first question today comes from Rob hey

Andy I love your thumbnails how do you

make them it's very simple step number

one borrow a good camera from your

friend that has kind of the field of

death that the feel and you basically

just take up fucking millions of photos

I don't look good in any of these

because I'm not very photogenic so I

take 200 pictures and I got two that I

like and that's what you're gonna do as

well step number two since I didn't like

any of those pictures I'm gonna go with

this one just get it into Photoshop

very simply you copy the image you go to

filter and as you can see in background

I got PC deodorant unmade bed with a

mattress right here and probably your

pictures is gonna look like that as well

go to filter blur Gaussian blur and you

make it blurry make it a little bit

bigger so we don't have the edge right

there take the brush and just pure and

simple just like that oh my god look at

that face just like that we just stepped

up our game we're gonna add some levels

we're gonna add some human saturations

we're gonna add some color balance and

that's gonna be it we're also going to

make the ice pop a little bit just like

so looks like it it's not even Center

we're gonna add some levels add a little

mask and then we're just gonna draw

around the ice because the ice is the

most important part of the picture to

draw that attention in just like that

we have an attention-grabbing face that

is looking good step number three texts

in my case text is very simple make $100

per day with and then we make it nice

just like so easy second thing we need

arrows just grab an arrow off of Google

and use that arrow to point that

something doesn't matter what you're

pointing at just have an arrow in your

thumbnail lastly we're gonna make the

$100 pop just copy both of your layers

merge them together select this click

invert and all of a sudden you have a

blue tone right here and I look like a

crazy person also we're gonna remove

that so basically we just go in here we

remove that and just like so

and just like that we have a

nice-looking thumbnail one single last

thing that we need to do duplicate this

and move it a little bit up so it looks

like it pops out at you so it looks more

attention-grabbing we can also do that

with this arrow so it also looks more

attention grabbing and that is how you

make a thumbnail a few days ago I made a

you do not need to have your own hosting

account so the question is really do you

need to buy Bluehost do you need to buy

a Hostgator before you get billed role

no you do not build wrong has everything

for you just set up and it has

everything for you if you want to use

your own domain name on your builder all

business you can do that as well I have

a few students that signed up to build

on that has done that and bought their

own domain name to make the link look a

lot prettier the standard

mein name that you get with build drawl

is like your email and then build wrong

comm and then D slash and then the URL

that you're gonna have so it doesn't

look as pretty if you want to make

really pretty links you can sign up a

domain to your builder all business

accounts and make everything like that

so it has a more beautiful domain that

you as well how to optimize your YouTube

let's do the account first so he has a

channel header which is looking really

nice I love this marketing mindset and

motivation do helping entrepreneurs

succeed it's a very very good headline

it's a good business vision or question

or that question or quests which a lot

of people are gonna see and they're

going to like that quite a lot when it

comes to videos I can see that your

thumbnail is really nice this is what I

like I like having text on the left that

is very popping and that is popping very

hard and also a face on the right that

is also attention grabbing one thing I

would do is to go into Photoshop or an

editing software and make it a little

bit more contrast II so it's a little

bit like you can see down here you can

see that this is has a lot of contrast

and contrasts pops a lot more and when

there's no contrast

it doesn't really pop that much it makes

the blacks blacker and the whites wider

so that's just a tiny little tip however

this looks good it looks like you have

some good thumbnails and you're always

going to increase and get better and

better and better

doing these thumbnails when time goes by

and if you're if this is your starting

point it's really good but let's see if

the content is good let's see if you got

a hook let's see if you got something to

give away for free let's go into the

getting more excitement in the beginning

of the video

is really going to hook your audience in

right off the bat because the first five

seconds of every single YouTube video is

the most important thing hey what's up
