowhere
they burst onto the scene overnight
success whatever you want to call it
they were just down here for a very long
time putting in the work quietly and you
hadn't noticed them until they reached
here and then things started to explode
I don't know when you found my content
or where it was at but you know I've
been chugging along on this doing these
results videos every 30 days for a very
long time but turn this off I'm gonna do
can I do last 90 days I can't easily
there so let's do date range of
September 2nd if I go back here do
December 1st cool we'll apply that so
this is the last 90 days over 90 you can
see that's a pretty consistent line I've
got a few nice big bumps in here which I
do like to see those are usually result
of my email but you can see these kind
of mounds coming in these are when I'm
publishing I'm not emailing every blog
post I put up I should and I will and
then let's compare this over the last
one and you know it's just another way
so I create these videos I put a lot of
energy in creating the video then that
video gets transcribed and put into a
blog post at that point I can re email
that content it gives me more things to
give to my list it's more jabs allowing
me to throw more hooks in the garyvee
kind of lingo so here you're seeing i've
got 77% more visits this year over last
year for this 90-day window period
excuse me that is literally 90 over 90s
so this is just the last three months
versus six months ago essentially this
is the start of the orange line is six
months ago the end of the orange line is
three months ago which is where the blue
line picks up so almost a hundred
percent you know like 77 percent 90
percent more users in just 90 over 90
and this is 100 percent in because of
you know Josh if you're watching or
before-and-after thank you buddy for
your willingness to help I've got a team
of people who are like I said taking my
blog post there running through Trent
comm to get them transcribed then
they're turning them into written blog
post I have my layout guy he's making
really cool graphics and doing all that
kind of work for me and this is the
result let's flip it back to a 90 over
90 for the previous year and then
that'll be our last one then we'll go
into the podcast stats which is new here
and like literally I was flatlined right
this is my blog dying last year
I've been running my blog for like six
years seven years and it was literally
flatlining
it wasn't until I put in a system and a
mechanism for consistent content over
long periods of time that I've been able
to see real traffic like a real website
and I now have a real business that
generates real income five thousand nine
hundred and thirty six percent more
sessions from seven thousand four
hundred eighteen percent more people I'm
literally connecting with almost forty
thousand people a quarter at this point
which is astounding like think of what
it would cost to have a retail brick and
mortar shop that had enough walk in
people asking you about marketing or
whatever you do right my niche is
marketing have enough people interested
in what I do to come look at my retail
shop like the cost of that in a retail
setting would be super expensive the
cost of me running this blog is like ten
bucks a month with my hosting right like
there's really not that much
I have systems in place and I'm paying
people to do the work because I I've got
other things that my time is more
valuable doing but I could be doing all
of this work myself if I really needed
and wanted to bootstrap this up so this
is the power again of consistent effort
if you're a writer don't even go to
youtube right just right like you can
create these results and honestly this
traffic here from Google is is the best
traffic in the world and the reason is
these people see my pop-up and they get
the option to join my email list and
most of my email list growth actually
comes from here but I can't write like I
mean I could write but I don't like
writing so this is difficult for me to
create this kind of content for me
creating YouTube videos that's easy
right I'm I can go in and make videos
pretty pretty effectively pretty easily
you see I've made almost 300 videos at
this point in the 15 months but to write
blog posts is something I just don't do
it that's why I'm outsourcing it because
I know myself enough but this is really
the key to me cuz I own this traffic I
own this WordPress blog this is mine I
can move it I could do anything I want
to it and I show that pop up and that
pop up is building my list at a very
very aggressive rate so let's go into
the podcast I'm using Lipson for my
podcast if you haven't downloaded and
reviewed my podcast yet please do you
can search on whatever podcast directory
you use
just search from miles Beckler I'm the
only miles Bechtler so I show up and
just give me a review if you're on if
you're on the iTunes Store that really
helps me a lot you see I had this
gigantic spike I don't even know where
that came from so over 500 downloads in
a day you can see now I've had over
10,000 600 downloads all time and if you
notice my number from October 30 160 400
that that's huge right this is jumping
up quick I'm kind of averaging somewhere
I don't know I'd say around 200
downloads a day
I think obviously I want this to
increase and what's coming out through
here is the audio rip off my YouTube
video that's essentially what's coming
