guys is we're going to use the platform

teespring and we're gonna create a

product now teespring allows you to

create your own t-shirts and mugs with

different artwork and it's a really cool

platform it's been around a while you

guys can create iPhone covers tank tops

leggings you can upload your own styles

and sell them on the Internet you can

sell them on social media on your blogs

anywhere and so I'm gonna take you

step-by-step and show you how you guys

can do this and how you can find some of

the best most popular products what's

already selling out there on social

media so you guys don't have to think

about oh what should what kind of shirt

should I make or you know what kind of

design should I do I'm gonna show you

how you can it's kind of like a little

stealth technique a little secret

technique on how you guys can spy on

other people's products to see what's

really working so you don't have to

start from complete scratch okay

so let's jump in here now there's a

couple sites where you guys can go of

course the first one is buzz sumo and

this is going to allow you to see

different posts and things that people

have posted on social media and which

items that have had the most engagement

in the most shares and the most

Pinterest shares so and the other one is

going to be Facebook of course

there's some different techniques on how

you guys can find viral products viral

shirts that are already popular so these

are some really cool little strategies

let me show you all you're gonna do is

go to buzzsumo you guys can sign up it's

have a free they have a free trial

there's no credit card or anything like

that required I'm on the homepage right

now so if you guys go to buzzsumo com

just click on this big image here and

then so once you log in or it's gonna

look something similar to this you guys

are gonna start to search for items in

different topics but let me show you

exactly how you're going to do this now

so for this let's just pick something

out here so how about cat

the cat niche is pretty big so I'm just

going to type in cat shirt and then

click on search and let's see what we

got

all right tats and

tee-shirt hoodie tank top over here

where it says Facebook engagements

here's what I want you guys to do is

just click right here so you can sort by

the posts that have the most engagement

okay so you're going from the highest

down to the lowest you see that so now

let's just see here

cute multi-cat t-shirt all right let's

go ahead and click on that now you guys

you want to look for something where you

have a design or some type of t-shirt

that's not too complex like this one

might be a little bit too complex so

what I'm going to do is just go ahead

and pick out another one black cat

Appreciation Day t-shirt that looks

pretty cool to sketching see this is

much better this is a lot it's a lot

more simple and this is something that

we can recreate and I'm going to show

you guys how to do that on the video

looks like there's some text here on the

back black cat Appreciation Day August

17th so that this shirt might be a

little bit it got a it has a lot of

engagement but it might be a little time

sensitive or a little seasonal so let's

just go ahead and pick something else

better yeah let's just come up here and

search for let me just put dog dog shirt

and see what we have

okay I'm going to make sure to sort by

the most popular

all right justice for you see neuter

your dog shirt it's going to click on

that

nuture your dog shirt it had over 9,000

Facebook engagements 99 Pinterest shares

so total engagements about nine and a

half thousand so that's pretty good and

it looks something like this

alright it's pretty vulgar and but we

can recreate the shirt guys this is

something that people are sharing

something that they like they might find

it kind of funny and they are telling

their friends about it and so we can

recreate this shirt we're not going to

copy it exactly we're gonna switch it up

a little bit so in order for you guys to

do this to create your own shirts all

you're gonna need is to use canva this

is a free platform that has a bunch of

different templates that you guys can

use now you just go to canvas canv a

comm you guys can sign up for a free

account and that's going to give you

access to all these different templates

I'm going to show you how you can make

your own t-shirt right on this video and

first let's go back over to teespring

and once you sign up for a free

teespring account or maybe you already

have one come up here to start designing

and that will load the the different

categories and different items that you

guys that you guys can use for printing

and what we're gonna do on this video is

choose the apparel which is down here

because we're going to make a t-shirt

okay so here's the interface on you know

where you guys are going to apply your

graphics and text to the shirt now we're

going to use a black shirt for this so

right over here I'm going to make sure

to just select black and this is just a

regular t-shirt it's nothing special

they have premium materials but we're

just going to keep this simple for this

video now far as the size if you look

right here we need to make sure that we

know that we know the dimensions of the

coverage or the area where we can place

our graphic set so according to

teespring

the printable area is eleven point nine

by seventeen point nine and that's

inches so that's the coverage area

that's the printing area so we we need

to know the dimensions because what

we're going to do is over on canva once

you log in you're going to click this

button up here that says use custom

dimensions and when you do that you're

gonna have this little prompt here it's

going to ask you to enter the width and

the height and you're going to want to

change this to inches now let's go back

and see once more

11.9 by 17.9 okay

so I'll type that in eleven point nine

by seventeen point nine inches and

design click on that design button

okay here we go so this is the canvas

that we're going to use to design our

t-shirt now we need to change the

background because this is going to be

going on a black shirt so over here on

the left click on background and then

click on black and that'll change that

now we must add some text so I'm going

to click on the text button over here

and that's going to give me some already

pre formatted typography examples and

