we're going to talk about how to get

organic traffic and becoming a media

company now ultimately I've been

teaching through this channel how to

make money online and how to start an

online business and we've talked a lot

about funnels we've talked a lot about

affiliate marketing and some of the

other lifestyle businesses you can start

in order to generate revenue online

ultimately you're going to be growing a

subscriber list or an email list and

you're going to be offering them

products to purchase whether they're

your products or other people's products

as an affiliate that's the kind of

structure that's the monetization

process but then the question comes who

are these people right where do where do

I get these people to find me and

there's ultimately two ways that you can

kind of draw people into your funnel

number one is with paid traffic with pay

per click or cost per thousand where as

you're paying per view or there is

organic traffic now we're going to cover

the paid traffic methods in the

different series of videos in this one

we're going to talk about the organic

traffic and the organic traffic path is

definitely for people who have more time

than money right so if you're a busy

executive you're making six figures a

year and you're trying to change your

lifestyle because you don't want to

continue have to commute and miss out on

birthdays with your kids and all the

important stuff and you're ready to

invest your money inside of a business

to grow it more rapidly that's going to

be the paid traffic model and honestly

that is the model that I recommend and

that is the model that I'm most

aggressive with in my business right now

because it creates results fast but with

that said I have an incredibly intimate

knowledge of using organic traffic to

build a business because that's how I've

built my business when I started my

business I had no money I had no money

for ads I had no money for anything to

be perfectly honest I didn't have money

for a domain name and hosting at first I

had to save up for multiple weeks I was

over $50,000 in debt with student loan

debts when I began this process so I had

hustle and I had grit and I had the

ability to work my knuckles to the

grindstone put in 16-hour days and work

weekends because I had no money to

invest

and that worked out for me and it worked

well and that's what we're going to

cover in this series so the trick right

the ultimate trick to driving organic

traffic no matter which platform you

choose is becoming a media company and

if you think about it what does a media

company do they create and distribute

content they create and distribute

interesting content content that users

love content that gets shared content

that gets talked about it can even be

controversial content right if you look

at people like Rush Limbaugh or Howard

Stern who have massive platforms I mean

they just create controversial content

and oftentimes it's the people who are

so offended with them and hate them so

much that tune in every single day to

hear what they say next and how are they

sport supported through advertisements

these people they hang on every word

they have to hear more than the ads play

and that's ultimately where the money

comes in so what you're going to do as

an affiliate or as a online business

owner who is using organic traffic to

grow your business you create the

content whether it's written video or

spoken and then you distribute it on

different platforms and in different

mechanisms where those people will

generate ad revenue by displaying your

content and you get to connect with

interested people ultimately bringing

them back to your platform and bringing

them back to your funnel now this all

sounds a little abstract or complex

don't worry we're going to break it down

step by step in the next videos and

which is eventually going to become a

playlist which this will be the kind of

lead video on the playlist at that point

we're going to talk about how to get

organic traffic from Google how to get

organic traffic from Facebook Pinterest

we're going to talk about podcasting and

we're really going to look into the

different cut and even YouTube of course

I mean I'm on YouTube right now right

but we're going to look at these

different media and each of them is very

different although they're all very

similar we learn how those platforms

work so we can structure our content in

a way that the platforms like and when

the platforms like our content they'll

show our content to more interested

users as these interested users find our

content over

/ they'll like us they'll subscribe to

us they'll click through our links and

look at what's going on on our website

and they'll eventually take us up on our

free offers to build our email list

really as you move forward I'm going to

cover at least four or five different

kind of verticals you could go into I

don't recommend you go into every single

one of these the goal is not for you to

spread yourself thin and do a bunch of

things so so the goal is for you to find

the ones that work best with your

personality and make it easy for you to

take action and take steps in the

direction every single day when you find

that really master one of these maybe

two sometimes they work together really

well for example Google traffic and

Pinterest traffic can work together

really really well or Facebook

excuse me YouTube traffic and Google

traffic can kind of dovetail together

pretty well when they're done right and

I'll explain that in detail but I just

want to be really really clear as you're

growing organic traffic it's all about

putting in the time on one platform and

really digging deep to create excellent

content for that platform so the

platform loves you as a content

contributor they will recommend your

content to more of their users and those

users ultimately will find you will

research you they'll subscribe they'll

go to your list they'll get on your list

and eventually turn into customers so

you got to play by the rules of the

platform nothing that's going to follow

in these videos is about scheming a

platform in any way those days are over

we simply structure our content in a way

the platforms are going to love they

will give you reach because it's through

your content that they make their money

and they're giving you reach so they can

make a profit and you're able to connect

with their audience and ultimately build

your list and your audience so in the

videos that follow we're really going to

dig into the organic traffic side of

things again if you feel like you don't

have any money to invest in your

business but you're still committed

you're gonna want to choose one or two

of these and really really stick with it

for three to six months you want to put

in the work every single day you want to

create content every single day you know

the old phrase like an apple a day keeps

the doctor

way it's not 30 apples on day 30 that

keeps the doctor away right we can't do

nothing for a month and then batch a

bunch of work and then upload it and

then do nothing for another month and

expect that to work it's about taking

daily steps just like I've been doing in

this YouTube channel one video a day

every day and my subscriber counts are

up my traffic to my website is up and

the number of views continues to climb

at a faster and faster rate with every

video that I publish you're going to be

able to do the same thing and don't

worry if YouTube videos scare you

I have other ideas there's other ways

we'll find out what fits with your

personality and you'll be able to use

that consistently over time to grow your

audience grow your email list and

ultimately grow your entire online

business with organic traffic so I'm