out to my podcast directory is just the
audio rip I don't really do the ones
where I share my screen I only put up
the podcasts that are just kind of
talking so like this one might not make
it to my podcast if it does hello
podcast listener thank you for joining
but I don't know if it will and you can
see in here I've got kind of more
download information I haven't really
dug in here
I honestly don't know what I'm looking
at yet because this is so new for me but
just this all-time number is really what
I'm after and that's it right so this is
all I look at I don't look at my numbers
much for myself because honestly I'm not
in it for the numbers I have this
long-term vision I know where this is
going but a part of my mission is to
help show you that consistent effort
over long periods of time in one
specific focused niche is what's
required to build a business and I can
tell you that based off what my wife and
I did on our angel meditation website I
can tell you that till I'm blue in the
face and it's not gonna click so what
did I do
I started over from 0 15 months ago I
had 0 subscribers I had zero videos I
had zero now you can even see my numbers
are quickly coming up right the last 60
minutes my estimated view is now up to
250 it's exactly what I like to see this
is really due to my live it's because I
got this live stream going live stream
live streams seem to do really well with
kind of getting a little bit of extra
promotion so right now since I'm live
since this is live on YouTube it's
sending little notifications out to
people who are subscribers to people who
are interested in what I've got going on
and that gets them over for the live it
also generally creates a little bit more
chatter in the the chatter kind of pops
up in in the the chat box so I get a lot
more engagements in YouTube and that
also kind of triggers they're out there
algorithm so that's what I've got for
you on the data I hope that makes sense
and again if I haven't said it enough
because I don't think I could ever say
it enough the trick to this game making
money online build the brand online is
consistent focused strategic effort
that's in alignment with who you are
focused on one site one niche one
platform for a very extended period of
time at 15 months in I'm just getting
started
right I'm literally just getting started
at this point in time I I see a vision
for doubling the number of videos I have
in the next year year and a half I want
to increase my frequency I'm building
this this kind of studio I'm in it's
it's kind of haphazard my quality I'm a
little grainy I don't love this webcam
so I got like a new webcam I got a new
microphone I'm really kind of gonna step
this up I may play with the idea give me
a secrets here I might play with the
idea of doing like a daily show like a
daily live show it's something I've been
bouncing around in my head I'm not ready
to commit yet I've got some speaking
engagements in Europe coming in but
whatever you're gonna you're gonna see
that it's not about me this is about
long-term consistent do the work day-in
day-out show up show up show up and
that's why the 90 day challenge is so
powerful gets you to flex that muscle
enough times in a row to we're doing the
work becomes your normal and that's
really the key to it all
at this point I'm gonna jump in I'm
gonna answer any questions that I can

known as a Facebook Ads guy because of
I'm putting out a lot of helpful I'm
probably putting out the most helpful
free content on Facebook advertising
let's just say I'm top 5 i whatever you
take of that it just kind of is a fact
that I'm putting out more than most
people do a lot of people charge for
what I put out so I'm kind of getting
known as a Facebook person but
ultimately I believe content marketing
is probably the best way to build a long
term lifestyle business and it's one of
those things look at what I'm doing
right like I'm live on YouTube I've been
publishing non-stop on YouTube for 15
months I'm publishing to my blog all the
time I got my podcast going same thing
my wife and I did she just originated
her content through the written word so
that's kind of the the approach we've
taken I've never once run anything paid
to the Miles Beckler YouTube channel to
my blog none of it I've never done one
single advertisement and I don't think I
ever will because I don't really want to
have to always be paying for traffic I'd
rather put in the work do a lot of work
up front build the audience through
giving value like this moment we're
having right now it's you know Saturday
3:45 there's a few other things I could
be doing right now but I'm carving out
some time on my weekend to be of service
to you and that that's how we grow
audiences and that's how we connect with
people so animals are awesome can you
sign up on oli Express as an affiliate
and then get products even cheaper you
know that's probably against their Terms
of Service like can you do things that
are against their Terms of Service I
guess but that's kind of shady and if
you get caught they'll shut you down
like build a real business build it for
the long term if you need to sell things
off of all the express like just know
that that's a fixed cost in your
business and learn how to build around
that fixed cost so you can create a
long-term sustainable business so any

from 9 to F I love it financial
