in today's video guys I'm going to show
you how you can do Facebook retargeting
as a beginner with a small list so one
of the biggest problems I see with
retargeting is people don't know winner
should start retargeting just start up
straight away and I'll show you how to
do it effectively because the problem
with a small list though like if you've
got 20 people in retarget or 50 or 100
they're gonna see the air consistently
over again and it can actually get your
account banned if they if enough people
say they don't want to see that ad
because that that's a negative effect
now with big big retarget lists I
usually do you know from doing leads
I'll do leads or I'm doing Shopify will
do website conversion Add to Cart no
center frequency rule or I'll do traffic
but someone actually mentioned this to
me while ago and I've been testing it
recently and it's perfect this is
perfect for people that have a really
small list and don't want to run the
risk of their account getting banned
a beginner with Facebook and you want to
do beginner-friendly retargeting none of
no advanced stuff you don't like
necessarily need it just do this thing
that I'm going to show you inside this
tutorial okay so the first thing you
want to do guys is going to reach now I
am testing this right now it's working a
very very well for me it's actually
working really well but I usually do
traffic okay but traffic is a little bit
harder to control frequency but I'm just
gonna go to UM reach and was gonna you
just do something like T product target
product and go to continue if you follow
these dip guys who are retargeting
campaigns will be good so this is my

days on average for a small list so that
means that once every three days just
turn my phone sign crazy all day so that
means every three days that person is
going to get one impression sorry guys I

person sees your ad again okay so this
is very very effective and very very
beginner friendly for anyone that has no
idea how to be retargeting now you don't
need to worry about sinop I said a bit
cap I don't worry about that that all
you need to do this is the most
important part of this tutorial has just
do your frequency cap okay because your
account will get banned over and over
again if you keep showing your ear to
the same person people consistently and
I do recommend guys when you do your
when you do your custom conversions do
like a 14 day or a 7 day or actually so
for this one I think that's a it's in a
7 day or for today I come in what this
one is it might be a 7 day oh then we
gonna read about 10,000 visits a um
every 7 days so to work it out so okay
I've got 7,000 people in 14 days I was 7
that it'll be 7 or 14 I lose 7 or 14 so
in that particular one I would probably
want to put my own frequency this is a
large list guys so in this particular
case I might do like twice I'm sorry
once every one day I'm trying to like
like this is the tutorials for our
smaller list but I might do one every
two days or for example for this one
since it's 7,000 people put a 7 days
I'll probably go out there and do
something like website clicks instead
but let's just say for example this is
the list and it's and it's 20 people
every 7 days ok then I would go out
there and I would kind of calculate I
would do maybe every three days I'll do
one every one every three days that
means that people the people going to
see my advert twice okay all three times
maybe now I know I said that a Texan
average of people to see your advert
seven times or your product seven times
to make a purchasing decision however
well Facebook edits
you don't want to like keep showing or
add consistently because you will people
will get pissed off and they will think
it down okay they will give it a
negative effect and it affect your ads
so you know you can risk it if you want
and you can go out there and do more you
can do two to every three every three
days that'll be one a day to every three
days it's really up to you guys I just
like to be careful because I've had like
seven accounts banned this year and it
was Facebook told me it was because of
that reason my retargeting was getting
way too many negative effects I hit them
up about it okay so now I do frequency
caps or I do our frequency rules and my
other conversions so just work out guys
um just make sure you do your list of
like 30 days 14 days or seven
because well you know you might have a
180 day list as well but when you're
trying to push products consistently to
people if you have a list that's 180
days that's a hundred and eighty days
they're gonna see you I add over and
over again even if you have your
frequency cap at one a week they're
still gonna keep seeing that over and
over again and there's only a point
where they'll look dude I don't want to
buy your product stop hassling me and
then you're gonna get the negative
effect again okay so just do like seven
days 14 days 30 day ones and you should
be good especially of a small list okay
actually small he's probably a lot
longer than 14 days but just try and
keep like I think that's the biggest
mistake people make is they go out there
and they do a 180 day list and then they
and they have no frequency careful teeny
type and then for a hundred and eighty
days your as your listeners building
consistently consistently these guys are
consistently seeing your ad and you're
actually wasting money as well because a
lot of them don't even want to purchase
and you consistently shine it over and
over and over again now if I do a
seven-day list and I do a frequency cap
but like they say to every three days
for example I might lose sales because
I'm not putting my products in front of
people as much as I probably should
because they're gonna go out of the list
in seven days but I'm risking not
pissing people off sorry I'm not risking
pissing people off and I'm not risking
getting my account closed okay so when
you're when you're retargeting guys
control of your
see is quite important whether you do a
frequency rule in your power editor but
that's advanced stuff guys you don't and
this was dead alright so very
straightforward stuff here hope that
doesn't confuse you too much but just

make sure your list is good and then
make sure you have a frequency cap of
some sort otherwise you're probably
gonna get a band account and then go to
continue guys you've everything to worry
about much of this let's the Advanced
Options there and this is very basic

you can do a headline which will be down
here with the headline or it says
headline so DB h2 there and the news
feed description is this here and use
the description and then you put your
website URL in here okay and then you
can add a call to action button or just
go shop now okay call to action button
and then go to Facebook pixel and most
of the time guys this is actually going
to be turned off that's on now so just
make sure that is turned on because this
is a track everything for your tracking
is very important with retargeting most
of the time you retard is gonna make you
money back I think I did a retargeting
in Econ me see the day it's been like
seven dollars of main back six seven
hundred so you're always really gonna
make back a ton of money but just in
case make sure you're tracking okay and

retargeting campaign on Facebook easy
and simple you don't need to you know
reach is probably the guys it works like
you're gonna remember that
reach traffic conversions there's not
much difference
was retargeting because either way
everyone's gonna see the ad anyway
because the conversion type doesn't

can sometimes get you can just give you
clicks and stuff but when you're doing a
retarget those people have already been
to a brand anyway so if you have a list
of 50 people and you go out there and do
conversions and pick purchase it's not
really gonna work for a while because
Facebook is just gonna even if you do
reach or traffic it's just going to put
the product in front of them anyway it's
only 50 people I don't hear dirtbike
guys is a dirt bike that rides around
here every day that pisses me off so I'm
I live on a farm so yeah so you don't
necessarily need to put conversions or
traffic for retargeting
beginner-friendly guys reaches all you

don't worry about split testing or
anything like that just go out there
make sure your frequency is good I'm
actually not retargeting to like a list
that's 180 day tracking or usually keep
retard or keep advertising the same
people over and over again and there's
two things that are gonna happen you can
be wasting money and second you're going
to be annoying them possibly and they
could affect your ads in the negative
