all right I'm about to reveal the best
way to make money online in 2019
especially if you're a beginner and
you're just starting out okay now this
is personal branding now you've probably
heard this before but again personal
branding is something that is very under
tapped and in fact just in one year as
you can see these are just a couple of
my products in one year from this one
hundred sixty-seven thousand dollars
okay in the year before I probably made
less than 20 grand all right so that was
a complete beginner to personal branding
but I was consistent with it and I'm
gonna show you exactly how you can
achieve numbers like this if you're
consistent and you actually go through
with this okay again I started off broke
you know I worked in the fast food
industry for a minimum wage I wasn't
anyone special I was kind of awkward I
didn't know how to get in front of a
camera or anything like that and it took
me some time to develop the skill sets
okay a lot of people come to me and say
Ryan have you get in front of a camera
how you how do you do all this you know
how do you build a subscriber list I
started off with zero I started off with
nothing and I was someone who is not
socially talented or anything like that
so as you can see you know I worked that
investment bank in hopes of landing a
corporate job for 40,000 a year and from
the previous slide as you can see I made
you know five times that in one year in
my first year of personal branding okay
I did tutoring gigs on in my spare time
for extra cash now this isn't something
that you need startup capital for it is
free to start a personal brand you can
create an Instagram account a YouTube
account and you don't need startup
capital now obviously if you you know
want to quit your job or you want to you
know drop out of college or whatever it
is like I did you have to do something
on the side in order to you know fuel
those needs like having a
roof over your head and eating some food
so I did you know tutoring gigs and in
my spare time I worked you know
part-time jobs stuff like that and I
sold all my belongings online because I
needed just a little bit of capital to
feel good about you know investing in
myself or or you know paying rent or
doing stuff like that so I'm gonna share
with you some of the books and courses
that changed my life because I would
have been on the corporate nine-to-five
route rat-race job you know lame income
right working for a boss if I hadn't
have stumbled upon these books and
courses okay
so one of the books one of the first
books that really inspired me to launch
digital courses and get into the info
product internet marketing space was
launched by Jeff Walker now he was
someone who basically launched a sales
program online and did one point five
million dollars in one day okay and at
the time that was probably the biggest
internet marketing launch of all time so
he you know when in the record books
write the history books and he wrote his
own book called launch and I actually
launched I used these same principles in
each and every digital course that I
have launched okay so this is something
you can follow to the tee and get
results with like I did alright again
I read expert secrets this is a book
written by Russell Brunson he is the
founder of clickfunnels which is a
software company website builder and you
know one of the smartest internet
marketers in the space and I knew that
if I wanted to make money online
especially with the personal brand that
I would have to learn from people who
are doing things online in making moves
and making a lot of money online and
providing tons of values so these were
just a couple of books that I read and
that I highly recommend now can books
alone help you make money online yes
they can help you make money online but
I would say that you can't learn
everything from just ebooks alone it's
good to get experience from mentorships
in course
as I spent thousands of dollars on
marketing courses in mentorship because
I wanted to work one-on-one with someone
I wanted to get a deeper dive into what
it is that I need to do to be successful
okay and with courses you get access to
the instructor sometimes not all times
and you just get a step by step formula
of how to do it okay yes there is free
information online you can go search
online and get information for free but
the problem is when you're just getting
started in you're a beginner you don't
know what to search for okay and what
the courses offer is a structured
step-by-step method as well as golden
nuggets that aren't online that you
can't just go out and find okay so
that's why I invest in courses and in
mentorship because I know that if I can
learn one golden nugget from someone
successful that I look up to I could
apply that to my business all right
so before we get into the strategy which
I'm going to show you I'm gonna go over
and basically show you kind of the stats
on my youtube channel and kind of show
you how to get started with this and how
to gain traction and some actionable
things you could do today but I first
want you to understand the hype cycle
okay now this is something that everyone
will go through but in order to be
successful with personal branding and
making money online is you have to
continue even though you know things get
hard even though things get bleak and
seem almost like you know impossible
right and you'll notice on this cycle is
when you when you first get traction
with your personal brand meaning you're
gaining viewership either on YouTube or
Instagram or Facebook whatever it is
whatever platform that you choose to go
with and I recommend you dive deep on
one platform and get really good at it
but once you start getting some traction
you're gonna get all excited right
you're gonna get excited things are
gonna start feeling good and looking
good to you but when things get hard
maybe your viewership goes down or
you're you know you don't know what
product to create or maybe you come into
some hurdles right that is when
you're truly going to be tested and if
you can push through that okay that is
where you'll come into this plateau of
productivity is what it's called because
you're gonna know what you to do you're
gonna have the systems and you're gonna
have that mindset to push through and
keep going okay so let's go ahead and
you know I want to go over YouTube
YouTube is the number one way to make
money with a personal brand okay and let
me explain why because there's a saying