independence I love the the fire
subreddit I've been reading in there a
bunch so what's my opinion on Facebook
Ads built in split testing tool versus
my own 5
four-day method I prefer my $5 per day
method because it gives me more control
when I do find those audiences I like
leveraging Facebook's technology for
kind of helping me find the customers
within big groups like within the
audiences but I really like knowing if
audience a audience B or audience C is
delivering the right amount of customers
for me and then I adjust my amount I'm
spending daily my daily budget on each
of those separately so you know I'm kind
of a one-trick pony you know when I find
something that works
I don't really stray from that very
often I I'm just like I'm just gonna
keep doing this that's working right now
I'll be honest I've backed off a lot of
my campaigns because my demographic is
one of the more affluent and desirable
purchasers through the holiday season
right like a lot of toy manufacturers go
after mom a lot of a lot of selling a
lot of these big businesses are
advertising to Mum right now and mum is
my demographic so I've scaled back my
ads to only the ones that are delivering
me customers within KPI I think I only
have like five or six ad sets I'm
probably only doing 7080 hundred bucks a
day right now which is maybe a 1/3 to
1/5 you know I'm like 300 500 hours a
day when things are chugging along well
for me so I like to keep that control
personally over some things but then
again you know I used to do all manual
bidding back in the day I bidding on
Facebook with the Facebook bidding
instead of doing it manually and I got
actually better numbers and it took less
time and I had less mistakes so I have
kind of gone into the Facebook ecosystem
for some of the things that they try to
make helpful but I'm skeptical of them
at the same time so I guess the ultimate
answer which is kind of a shitty answer
but it's to test it right so give it a
shot
see if it works as long as you're
getting leads and customers within your
KPI I don't really care how it works
right like and I'm not saying I don't
care like I'm trying to give you the
blueprint that I've found that works for
me but if you find a totally different
way to get your your leads and your
customers within your KPIs run with it
and hit me in the comments let me know
what's working for you but I might not
even test it myself because I got a few
things kind of working on my own have I
had success formatting my facebook
ad audience using customer emails Oh
totally so I upload customer emails I do
look likes off of customers I exclude my
customers and then the big one I sell
more things to my customers so customers
from my main site they are going to get
presented offers to join my membership
program we're working on a new sales
letter for the membership program we're
gonna do a big launch on that at new
year's it's gonna be part of like a new
year's resolution type thing because you
know we're in the meditation space like
challenged people to do a 30-day
meditation challenge and that's kind of
what we're really focused on right now
is how to sell more to your past
customers because once somebody becomes
a customer it's easier to resell or to
sell more things to that customer than
it is to go find a new customer solves
often less expensive to sell more to
your same customers so helping your
customers solve more of their problems
and going deeper with your current
customers is generally an easier path to
more revenue for your business than it
is to go continue to convert cold
traffic in the leads and leads into
customers but then again once you get a
firing you kind of run both at the same
time right so cold people become warm
warm people become leads leads because
customers customers become long-term
members and high ticket purchasers and
you build funnels that automate that and
your ads pick them up based on the pixel
data of where they're at and what
they're doing just see on the next
question here Jason what's up man how
long in your content production so you
choose what you're gonna be the expert
at so it's a really good question um and
like I didn't I just chose to share what
I have 15 20 years of experience in
right so I grew up in Silicon Valley in
the southeast San Francisco Bay Area I
graduated high school in 1999 which was
like right in the middle of the dot-com
boom I had friends who skipped college
and they were webmasters making really
good money so my take on the world and I
never I don't remember a time growing up
without a computer in the house I always
had even like a 286 or really early pcs
and my dad always had early modems
because he worked for the newspapers and
he would dial in to work he would he
would have remote connection to work
when like the first modems came out and
they were
super expensive so like I have this
weird DNA and environment I grew up in
that this internet stuff is normal so
I'm I am just pulling when I'm talking
about this stuff like I've been I
started making money online in 2003
which is like over 14 years about 15
years ago now at this point I made my
first money online so I'm just sharing
what's actually easy for me to talk
about because I've been geeking out on
this stuff since the 90s put my first
websites with Dreamweaver and front-page
and all those shitty programs that we
had to deal with back in the day so like