you guys can just pick out the one that

you think that's going to work the best

I'm not gonna get too picky here I'm

just gonna find something that something

basic that will work even if it's not

perfect this looks pretty good so I'll

go in there we go

and I can change the size of this of

course I can make it a little bit

smaller

and some extra texture that we probably

don't want so I'm just going to select

that and then press Delete on the

keyboard

okay there we go

and then if I position them ahead and

zoom in here for you guys if I position

my mouse just on the sides here I can

read there's like a bounding box going

around the text and you can resize the

text area because you don't want it

going you know too close to the edges of

the shirt we kind of want to keep it

more in the center of the shirt there

okay so let's get the text all right

balls don't make a man let's go ahead

and put that in there

all right balls I'm good and then

or was it neuter your dog okay

you

all right not quite sure if I want to

just make that on the same paragraph

there balls I'll make a man new to your

dog

all right kind of a humor sarcastic type

thing here it's a little bit big let me

see if I can resize this down a little

bit or change the text and what I'll do

is just zoom out

you know let's make this a little bit

smaller because we want to leave room

for a paw we're gonna find a little paw

graphic

maybe a little bit smaller

there we go so balls not make a man

neuter your dog okay alright just want

to make sure I got the spelling right

now we're gonna put a little paw and

next to the right there so what you guys

want to do is go over to where it says

elements I'm going to zoom in oh wait

okay

so go over where it says elements and

then type in you know whatever you're

looking for so it could be a cat or dog

or fish or something whatever I'm gonna

type in Paul and see what comes up

you

now some of these are not going to be

free there's a premium version of

Campbell you guys can use but there's

also many free clip arts and stuff so

okay so here's a paw right here this is

pretty good just for this video I'm

gonna drag this over and now this is

also black so you guys are not able to

see it but they have filter options

inside canva so I'm just gonna leave it

right there and now I'm gonna go over to

filter and let's just turn up the

brightness a little bit and then I'll

just click outside of that and that

should apply yeah there we go

there's some other advanced option

that you guys can look at but this is

pretty good for now I'm gonna resize

this down so we're gonna have the title

of the shirt and then right next to that

we're just gonna have like a little paw

okay all right so that looks pretty good

and we can make the neuter part like red

if we want to

so I'm going to just go change that to

red

all right cool make sure everything is

sinner looks about where I would want to

see the text on the shirt kind of

imagining that this is the shirt here so

what we're gonna do with this from this

point guys is we're going to download

this graphic so come over here where

says download and then choose P jpg as

the file type

and then click on download

and this should download to your

download folder on your computer

okay so it's finished downloading

and I have it over here on my computer

so there it is now we must get this over

to teespring here's how to do that let's

go over to - spring and then over here

you're going to want to click on art

I'll just go ahead and zoom out a little

bit

so click on art and then right here it

says upload your own click on that and

then you can actually drag the image

from your desktop right over to this

little box here and then that's going to

upload it

there you go oh it looks pretty good

okay all right now I can see the

background of the image so teespring has

this cool feature that allows you to

remove the background it's right over

here on the left side just click on

remove background and then now you can

see it just kind of like blends in with

the background so that looks pretty nice

okay so what do we do from here guys

well we need to set this up and crate or

have some way where people can go to

teespring and purchase the t-shirt okay

but there's a couple things that I want

to go over real quick so this the base

cost is going to be ten dollars which

you guys can charge like you know

fifteen seventeen twenty dollars because

you don't want to make a profit with

this so click on sell this shirt now

over here it says profit estimator T

Springs going to want to see at least

three sales before they print this shirt

okay because it's just not really worth

it to them I guess you know if you're

only going to sell one shirt you might

as well just buy the shirt and maybe

ship it but they want to see at least

three sales come through and that way

they will print the shirt if you don't

meet that threshold of three sales then

they will refund the customer okay so

the lowest you can put here is three for

the target for the target sales and then

so you guys what you're going to do is

you're going to just fill out the rest

of this information here and and then

click on next

but let's say what I'll do I'll go ahead

and just hide the print area here and

we're gonna take a screen shot of the

shirt because I'm going to show you guys

how you can promote this on Facebook

just as an example there's other traffic

methods that you can use I'll I'll just

I'll probably just create another video

for that and show you guys how to do

that but for this video let's go ahead

I'm gonna use this little software

program I have called Skitch and that

will allow me to just grab a snapshot of

that right on the browser and then it'll

show it here and then I'll save that

okay cool so from here what you guys are

going to want to do you can check out so

you can go to next and this is gonna ask

you some questions you need to create a

campaign you need to write a description

of the shirt create a campaign title and

then the category of the shirt well what

is it is it isn't it an apparel is it a

phone case it's a t-shirt so you can

just select apparel and then the

campaign length how long you guys want

to run this how long you guys think that

you're going to sell at least three

shirts as you know you guys can sell

have goals to sell more shirts if you

want to but for this example three