that a picture is worth a thousand words
and a video is worth a thousand pictures
okay so Instagram is in my opinion in
overcrowded platform I think you can
make money on Instagram I've made money
on Instagram but I don't think it's the
best platform for 2019 okay I think that
it's overcrowded and I think that it's
gonna be extremely the barrier of entry
is gonna be a little bit higher than
YouTube in my opinion okay I think
YouTube is still an under tapped
platform and it's constantly growing
okay
YouTube is responsible for 37% of all
mobile Internet traffic think about that
and you know eventually it will be up in
the 50 60 70 percentile range
okay so especially in the business niche
you can make a name for yourself and put
yourself out there you don't have to be
an expert you don't have to be you know
and that's one thing that's why I
recommended expert secrets it's about
sharing your journey and constantly
learning because if you if you're not
constantly learning you're not going to
know what to promote or share or teach
people and give value right in order to
give value you have to have some sort of
knowledge that other people don't and in
order to get that knowledge you have to
spend time developing a skill set or
developing that knowledge by reading
books and courses alright so this is my
youtube channel as you can see you know
in my niche the ad revenue is not gonna
be very high this is about you know
1,900 bucks in the past 90 days not very
much right is it a nice extra source of
income sure you know any money is great
and you know I can reinvest this all
back into ad
which I do but know that ad revenue is
not going to be your main source of
income okay the main source of income is
going to be based off of digital courses
affiliate marketing okay or your own
product those types of things and in
order to gain traction you have to be
consistent here on YouTube and I'm going
to show you one way to do so okay so if

your videos for so if you don't have any
idea of what video to put out there go
learn something go watch another popular
video about internet marketing or
Instagram or Facebook ads or anything
like that right go learn that skill set
go try it out on your own and then film
it film your experience document your
experience what were your results it
doesn't matter if you spent five dollars
on ads or if you spent five hundred no
one's gonna care they just want to see
results and they want to learn and get
value from you okay so I ranked number
one for Instagram affiliate marketing
very niche word okay because there's not
too many people you know putting out
content on Instagram affiliate marketing
I use this keyword tool right here as
you can see every single month almost
two thousand people search for this key
term so if I could rank number one which
I did I'm guaranteed you know somewhere
around two thousand people watching my
video per month
those are potentially two thousand new
person subscribers and potentially two
thousand people that will purchase one
of my digital products or purchase you
know a software through one of my
affiliate links right so what you can do
here on vid IQ is find keywords with
high search volume somewhere above I
would say above 50 or above 40 so we're
in this green range I know this ones in
the yellow now it was in the green when
I you know first made this video I don't
know
I went down a little bit but that's fine
anywhere above I would say anywhere in
this yellow to green range okay and
competition score anything in this green
range is good so anything below 35 okay
go make a video and rank for those
keywords as you can see I didn't just
make one video I made you know two
videos okay
I drank tonight op and three videos
right here and I think I have one more
four videos okay so if you've noticed
that your video is ranking for that
keyword don't just make one make four
videos and don't don't care that you
know it might be a little repetitive
because not every single person's gonna
see your video one person might have
seen one video and maybe maybe they go
watch the next one because you share a
little bit different information in
there not every single one of these
videos is the same exact words okay I
switch it up I show new strategies that
kind of thing but as you can see you
don't need hundreds of thousands of
views for this keyword this person got
thirty six thousand which is more than
my video but I ranked number one so it
doesn't really matter about how many
views you get it just matters about
watch time duration you know how many
people engaged in the comments that kind
of stuff so this is a quick way to get
actionable results go download video you
find three keywords that you can rank a
video for and start talking about those
keywords start talking about how can you
provide some value to someone and the
major thing is you have to know that
it's you don't have to be the best
Instagram affiliate marketer to make an
Instagram affiliate marketing video am I
the best Instagram affiliate marketer
heck no there's probably way better
people out there than me but I know that
there's people searching for this
there's people wanting to learn
something new and I know that I can
teach you know something that I know
that might be new to someone else and
that's what you need to go in with this
mindset of not thinking that oh well I'm
not an expert that's fine make a video
oh I don't have any money that's fine
you don't need money to make a video you
could film it on your phone you could
film it on your computer whatever you
know so go out there download video find
three keywords make videos on those
topics and don't really mind what other
people say just put it out there that's
the thing about personal branding you
have to focus on providing value to
others and not focus on haters or what
other people say because those people
they don't matter and in fact they're
gonna engage with your video maybe they
leave a hate comment or something like
that that's gonna actually boost your
video higher up in the ranks because
people are engaging with your video okay
so you know it's gonna be a hurdle to
get over as far as this whole I'm not an
expert but there's tons of people
providing value here I can guarantee
that every single one of these people
has you know provides some sort of value
in their videos whether they're an
expert or not
so hopefully you gained some value from
this again if you're gonna start a
personal brand I highly recommend