I'm just trying to leverage what I have
like what I know by heart because that's
easy for me to talk about and so I'm
just my whole approach with the 90-day
challenges go forth and just give
whatever you can and then observe what
YouTube responds to and what I mean is
so a minute ago you probably heard me
say I was like I'm kind of have found
myself in this interesting place of
becoming a Facebook guy that's because
when I published my first facebook
videos which weren't until like day 90
right if you look through my early
videos and you flipped through if you
sort my channel my videos by oldest to
newest you'll notice I didn't talk about
Facebook until literally like at least
two months in I bet it was mid month
four so I think part of the reason why I
did a 120 day challenge to set a 90 day
challenge is I have family members who
wanted my facebook content hadn't made a
video on it yet and I promised him I
would so I was like I'll just keep going
for another month and then I went into
the Facebook stuff hardcore then I
noticed those videos got the most
traction out of everything I did on
YouTube so I decided like okay YouTube's
algorithm and the audience on YouTube
are showing me through the data I'm
finding in these analytics that these
videos are getting the most views
obviously I should break it down and
show every single step in the process
that kicked my channel up so it's almost
like I didn't decide that for me right I
just took like okay I've got this broad
knowledge of marketing and make money
online and like I've been studying and
playing with this stuff forever I just
started making videos I think a lot of
this games about mindset so you'll see a
ton of mindset videos on my challenge
and I was just trying different things
and then I observed
don't appear and that pattern was that
my facebook video started doing well and
that's when I went just super geeky
super deep step-by-step here's how to do
every little step in the Facebook
process that's where I created literally
like a course worth of a can of content
for free and then once I finished that
it was like okay what do I do now and
it's like well so if people want that
and they're not having good results
odds are their funnels broken and then I
was like alright so the next logical
step would be to print out all this
funnel content and those videos are
doing really well to all the meanwhile
tracking the progress on content
marketing and being sure I'm teaching
content marketing because I do a lot
more content marketing and I do Facebook
advertising and I make most of my money
from my email as to my content marketing
obviously I'm growing my email list with
four my main business with Facebook ads
but but a lot of that's coming from the
organic side so it was kind of
long-winded roundabout way but it's like
you know I think just go forth with what
is easy go go go ninety days try a bunch
of stuff keep going and observe what the
data shows you that the audience and the
YouTube algorithm like and then do more
of that so question is the repeal for
net neutrality a threat to SEO um I have
no idea and I don't care um I don't feel
threatened in any way shape or form as a
business owner one part of being an
entrepreneur is we're always gonna have
to adaptability is the name of the game
right so if for some reason like I just
can't see how like my rankings would
change or like I don't know I just I
don't see it I think there's a lot of
fear a lot of people talking about it
right now it's it's a hot topic and what
what may end up happening is um I think
you mess with Millennials internets and
they'll actually show up to the voting
booth so if this gets scary and people
can't access the websites they like and
Internet entrepreneurs circle lose money
or something if like you know worst case
scenario right like if that whatever
you're thinking the worst case scenario
is about net neutrality if that actually
does work out I think you're gonna see
more young people more people who grew
up with internet like you know you got
Millennials now voting age like the
things their life line and they've never
lived without one of these so you try to
cut and limit what they get you go China
on them and try to like censor things
they're gonna freak out and I think that
could be how you start a revolution and
like that revolution is 18 to 25 year
olds showing up to the polls and voting
out the people who made that happen and
voting in people who maybe take better
care of us because obviously corporate
lobbyists are running the government
right now in the United States of
America so like I could see it being a
good thing right I could I can see but
it might have a rocky path as an
entrepreneur as an internet marketer I
have no concerns whatsoever I know for a
fact like if you love my youtube videos
and something happen you're gonna do
what it takes to get my YouTube videos
cuz you're getting value from what I'm
doing and if you have to do something
different on your end to access this
you'll go there am I gonna see you like
a decrease in I don't know it doesn't
matter cuz I'm looking at big big
picture stuff I'm looking at one three
five ten year things and like so maybe I
gotta write a book and I'll put it out
on Kindle and everybody'll download it
on Kindle or you know there's there's
just adapting is is it part of the game
and I just I don't really trip on it at
