video we are going to look at my funnel
hack for advanced membership site funnel
now if you don't have a membership site
going right now I would highly recommend
that you start planning on it
figuring out a way to get your customers
to pay you month after month after month
creates predictable income for you and
true lifestyle right like the ups and
the downs of an affiliate marketing
business if you're smart you build your
emergency fund you pay off your debt you
can handle it right some ups and downs
we can write that out but I can tell you
from personal experience it's getting
hundreds upon hundreds if not thousands
of members each committed to paying you
seventeen 27:37 per month where you're
able to create the kind of cash flow
that really truly allows you to build a
lifestyle with confidence paying
mortgages raising kids paying for
colleges like all those kind of like
real word real things
cover your tax bill every quarter as you
need to
having the predictable income it just
stabilizes everything and you might have
10 to 20% of people churning out of it
but you're able to market to bring in
more and net grow your um kind of your
membership funnel in your cash flow all
while so month one you get 20 people
giving you 50 bucks a month and then
month 2 you get 10 more a month 3 get 10
more and you've only lost 4 in the
process by the end of month 4 you've got
40 people giving you 50 bucks a month
and that's how cashflow grows multiply
that out over month after month after
year after year and you really can build
up a massive amount of cash flow so if
you don't have a membership program yet
at least be thinking about how you can
create one start to lay the foundation
for that if you do have one let's go

membership and kind of organize it in a
way that's going to allow you to buy
lots of traffic bring in lots of new
people and really ramp up your cash flow

funnel so we kind of get myself down

is it it's a really quite a simple
funnel again but I really recommend that
you pay attention to how powerful this
is because it's got a twist in it that
has absolutely revolutionized my
business I would say this is in the kind
of history of my business this is like
the third and most recent massive
leveling up I've experienced in my
business generating more cash flow
generating more users and generating
more long-term cash flow so you get come
more upfront and more long-term so how
does it work right that's the big
question as always we start with an
opt-in page if you haven't seen my
videos where I rant about the power of
an opt-in that comes from the days when
I didn't do this and my income stopped
and I had no email list to work with so
building the opt-in on the very first
step gives you an asset that email list
is an asset that you can market to over
time so that's always always the first
now what we're offering for the opt-in
here is a free video that's going to

when they enter their email and they
submit they go to a video sales letter
now this video sales letter here it does
reveal the secret to blank whatever that
is for you it tells a story it builds
the drama or the challenge or the desire
and then it tells them how to solve that

page and this checkout page it's a $1
trial and what happens when they fill
out this checkout page is on day 8 after
the $1 trial
it automatically rebuilds them at your
monthly rate so day 8 starts it's a
30-day billing cycle mine is set to 37
dollars per month so day one I'm getting
a dollar day eight I'm getting thirty
seven dollars day 38 I'm getting thirty
seven dollars day sixty eight etc I've
been running membership programs for
years we have some members who have been
active members on our membership program
for I believe four plus years and when
you start to add up the the value of
monthly payments over the course of you
know 48 months and more it's a
noteworthy amount of income I really
increases the lifetime value of your
customers and the great part is they're
incredibly happy to be a part of the
membership because we're giving them
seventy to a hundred dollars per month
in value for the discounted price of 37
dollars per month so they go through the
process of checking out for the one
dollar it's really clear on this page
that on day eight they're going to be
billed starting on the monthly and it's
also extremely clear on how they cancel
and I have them email my support team in
order to cancel I even reinforce that in
the emails that they get once they sign

transparency is incredibly important and
like I've got chicken scratch drawings
here right this isn't this isn't to
scale per se so like in this content
that I'm using these lines I'm very
clear like by the time they get here
they know for a fact it's a $37 per
month program but something magical
happens here after they check out for
the $1 trial and we actually take them
to another sales letter this is our one
I'm offer one-click upsell what I'm

significantly discounted price I've got
it down lower than 50% off or higher
than 50% off I think it's like 62
percent off or something is what they

so what this does for them right this
video is very simple it's under three
minutes and it essentially says hey look
it's going to take you a while and I
congratulate you for being an action
taker and if as you continue down this
sorry for the brain stoppage there but
as you continue on your path to fix your
biggest problem or achieve your greatest
desire it's going to take time and odds
are it's going to take at least a year
so what I'm going to do is I'm going to

right now and then I break it down I say
if you were to pay 12 months at 37
dollars per month it's four hundred and
forty-four dollars per year if you are
interested in buying a year upfront