shirts so you can run this for five days

if you want to or even a week before you

start chipping now URL you guys are

going to need to create your own URL so

you can drive people to teespring so

they can see the shirt and order and

then after that you guys there's some

display options right here they want to

know if you're a robot after that just

click on launch you get the launcher

shirt it's that simple guys okay so this

is absolutely free and now to promote

this here's one thing that you guys can

do I'm going to show you another method

to well let's see what we got time for

let's go over to Facebook I want to show

you really quickly before I show you how

to promote this shirt on your Facebook

page I want to show you how you can find

other popular products other shirts that

have also went viral in the market now a

lot of people use this this URL

shortener and when they post their

products on Facebook ads so what you can

do you can see I've already done this

but if you type in there's a you-all URL

shortener called bit dot ly

normally people call it bitly so if you

type in bit ly a lot of people are using

that URL shortener in their ads so after

that what you can do is just type in

space search or if shirt and then type

in like something like free shipping and

then press ENTER and see what comes up

and what you guys are gonna want to do

is you're gonna want to look for posts

that have a lot of engagement okay a lot

of people sharing a lot of people

commenting so here's one right here and

then go ahead and click on that here's a

shirt now this is something we could

easily make with canva and and we can

even select something like a grey shirt

on teespring and just put our own design

twist okay you can't now you can't

copyright the words and stuff but we can

come up and we can create a similar

design because we know this is pretty

effective there's a lots of people that

really like this they're showing it with

their friends and their family and so

that goes viral I mean that's more

exposure that we are not paying for so

that's what's nice about that so use

this use this technique type in bit ly

shirt free shipping and that's going to

just give you show you some different

results of different posts that people

have made and also the engagement of

those posts you can also type in things

like shop now there's another one

okay here's another one right here

here's another shirt that's been it's

got 7027 comments so look for that

engagement guys look for those ones that

people are really engaging with all

right so how do you post how do you

promote this on Facebook I'm going to

show you one way you guys can do it

which is the simplest way and let's come

over here I'm going to select my

Facebook page

all right

and then right up here you guys are

gonna want to enter a title so you're

gonna just put like cute

cute dog shirt you know free shipping

for a limited time whatever title that

you guys want to use you can you can

just you can use that Facebook strategy

that I just showed you to get ideas on

what to put on your title okay so

whatever is already went viral make a

title similar to the title of the title

that they used so to get the t-shirt on

here it's fairly simple all I have to do

is just come over here and this is the

little screenshot that I added for even

better results guys I would at least

order one shirt have the shirt shipped

to you and then take some nicer pictures

with your camera they found that those

work much better it just looks like it's

in more of a natural environment and the

sales and the conversions seem to be

higher so after you put the shirt on

there and you've got an image of it you

can make a title and put a link to the

teespring store or to your teespring

campaign click on boost right here and

this is going to boost your post to

other people now you can reach out to as

many people as you want but the minimum

is like around $5 and you can reach up

to like 1600 people per day with 5 bucks

so that's not too bad now over here it

says audience click on edit and you

select the st. then the age range I

would say maybe for something like this

I would probably choose like for a dog

shirt I would go with women maybe

somewhere between the ages of 20 I would

say most most women probably have a

credit card already buy at least 25 25

is 65 maybe even a little older maybe 65

and then right down here guys is you're

gonna select the interest so let's just

put in like dog

rescue dog let's see what else we got

here scroll down a little bit

how about dog lovers so dog lovers

I'm go ahead and click on that and add

that to the search there's some other

ones in here that I have and so what I

would want to do is I will just go ahead

and delete those because we don't want

marketing mixed in with dog lovers

that's probably not going to work very

well so I have dog dog lover here so

pretty good size market it says the

potential Reach is like 200,000 people

and you can add more interests here and

also be aware of the different locations

United States Canada United Kingdom are

going to give you the probably the best

results for a campaign like this and

after you have all that click on save

and then when you guys are ready to go

it's going to give you a preview after

you have posted the ad so it's not

really showing you a preview at the

moment but you guys can kind of look

down here at your estimated reach you

can set your budget so let's say if I

wanted to do twenty dollars a day that's

gonna give me a reach up to fifty eight

hundred people per day so likes a lot of

people are going to see the ad when you

guys are all ready to go just click on

set budget it's going to prepare the ad

to be posted and to be promoted on

Facebook okay so there you go guys

those are some ways where you guys can

find out what's really trending in the

market at the moment and what's you know

what people are really responding to in

terms of you know on Facebook with with

the viral ads that have been posted and

the other and other posts that I've been

on Facebook you want to really pick

something now that is already working

instead of trying to you know reinvent

the wheel go out there it doesn't matter

what topic it is it could be golf it

could be fishing there's so many

different niches out there people are

making t-shirts for hunting shirts I

mean all kinds of stuff so hope this was