all I'm just I'm intrigued by it and I
wonder if cuz so to go further with the
Millennials showing up that that they
actually start voting and showing up to
the to the polls there's more
Millennials right now than there are
baby boomers right and this the first
time we've had that back cross so
there's less baby boomers in our world
and there's more Millennials so if the
Millennials were like as motivated as
the baby boomers were to show up to the
polls to vote what they want easily
could take over the entire government
right like easily people who hold the
same values and beliefs and aren't owned
by corporations that the Millennials
would vote for we could create a lot of
change and I'm not even a millennial
right but um they could like the younger
generations could shift that it's just
not motivating right there the pain of
what's going on in the world is enough
to kind of like complain about but it's
not enough to show up in November and
vote about some point that pain
threshold is gonna shift and they're all
gonna show up to vote and the boomers
might have a little backlash from doing
something dumb so I'm curious to see
where it goes but no concerns in
business or anything like that

so sorry I'm trying to look like traffic
with the 90 hundred percent video views
you'll start to get a lot of that
actions to keep strengthen your pixels
so so strengthen the pixel like remove
that idea like your pixel data is only
used by the ad set that is using it so
like if you're running a video ad and
you get 90 percent views and you
retarget them in ad set B the pixel data
does not go over the audience data does
but you're starting over on your website
conversion so this website conversion
audience in ad set B is not influenced
by the data gathered by ad set a every
ad sets data is used separately by
Facebook's machine learning system
within the ad set level right I hope
that's clear so so there's no overlap
there you need to find how to get sales
right if you're doing ads like hey are
you generating leads you gotta be
generating leads because you need to
follow up with people very few people
are ready to go click on your ad buy
your thing like very few people maybe a
tenth of a percent unless you are you
have an incredibly powerful unique
selling proposition you're you're
already super well-known in the world
but you know like for new things commit
like you're gonna have to warm them up
with content somehow so find out how to
get a lead mono your cost per lead
monitor your cost per customer and keep
playing with it like if videos aren't
working I don't do video ads because
they don't work for me try image ads try
long texts up top ads split test your
sales page or you said what kind of
sales page are you sending them to do
you have great sales coffee on that
sales page there's a lot of variables
and is rarely the ad right it's rarely
the Facebook where the problem is we
were like I'm not getting sales more
often than not it's your sales page
sucks it's the headline it's the hook
it's not grabbing people it's not
compelling them to take action or your
sales funnels out of place and you got
the sale before you got the educate them
on why they need what you have and we
gotta educate people on why they need
what you have in order for them to be
ready to pull out their credit card
purchase with you so it's probably not a
tweaking the Facebook thing is probably
looking
your funnel and finding where people are
slipping through the cracks and going
from there

so you start testing ads as work using
educational form cool digital marketing
webinar if you're selling something like
sure run ads and see if you can fill
your funnel at a cash flow positive or
breakeven level I don't I'm not selling
anything so I don't want to invest money
when I don't see a clean path to that
ROI like I'm getting I'm earning income
from this platform right I got affiliate
products that I promote and I teach you
how to use certain things when they buy
them I I make an affiliate Commission
but but it's not clear enough for me to
go out and just start paying for
advertising and I just don't like going
negative on this cash flow negative
right so but I'm also in a position my
weapon I have a successful business
already this is kind of like leg number
twos this is passion project so I would
liken where I'm at to dude who has a
desk job eight to five and is building
something on the side in the evenings
and weekends that's what I'm really
trying to show you how I'm doing right
now and that's really where I feel like
I'm at I am NOT I'm replaced my income
from my main business with my wife by
any means at all I'm contributing to it
and it's you know being put to good use
but like so so there's a lot of factors
in it right it's like where are you in
your in your business and your audience
growth and like have you proven that
your audience members turn into
customers consistently you know in a way
that you can measure right because a
real business as someone who could spend
money on advertising to drive sales in a
cash flow positive situation might not
be cashflow positive on that first sale
it might be sale two or three that
happens in your follow-up sequence but
that's a business and right now I'm I'm
kind of hobbyist with the miles dr. calm
although I will say that the income is
really consistent at this point it is
something that could be depended on but
