hi everyone this is stephanie from
projectlifemastery.com and today i'm
going to share with you how to find
profitable products to promote as an
affiliate marketer and i'm going to be
doing an affiliate marketing tutorial
video for you in this video so i'm gonna
be getting behind my computer and
walking you through step by step how to
actually find profitable products you
can promote to have affiliate programs
and you can start making money from as
an affiliate marketer now before I go
into the step-by-step tutorial I first
want to kind of set up this video in
this training and I think the first
thing that you need to make sure that
you've identified before you find a
product to promote as you first have to
identify what is the niche okay the
niche or the market that you actually
want to build your business around
because any product out there you can't
just pick a random product out there
it's got to be relevant to the niche the
the business the brand that you want to
build okay so for example let's say
you've identified that you want to build
your affiliate marketing business around
self-development and you know helping
people improve their lives or maybe you
want to build it around yoga or fitness
instrument like the guitar you've got to
identify that first and once you've
identified that okay now we can really
identify what's the criteria that you
should follow that the products that we
could then research and find they fit
under okay I always make sure I have a
criteria because you know not every
product out there that you might find
will be profitable for you it might not
be a great quality product and so we got
to make sure we have a criteria that
we're using to do our research to judge
which is a great product that is gonna
get you a great bang for your buck and
make you money but of course add value
to the consumer because at the end of
the day that's always the goal and
outcome of affiliate marketing it has to
be a win-win-win what I mean by that
it's got to be a win for you in terms
that you can make money from it it's got
to be a win for the company or the
product creator so that they can acquire
customers they wouldn't normally acquire
because you're promoting it as an
affiliate
and of course it has to be a win for the
consumer that customer that they are
receiving a product they're buying a
product that is actually going to
benefit them add value to their life
solve a problem for them in some way
okay so it's got to be a win-win-win
very important now when it comes to
criteria I'll share with you a few
things that I always look for so here's
a few criteria okay first it has to be a
a commissionable product okay
meaning the product that you're gonna
probably going to research not every
product has an affiliate program okay
not every product will pay you a
commission for promoting it so obviously
it has to have an affiliate program the
product it has to have you know be
willing to pay you a commission for
referrals that you're gonna send their
way and you know when we do our research
that's really what we're looking for
we're looking for products that have
that affiliate program sometimes you
find products and then you reach out to
them you find out they have an affiliate
program that might not be publicly
advertised and then others they publicly
advertise it on different marketplaces
which make it a little bit easier to
find so that's always got a you know be
important that there's an affiliate
program you can earn a commission by
marketing and promoting it the other
piece of criteria I'd say my spelling is
not good today it has to be valuable it
has to actually be valuable as I said it
has to be a great quality course a great
quality program I always recommend to
actually have bought the program the
product yourself to go through it if
you're a bigger affiliate like you're
you know a successful affiliate marketer
already you get the luxury of oftentimes
the companies will give you the product
for free to check it out to promote it
like when you have a big audience like
myself I often times have people they
approached me to promote their products
because they see the audience that I
have they see you know my relationship
with people that I'm adding value and so
most companies they actually come to me
at this point and they say Stefan I've
got this great product I think can
benefit your audience
they send it to me in the mail if it's a
free prod if it's a physical product or
they want to give me access to it and
you know I most of the time don't
promote most of those things that come
my way but that's kind of a cool thing
you get the luxury of as you build your
business your brand you get a lot of
those products for free and people come
to you instead of you having a research
and find them but obviously you have to
determine it's a valuable product by you
going through it by you going through it
you're gonna do a better job of actually
promoting the product because if you're
gonna believe in it you're gonna have
passion for it you can share your story
and experience which people can connect
to it and relate to okay and you get a
benefit from the product as well so it's
great for you anyways because you can
improve yourself with that product which
is always valuable so you have to make
sure it's going to be valuable to the
audience to the customer to the consumer
if they if you promote something that
sucks that's not good it's gonna hurt
you it's gonna hurt your reputation
people won't trust you so it has to be
with their interest first I always
follow that's my cardinal rule people
come to me and I never make my decisions
with affiliate marketing based on money
okay cuz I don't want that to skew my
recommendation or endorsement first and
foremost it always has to serve the
audience add value to them because I
know if I do that and people love it
they enjoy the product that I share with
them they're gonna trust me more and
then I'm like thank you so much Stefan I
benefited so much from your
