Taylor Conroy who's the founder of
change heroes and right now we're coming
to you from El Salvador and right here
we're building a house in fact we're
here with how many how many people are
doing people Katie Holmes 15 people were
building 20 homes in this community this
village it's been an amazing experience
so far and I'm here Taylor because we're
creating an experience like this for you
guys that are interested in it where you
guys can have a chance to come hang it
with me somewhere in the world we'll
have more details on this page for it
but you can basically fund or fundraise
to build a house like this for someone
that's in need a family that's in need
and actually have the experience of
traveling to the location build the
house with volunteers everything's
organized and it's just an amazing
powerful experience so Taylor do you
want to tell people a little bit about
why this is important and what's
involved yeah absolutely so it's
important for a million different
reasons but to keep it short and the
thing that hits hits me the most is
we're getting these families off living
on the ground so we can't really see
that much of like the existing homes
right now but a lot of times are made of
kind of mud and sticks and other
materials that not only can cause
infestations and diseases but it causes
these families to be on the ground so as
you can see behind us these homes are
raised we've got proper cement
foundation cement fiber walls and what
they're going to have rooms and it's
going to be like a huge improvement on
these people's lives and their
livelihoods so I mean as you guys know
like having a walk into our roof over
your head and like the dignity that
comes with having a place to call home
is pretty exponential yeah and so the
trip that we're going to do is we're
going to bring 30 people down and we as
a community project like matched your
community are going to build a community
for families living in slum conditions
in Latin America and like Stefan said
the idea the details are going to be on
this page and
it's probably go relatively fast because
it's only going to be 30 spots right 30
people that we can bring we can't take
anymore and there's a Nicole experience
on the end we're going to spend three
days on the beach doing master
masterminding hanging out sharing our
goals helping each other you know talk
about our experience that we can
integrate it but also just you know how
can we can excel ourselves so that we
can improve ourselves and be the best
that we can be so it's an amazing
experience and you guys work with Ted
show which is an organization that I
mean they're amazing they have the
volunteers they have they may make it
just really fun enjoyable experience
yeah anyway they built over a hundred
thousand of these holes all in 19
countries all over Latin America city's
using sustainable initiatives that are
happening so you can trust them they've
been around for almost two decades now
and do incredible work and they're super
trusted by the communities of the
community leaders isn't the mirror
working on your house right now is that
the man that's the mirror yeah the mayor
is working alongside stuffing like
that's how you guessing that's so funny
because we were like drilling holes and
like working together and everything
that's are hilarious yeah and we're
actually speaking in our office as well
if you're actually staying you know you
the amazing thing is you get the
experience of like getting outside your
comfort zone and it makes you appreciate
your life a lot more and get a different
perspective you want to share a little
bit about you guys because change Heroes
has an amazing platform that makes this
very easy for you they have a platform
that allows you to raise the money doing
this year yeah process so super simple
you and nine friends give three dollars
and thirty-three cents a day for three
months but is the price of a cup of
coffee a day for three months that adds
up to three thousand dollars and three
thousand dollars is enough to fund one
home for one family living in some
conditions in Latin America and you're
talking about 80 th 0 again is our
nonprofit partner so we are the
fundraising mechanism it's a video
enabled mechanism you'll see it just

straightforward you've wrought you've
raised $10,000 to do how you to school
whose clothes and women's empowerment to
get this yeah so this is the easiest
campaign that we've ever put together
because the smallest amount small town
people you and nine friends give me a
