Themeforest are selling fake theme now

I bought the theme “SmartHead | Tutoring Service & Online School WordPress Theme” via ThemeForest. The theme is developed by “AncoraThemes”.
Most of the functions which are shown in screenshots are missing or misleading. It is a just a fake dummy and misleading theme which should be removed as soon as possible. I trusted the theme, as I found it through Themeforst website. I will probably avoid Themeforst in the future as well, as they are not doing proper due diligence.
I requested the refund which is now declined by the author. The theme author told me there would be additional costs if I want to get some basic functionalities. What a rubbish and fraud theme and authors. They have now started cheating teachers/tutors as well — shame on them.
Now some of the attributes which I asked are supposed to be part of the theme. They are shown on the theme screenshots. However, he is asking additional money to be added/customised:
• Can I add a new group such as a language? No
• Can customer/student review a tutor? No, 
• Can visitor/students give stars to tutors? No. Even the stars need to be fakely provided by the admin. The screenshot clearly shows 5 stars on tutor page. Falso advertisement
• Can tutor create/update their profile? No, the admin will do it. So admin will be setting there creating thousands of profiles. No automaton at all.
• Can a student send a direct message to the tutor? No, unless a separate form created for each tutor. So, ‘000 of forms needs to be created.
• Can visitor search tutor by location? No, unless the customers know the exact zip code. Otherwise, the location would not work even half of the postcode is provided in the case of the UK.
• The list goes on. 

I would say the Smarthead theme is 2% related to tutoring, while the remaining 98% are basic functionalities which can be found in any free theme available on WP.

fraudsters trading as a company

fraudster trading as a company, about 99% of stuff i got from there was fake, sub-standard, not fit for purpose or very different to as discribed, complaining to support gets you nowhere, you don't get your money bad because themeforest is in partnership with the fraudster to defraud you, you are not allowed to give negative review because it will stop orders from buying thereby themeforest loosing their cut, why is australian police not investigating? why is uk police not investigating? why is trading standard not investigating? why is paypal not investigating? something really stinks about this, what is happening at themeforest and envato group is criminal, it's about time that the law enforcement people around the world do something about it

CAUTION

CAUTION: The reviews on their site are fake!

The staff is very dishonest, when you buy something and receive item that is broken.. you cannot leave feedback for it. The staff instantly deletes any and all negative feedbacks from sellers.

If you go to their site to report it, it will be deleted immediately.. that marketplace is full of cash grabs and broken plugins and the staff knows it.

Stay far away from this marketplace, their scams are being discussed in every major SEO forum if you just use Google search.

Have bought over +20 items within the…

Have bought over +20 items within the past year and half and spent well over 1000$ - Time to change TF to another platform, the reviews are fake and their staff works in hand with the sellers who are allowed to sell crap.

6-7 Negative reviews deleted by a seller within couple of weeks, support does not exist and you are generally just wasting your time with dealing anyone from CS team.

Too bad, was once a decent marketplace and now filled with broken plugins and themes - Read other reviews here, all say the same.

The feedback system is there to mislead the buyers not help them.

As said, there are lots of other new marketplaces nowadays, avoid this whenever possible.

Buyer beware, don't buy anything

Quite terrible customer service and products in general.

The authors and themeforest itself pulls/yanks products all the time with no heads up and no intention of refunding people who actually purchased them. This is quite the norm, not the exception. So essentially what you're paying for today? Is useless next week, month, whichever. To me that's not just deliberately deceptive it's scummy.

Fake reviews, rubbish themes and plugins

I bought a theme from themeforest. The theme is simply rubbish. There is no support. The reviews for the theme I believe all are fake, hence I cannot put my review there. I do not believe there is any legitimate user review on the site. Don't waste your time and money.
