$5 Instagram Story Advertisement RESULTED IN $90,913 PROFIT


what's up this is Ryan Hildreth and in
today's video I'm going to show you how
I made over ninety thousand dollars
profit from a five dollar Instagram
advertisement now Before we jump onto my
computer screen and I show you exactly
how to build an Instagram advertisement
I want to briefly talk about it because
Instagram advertising is so new so
there's not a lot of people utilizing it
not a lot of businesses utilizing it
just yet and I think that's why I've
been able to see such great conversions
so with that being said definitely after
this video go implement this with your
own business whether it's affiliate
marketing or you have social media
marketing clients or whether you have an
Amazon product or an e-commerce product
this is a perfect strategy to get
conversions for your business get more
sales get more leads Instagram story
advertisements are very engaging
entertaining and it gets people to click
at a low cost per click rate so with
that being said let's jump onto my
computer and I'm going to show you how I
built my Instagram advertisement from
point A to point B set up a pixel and
then get conversions so let's go alright
so we're here on my computer and I'm
going to show you how to build an
Instagram story advertisement now this
is a 15-second advertisement it's going
to pop up on the Instagram stories which
is kind of like a snapchat feature if
you're not familiar with it but if you
are you know 15 seconds so it has to be
a very effective ad obviously there's a
lot that goes into it sales funnels
write your copy what do you say in your
video or your image I'm not going to
talk about the sales funnels or you know
optimizing your sales but I'm going to
show you exactly how to set it up so
that you can start playing around with
it and getting some results like I did
as you see on my ads manager dashboard
we have 229 purchases from my
advertisement okay and the cost per
result was 46
so I was paying 46 cents per customer
which is amazing because this was a
three hundred ninety seven dollar
product okay so the profit margins were
unbelievably huge here and that's the
reason why I'm showing this
advertisement because I'm showing the
one that I got the best results on
obviously not every advertisement is
going to see these types of results but
knowing that it's possible hopefully
this inspires you to start taking action
in building Instagram story
advertisements so with 46 cents per
purchase at three hundred ninety seven
dollars so at three hundred ninety seven
dollars times two hundred twenty-nine
purchases that comes out to ninety
thousand nine hundred thirteen dollars
profit so 46 cents per customer with a
ninety thousand dollar profit margin
pretty amazing so let's go ahead and get
started the reason I like these
Instagram Story advertisements are
because they're so engaging and you're
able to track your conversions now
you're going to know how you're going to
have to know how to set up your pixel in
order to track these conversions
obviously it's going to show you button
clicks you know three six three second
video watch time stuff like that and
you're able to collect data based off
these conversions so let's go ahead and
create our ad okay so we're going to go
here and we're going to go to
conversions now when choosing your
Instagram story advertisement there's
obviously a lot that goes into it do we
want more traffic to our website do we
want more engagement do we want to
spread brand awareness now I've read
I've ran ads Instagram story ads with
reach and brand awareness and this is
great because it's gonna if you choose
reach you're going to reach over a
hundred thousand people with only like
twenty to thirty dollars of ad spend
it's pretty crazy how much you know how
far they spread your advertisement to
the amount of people so the only reason
why I don't use
each that much is because my marketing
objectives are different i want to track
conversions so that i can you know build
my lead base build my customer base and
you know continuously interact with
those people but with reach you're just
kind of spreading your advertisement
trying to getting your name out there
which is fine as well if you're trying
to go viral something like that I would
create reach but for now we're going to
go conversions okay and we'll just keep
our campaign name the same and what
you're going to do is on the top right
here if you're going to have to choose
your your pixel right so I have a I have
a pixel now that's you know I have an
affiliate marketing mattress purchase
pixel but obviously you can choose your
pixel if you have multiple running okay
and you just choose your pixel you
select it and I'm going to show you
exactly how to create your pixel right
after we build this advertisement real
quick and then at the end of the video
I'll show you how to create your pixel
which is the most important part because
you're going to be able to track all
your conversions and so let's just type
in our demographics United States let's
just say we're we have a landing page
with affiliate links to business and
entrepreneurship stuff okay so you know
whether it's hosting for websites
whether it's you know consulting legal
LegalZoom something like that or if it's
books on Amazon like entrepreneurship
book sales funnel books and we have
affiliate links to that we're going to
want to target people that are
interested in business and
entrepreneurship okay so I'll put
business and I also put entrepreneurship
and we'll select that and you see your
audience size is very broad 225 million
all right so let's just say we are
marketing to people who are interested
in email marketing automation right so
we want to narrow our audience we're
going to go type in maybe an automation
software that we have affiliate links to
maybe its MailChimp okay and then we'll
narrow our audience because you see that
there's only one million two hundred
seventy-one thousand people interested
in this type of service so will there
our audience right there
and then we will go to edit placements
you're going to click on Instagram
stories okay so we've narrowed our
audience we're only targeting people
with Instagram stories as you can see
the audience went down to 64 million
that's great
daily ad budget you can set it to
whatever you are comfortable with I
would I recommend if you have a small
budget start off at five dollars per day
and then scale up when you're
comfortable when when your ad is
actually converting and working you can
scale up as you get more sales then you
can keep all this is the same conversion
7-day click it's fine we're going to go
to continue and this is where you're
going to want to link your business page
that you're going to mark it with okay
so you link that I had a video okay I
think videos are going to get a lot more
engagement if you can get in front of
the camera or you can get a custom video
made for you on Fiverr something really
cheap and simple but engaging I think
those are going to convert better than
images that's just from my experience
maybe your experience might be different
but videos in my experience convert way
better so I would do a video you click
on that and you're just going to drag
upload your video and it's that quick
you put your website URL and then your
call to action and you're going to
confirm and send your order and they're
gonna you know Facebook is going to take
maybe five to ten minutes to approve
your ad and once you have it running
it's all set to go now how do we set up
our pixel what does that mean so we're
going to go here click on the top left
hand corner go to pixels
you can go to setup pixel then you're
going to go to copy/paste code and it's
going to tell you step by step how to
install your pixel okay this is going to
be the code that you're going to embed
in your HTML header it tells you exactly
how to do that if you have a certain
website like if you're using Hostgator
or wicks or Squarespace it'll tell you
how to do so so you could just copy
paste that embed that into your HTML
header and then if you want to install
an event code which is going to track
your conversions you're going to click
on down arrow on purchase and you're
also going to copy paste this into your
thank-you page okay so when someone
views your thank-you page they obviously
purchased your product your service
maybe you want to do a different type of
you know you different different type of
event code you could do that as well but
for now I wanted to track purchases
obviously I change this value to 397
which you can do once you copy and paste
it and Facebook is going to be able to
so for everyone that purchases your
product or service or whatever it may be
Facebook is going to be able to track
that data they're going to be able to
see what type of people are clicking and
purchasing your product and they're
going to retarget your ads to people who
will take similar actions so this is
very powerful Facebook is the most
powerful tool in advertising so if
you're not using conversions if you're
not setting up your pixel I suggest you
take advantage of it because Facebook
does the rest for you you you know you
can set up your ad to target a specific
type of person but if you want your ad
to convert better Facebook will optimize
it for you with the pixel so I hope that