so here I've angled it to where when
they click this upgrade button and
there's a no thanks below it - I just
didn't include that but when they click
this upgrade button they are mentally
positioned to save more than it's gonna
cost right they're still spending a
hundred and ninety seven dollars but in
their mind it's like wow I'm gonna save
two hundred and forty seven dollars this
is such a good deal I know that I want
this I'm going to go ahead and order it
I also do reinforce the fact that they
have their 30 or 60 day money back
guarantee I think we do a 60-day
money-back guarantee on this um just
because like if they don't love it
that's fine I'll refund it I'm okay with
that and then after they click upgrade
or after they click no thanks they go
into the members area they set up their
account and they get all these fancy
download buttons and they get access to
what they just purchased now what does
this do so when I first started my
membership funnel
in man like 2013-2014 maybe it was there
was no trial
it was straight 37 dollars a month come
in
it's 37 bucks a month that's what it is
and that was the only offer it was a
very straightforward offer a lot of
people are turned off by subscriptions
so the upgrade number one is this dollar
trial on the front end it is a
no-brainer like I sit down in my Jeep
and more than a dollar and change falls
out of my pockets into the floorboards
into the ethers and in there never to be
seen again so like a dollar it's like is
cheaper than a cup of coffee
so this is such an unbelievably good
offer that a lot of people take you up
on the trial then we're seeing 25 to 35%
of people are taking us up on this
upsell which is an absolutely fantastic
cash flow generator because if you think
about it so I buy a click here right so
the moment they come here this page
takes a human about 30 seconds to
consume and fill out then they watch the
video here it's about 25 minutes before
they make a decision
the checkout page is about a minute and
then they go here to three-minute upsell
video so in the course of about 30
minutes I can go from cold traffic in a
pay-per-click ad to purchasing $198
that's $1 + 197 so I'm literally able to
generate a hundred ninety-eight dollars
in revenue within 30 minutes of paying
per click and then what do I do with
that revenue I generate here I dump it
right back into my pay-per-click and I
just use that to expand my budget and my
marketing budget grows therefore the
number of leads I bring in grow the
number customers members I bring in
grows and everything grows at a very

and again the byproduct of all of this
is a massive list right so I'm getting

I get about a 2% click conversion excuse
me not click-through but a conversion on

at this point they go into my email
autoresponder which is run by a weber
and they get a follow up sequence that
educates them more on the benefits of
solving their biggest problem which is
exactly what my membership does and then
maybe it's emailed to in the series
maybe it's email five in the series they
come back in and they join the funnel
and they start the trial so this again
is just the front end and there's a lot
of monetization that happens on going
from the $37 per month
people from here number two when this
automatically rebuilds for year number
two and generates another $197 charge
and from the email sequence that happens
for the opt-in list that follows up with
them you can even start to offer them
one-off products because again some
people are just anti subscriptions
they've been burned they've got stuck on
a subscription back in the past that
they couldn't get off of and it's not
that they don't want what you have it's
just that they won't consider doing a
subscription so after your autoresponder
sequence follows up and tries to promote
the the funnel for the membership
program if they don't take you up on
that then it's time to start offering
them one-off products for thirty seven
twenty seven seventeen 197 whatever it
is and you can offer the individual
components for one-off prices again
generating even more revenue so this has
been like the biggest level up like not
only is it the most recent level up but
it has done amazing things for my
business huge shout out to Mike Dillard
Mike Dillard com his list grow program
is exactly where I learned the
step-by-step on how to put this together

grow you'll find it it's it's a
brilliant brilliant setup it's a
brilliant funnel and not many people are
doing this so the the kind of like mass
consciousness the people most people in
the world's population haven't seen an
offer structured like this so it's still
kind of new if you go back to the simple
funnel
the whole like enter your email address
and get a free report and then the
upsell move people have seen that right
so we're a little bit kind of like
desensitized it doesn't have the wow
effect oh the wow factor or the kind of
like doesn't pack the same punch it used
to when that was a new concept but now
this is one of the newest concepts in
marketing and it's crushing it I've
taught this to several people
everything from the weight loss to the
personal coaching fitness coaching even
I even have a guy who I've kind of
taught this funnel who he's using it and
he's tweaking it to his own needs but he
sells physical products and he sells a
consumable product it's a type of
supplement and he does a like a $1 trial
to get like a trial bottle and then
afterwards he's offering them like a
monthly shipment so they get monthly
auto-ship and he's giving them a
ridiculous deal to pre purchase their
supplements every single month so with a
little creative thinking this can work
for just about everything so if you've
got a membership program start thinking
about how you can build this annual
upsell and this dollar trial into it
because I guarantee it's going to bump
your conversions if you don't have a
membership funnel yet or a membership
system really start to think about how
you can take what you do and turn it
into a monthly membership program we
create new products every month and what
our membership is is you get access to
everything we've ever done and
everything will do in the future for one
low price and we're constantly selling
retail 70 to 100 dollars worth of
products every month and our members
just log in and they get access to it
all everywhere right there all right so