recommendation and they're gonna trust
maybe the next recommendation that I
might have for them so adding value has
to be a great quality product and the
last criteria there's a few more that I
won't go into here but you know
obviously there has to be a demand for
it a demand for the product people have
to want this product people have to be
searching for this product online you
know there has to be some sort of
problem that this product is solving so
making sure you do research on that and
knowing this product when it solves but
also research of the product to see our
people searching for it in the search
engines on YouTube
you know does this product have success
stories and reviews is it a popular
product the more in demand the product
is the easier and the
it's gonna be for you okay now ideally
this niche whether it's guitar or self
development or Fitness is an Asian
market that you have a passion for as
well because you're gonna enjoy actually
you know finding the products and
reviewing it and sharing it promoting it
of course when you actually enjoy it so
that would be the final piece of the
criteria that I would always recommend
in half so now that you guys understand
this what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna
share with you my screen where I'm gonna
walk you through step by step by step
how to find profitable products to
promote as an affiliate but I am gonna

said let me now share with you step by
step how to find profitable products to
promote okay let's dive in and do some
research to find some products that you
can promote as an affiliate and make
some money from so what I'm gonna share
with you here are a few different
marketplaces that you could do research
and find products they have affiliate
programs and again we want to make sure
we identify the niche the market that we
want to find products within so just for
example purposes let's use weight loss
or fat loss so one of my favorite
websites to come to here is called
clickbank.com clickbank has an affiliate
marketplace and all you got to do is
just come to the website click on
affiliate marketplace and you could do
searches here but they have a whole list
of different categories that you can
choose from and these are all the
different niches and marketplaces so
let's just kind of go into the health
and fitness market the category and
there's a few categories here that might
fit like dietary supplements diets and
weight loss of course exercise and
fitness
you know maybe men's health nutrition
could work you know you could you can
kind of dig into these different
categories but let's just go to diets
and weight loss and I can see here
there's a few different products that
show up there's actually 263 that show
up now this is sorted by popularity
which is what we want because this can
tell us what the demand is how much a
demand there is for this product because
if it's a popular product here and
Clickbank then that's a good indicator
that this project is selling that people
want it they're buying it and one of the
most important things that I pay
attention for here on Clickbank is known
as the gravity score so that's this
number right here GRA V this has 199
gravity which is really great this means
that this numbers based on how many
affiliates are promoting this product
and actually making money making sales
so that's a good indicator for you hey
this can this product is converting it's
doing well making money for others so
therefore it can make money for me as
well I can see the average amount per
sale so on average affiliates are
earning 30 $6.95 per sale they usually
have some information here about the
program and sometimes they have a
dedicated website with resources and
whatnot that can help you promote the
product so here I can see their
affiliate Resource Center and it looks
like they have a variety of products and
they even do an affiliate contest which
is cool so you can win prizes
if you drive a lot of sales to them so
that's one thing I love about affiliate
marketing is you can make extra money
through different affiliate contests
that some products and companies host
but they have a variety of different
products I could look into do research
on they'll give me the affiliate link
here too although if i come back to
clickbank i click on promote i can also
get the affiliate link but in order to
promote the products on Clickbank you
need to have a clickbank affiliate ID
which means all you got to do is come
back here signed up for a clickbank
account I come back to the home page
create an account you'll get your
affiliate ID and then you just replace
the xxx with your clickbank ID right and
then you copy and paste that link you
can start making money by promoting this
prod
so sometimes they have email swipes like
affiliate resources and tools and
banners and graphics that's something
that you can also look for too because
that can help you market and promote the
product so these are all email swipes
that you can use and of course you want
to check out the product itself so I'd
click here to look at their sales page
their marketing make sure that it
resonates with you and your market and
it adds value to them and of course
check out the product go through it
benefit from it because you're gonna be
much more powerful and sharing it with
others and sharing your story and
experience with it as well so you know
it's really just determining at first
which are the ones that you do want to
promote and go deep with you can reach
out to them of course they usually have
affiliate managers you can talk to you
and ask questions but there's a variety
of products that you can do research on
and look into all great ones that you
could potentially promote okay so
Clickbank is a great marketplace for
this you can even filter things based on
the gravity or the amount per sale some
of them they have membership programs
they pay a recurring Commission every
month so you can make passive income for
as long as people stay on as the
membership program and a lot of them
