and we're gonna show you talk about
exactly how we made 5 million dollars
through what personal branding personal
branding Dan do you want to introduce
yourself since you haven't been on my
channel before this is my first time
meeting Dan so yeah Dan
hi I'm damn DaSilva I'm the owner of Dan
de Silva the YouTube channel and I also
any common dude it's a massive ecommerce
well over a hundred thousand people
actually so awesome
I'll link his channel down below so you
can check it out but how did you get
started with and yeah I guess we'll just
all kind of talk but how did you get
started with EECOM and then personal
branding like how does that helped you
make you know millions of dollars so
e-commerce I got started first in
e-commerce in the drop shipping route I
mean it made some really good money off
of it at first and then I decided all
right well it's time I could teach
people about this because actually in
the first like 30 days when we created
one of our stores we went from like zero
500 dollars a day and then on the 31st
day we sold that store for twenty-seven
thousand so and that was all in like 31
days where we still made all the profit
from the 30 days and then I realized
wait a minute this is super easy and I
can potentially teach people how to do
this and grow a personal brand just sort
of just from Shopify and I got involved
and I think I think I saw an opportunity
here and that's kind of what I do is I'm
an opportunity so I see opportunities
and then I'll take action on it is
Shopify was like this thing that nobody
was really talking about but there were
so much traction in there
so I became the first person to go out
there and if you see those you know like
$100,000 you know part 100k Shopify
series
I was the originator of those so I came
up with the concept of hey how about we
create like a little series almost like
a TV show where people get hooked in and
essentially I have to keep making them
waiting like cliffhangers and keep
watching making them watch my videos
again and then it came to a point where
I was like okay cool that it worked
phenomenally well by the way so if you
can ride something like a wave and and
deliver in a way that's super unique
you're gonna do phenomenally well like
somebody who gets into a Bitcoin right
now
and delivers it in a really unique way
in there certain way to and know how to
monetize your you're gonna do really
well so anything that's really kind of
on you up and up is very easy to tap
into if you're unique about it or you
have a really good person out like Tana
has a really good personality so that's
kind of how I got started then I decided
alright this is cool but I can't sell me
I can't sell Dan to Silva so I want to
build something because the way I looked
at it too was I was like alright I found
it really interesting how people like
Elon Musk
and Bill Gates and whatnot they can go
into any company and just absolutely
dominate it because they have a name for
themselves and I noticed something I
noticed like this little trend now again
I'm not discrediting how super smart
they are what I'm saying is that it's
like a celebrity backed company which
just gives them the next level give them
the cutting edge so I realize okay if I
want to build up a company to sell it
out what kind of company would it be
what would have under the company and
how can I do it separating that from dad
and so and that's how he comp news was
born and then he calm dudes in like in
six months had even faster growth then
Dan to sell oh because my personal brand
was attached to that and it had like
this this massive brand wrapped around
it which was econ dudes and I was
promoting it it blew up I mean like
50,000 subs and I wasn't even trying
and I just uploading a few videos every
other day and that channel had faster
growth than the day of the silver brand
but it was cuz it had you know kind of
myself backing my other company and I
can sell that out so yeah I can sell
outi calm dudes if I wanted to for x y&z
million and and they're not buying Danis
over there Vani companies are buying the
assets along with that so that's kind of
that's kind of how I looked at it and
kind of the importance why personal
brand is huge because without my
personal brand
I couldn't have gone out there and
started econ be successful awesome so
what I got from that is this kind of
like a summary of my perspective on what
you said it's like find a trend
something that's really trending people
are searching for people want
information on and kind of
build your personal brand upon that
trend and then what you did was you
built damn DaSilva up on Shopify right
and then you created your own e-commerce
business econ dudes and just kind of
built two things out of that one yeah
right okay awesome
so I guess Tanner you want to give yeah
mine was different so instead of going
out and trying to be well I guess I was
unique in some aspect we're not trying
to create something no just doing what
already worked but with my own little
twist with my personality and the
transparency because yeah I was always
watching these guys and funny thing you
guys will be able to relate is I would
always look and I see like Alex Becker's
each and a payment would be a couple
thousand dollars I'm like that's insane
I can't imagine but now that to me so
it's super weird thing but I'd watch all
these guys I'm like I want to see the
back end I want to see their bank
accounts I want to see how they do taxes
what it is I want to see exactly
everything if most people don't show so
that was kind of the approach I took and
it worked really well I didn't have to
stick to a certain niche mm-hmm like now
everyone asked me to vlog and what not
to so they really come for the
information from the start and then
start coming for you like you said when
you back a brand or doing that they're
coming for you and hoping the
information to they trust you they know
you like if you once heard something or
like back something baked I was probably
good friends backing it then yeah so
just from there I mean one of them I
thought that's all I did and then just
the daily uploads definitely I remember
that first youtube video that I brought
you on and I guess you know we kind of
had a similar start with me I wanted to
document my journey with social media
marketing and like going out and getting
clients and in kind of what I learned
through that trend right social media
marketing was is kind of a newer trend
that people are you know trying to get
more information on and that's kind of
how I built my personal brand on top of
that along with my agency and you know
multiple other businesses under that so
all right Dan what's your do you have
any we should talk about how much we've
actually made okay I made it full name
in the title which parts to do that to
be yeah yeah okay so so far this year
I've made a little over 2.2 million for
my personal brand okay so how much have
you done you've done you said over four
over four and revenue yeah
so and that's collected with EECOM dudes
so I won't say so much that's more so
just andis OVA alone because I siphoned
it all back to econ dudes this year so
around four four and a half yeah so we
made a conservative conservative
estimate for the title this we know we
can get mad and typically you could add
my half-a-million bump into that and
there we go exactly rounded up six and a
half seven million but so much as
possible with it it's crazy yeah
definitely so any last tips for someone
looking to build a personal brand maybe
they haven't started yet or they want to
get started what's the first platform
they should be on to build a personal
brand YouTube what are you doing YouTube
YouTube and you just start daily
uploading you already saw your self yeah
your subs doubled per day already nor
for my gay or not you like one hundred
fifty hundred sixty per all right so if
you want to make millions in your 20s
start a YouTube channel start your
personal brand and start providing value