they have upsells and a back-end you can
also make affiliate Commission's from as
well another place is known as JV zoo
this is JV zoo market calm and they are
similar to Clickbank they have a variety
of different products that people sell
through their platform and they have a
built in affiliate program but you can
search here for different categories so
let's go to health and fitness and some
affiliate networks and marketplaces I
will mention might be a little bit
limited in options so that's why I like
to look around on a variety of different
ones so you can look around through
these ones it doesn't look like as many
good options as you know there is this
is actually sorted by newest but I'd
want to search by sales to make sure it
has a good demand but I could search
around here potentially find products
that way another one is known as
Commission Junction
CJ comm and a lot of these affiliate
marketplaces they don't just have
digital products but physic
products services events seminars
everything you can think of you can
promote so Commission Junction is great
I think you got to log in to see their
marketplace and search around ShareASale
is great as well they have a variety of
different merchants that you can pick
and choose from they've got over 39,000
affiliate programs and products that you
could promote so if I just got a popular
let's just see what they have and it
looks like fanatics calm like if you
wanted to promote sports equipment
memorabilia can earn up to 10%
commission what else do they have here
they have tours and activities around
the world so you know if you're in like
the travel knees you could promote that
clothing and
and yeah I can just search around a lot
more look at the different categories
they have to find potential products
here too and another one is Amazon
Associates this is Amazon's affiliate
program or you can actually promote any
product on Amazon and make a commission
from it now with Amazon the great thing
is there's there's millions of products
out there you can promote the downside
is you don't earn as much of a
commission as you might in some of these
other products and affiliate programs
just because most physical products on
Amazon they have a smaller margin and so
they can't really pay as much especially
if it's a physical product and usually
with Amazon Associates you want to
target more higher ticket products so
that you earn a higher Commission but we
can do a search here and I'll just type
in this type in fat loss and let's just
see which products come out but I can
search any specific product on Amazon
57,000 results showed up for this so
here's a number of supplements this is
selling for about $50 $30 and I would
just click on get link and then I can
then use that affiliate link to promote
promote these products so I can earn
Commission's on supplements if I wanted
to or I could even find a treadmill like
I can find anything on Amazon to promote
it so treadmills I could promote there
are three hundred dollars pretty
inexpensive treadmills actually but
thousand dollars and of course you can
look at the reviews of the products on
Amazon and make sure it's a great
quality product okay so Amazon can be
good for that too and then really one of
my favorite ways as often not looked at
that often it's just going to Google
right just searching you know typing in
fat loss affiliate programs and
sometimes you know you might get a
number of options here but sometimes I'm
looking for I'm going deeper with my
searches so I might type in like weight
loss affiliate programs or fitness and
just try to go more specific or I'm
searching around a specific product
because not every product has their
affiliate program advertised in a market
place sometimes it's not a private
affiliate program and you got to reach
out to the company or you have to search
so for example if I wanted to promote a
Vitamix blender I type in Vitamix
blender affiliate program
you know let's say I love my Vitamix and
I want to see if I can promote it and
sure enough they have an affiliate
program and it's not like they really
advertise it anywhere besides on their
website so sometimes it's got to do some
research and find them another one might
be the Blendtec affiliate program the
Blendtec blender and I can look here and
they've got one so they pay an eight
percent commission they've got a 45-day
cookie duration which means they give 45
days after someone clicks on the link
that you can still receive commission
for the sale they've got banners and and
a variety different resources and you
can apply for it so you know they have a
team as well that it can answer your
questions but they give you more
information about how you can join their
affiliate program and start promoting
their product so a lot of products that
I don't find I think of you know I think
hey you know Fitbit you know I used to
wear a Fitbit a lot I want to see if
they have an affiliate program and sure
enough they do I don't use Fitbit
anymore but I used to promote them but
now I promote something called the aura
ring or a ring is actually better than
Fitbit and they have an affiliate
program as well
and it's better because you can turn off
the Bluetooth on it which is great and
actually or ring I'm going to fleet for
them but they don't like advertise it
that great so again sometimes you got to
reach out to the company but Katy you
guys have an affiliate program I'd love
to promote your product I use the
product and and you reach out to them
sometimes they have it in their footer
to their affiliate link they don't they
don't advertise it that well here but I
just reach out to them and ask and a lot
of products that I find to promote
that's what I do I reach out to them or
just do a google search to find what
their program is like you can reach out
to their partnership opportunities and
and I'm sure they'd be happy to have you
be an affiliate so those are the
different ways that you can find
products to promote as an affiliate and
