go over how affiliate marketing is going
to change in 2020 now honestly 2020 is
going to be the best year ever for
affiliates for digital marketing and all
that stuff right and the reason being is
because more and more people are coming
into the onto the internet right there's
a lot of third world countries there
there there's literally millions of
people every month gaining access to the
Internet for the first time more of us
are coming ingrained to it right we're
giving you some more online buying
online shopping so this is all good news
for you right but also keep in mind when
there's more people on the internet that
also means that there's more competition
there's more marketers they're smarter
marketers right they're smarter
affiliates so that's why in this video
I'm going to show you five things that
you can do to stay ahead of the
competition and really just outperform
any other affiliate marketer out there
no matter what the niche or anything
like that okay so that being said I'm
gonna jump straight into this video and
talk about those five things you need to
know for affiliate marketing in 2020

guys so that being said let's get
straight into the video alright guys
welcome back so like I said I want to
show you five things you can do and
apply to your business this year to stay
ahead of the herd ahead of the
competition specifically with affiliate
marketing right so these are five things
that I'm trying to apply more in my
business this year so hopefully it can
help you out as well inside of whatever
niche or products that you promote as an
affiliate okay so anyways the first one
we're gonna go over here is selling
value over results okay so to explain
this a little bit you know most people
nowadays write the basically they well
the way they sell their products mainly
like horses and stuff is they're always
selling the
right how you can make this much money
right how you can do this this and this
right it's always the result based
actions and although results do motivate
people to buy they do motivate people to
take an action it's actually not the
strongest motivation for someone to
actually do something right so when it
comes to losing a certain amount of
weight or making a certain amount of
money even though that's what that's
what you think people actually want it's
really not right what we really crave as
humans and this is like this is
scientifically proven back in like the
1900s that makes it's explained in the
hierarchy of needs triangle that what
really motivates people to take an
action is them feeling like self a field
or them feeling confident right or them
feeling safe right or them feeling like
they're gonna save time or they feel
like they have a certain status right
it's all about how you make them feel
okay so even though the result like I
can make $10,000 per month you know a
lot of people market their stuff like
that even though that kind of has some
effectiveness in it it's better if you
can really talk about the training how
it's going to make them feel is it going
to give them more confidence when it
comes to doing their Facebook ads is it
going to save them time right if you're
promoting a product that's gonna save
them hundreds of hours of time and
research right make sure you tell them
that make them feel how the product is
going to make them feel right and that's
really what you want to do and your
copywriting your videos and all that
good stuff so really when it comes to
20/20 I would just try to apply that to
your copywriting to your ads your videos
all that stuff to your sales pages and
the reason being is because you know a
lot of people are just way more
skeptical with with so many offers being
advertised at us all the time a lot of
people just don't believe you right and
if they have any disbelief they're
they're sure as hell not gonna pull out
their credit card and buy so you have to
make them feel how the product is gonna
be and not just be like a spammy result
marketer like a lot of people out there
are nowadays so anyway that's the first
thing you want to try to apply to
affiliate marketing in 2020 now the
second thing
is gonna and I talked about this a
little bit last week and really what
this is is is trying to sell more
valuable high ticket products right you
know there's so many spammy products
online there's so many so much stuff on
Clickbank you know whether it's in the
dating niche the weight loss niche all
that different stuff right what I would
do if you're trying to really make
affiliate marketing business a long-term
business model then tried to promote up
trying to promote products that are
going to be around for the long term
right they they really have a long term
vision right so for example software's
like click funnels are builder all those
are good long term companies and you
know really the second part of this is
not just promoting valuable products
that people are actually going to use
for the next 5 10 years right and it
doesn't have to be like these digital
marketing software's there's all kinds
of different products just making sure
it's a good product right that's the
first thing and then also give yourself
a value letter right a lot of people are
trying to make their money by day tube
by day three by day four even by day
thirty right you got to look at this
remember if you're in this for the long
term treat it like a long term business
and that's really going to give you a
lot of competitive advantage because if
you make your whole funnel with a value
ladder meaning right when you're as an
affiliate marketer the first thing you
do is you collect a lead right so that's
the first step that's like the first
step of your ladder right the next thing
maybe you sell a seven dollar product a
two dollar product a little ebook
something like that right and then now
they kind of get a taste okay and then
the next step may be you sell it a
recurring subscription product all right
so you start selling that to them and
then in the back end you have more
higher ticket products and maybe people
don't even see those products until they
go through three months of your funnels
or products or whatever right so just
making sure your phones are really long
right you have a long-term mindset
towards your funnel and when you're
putting emails in your sequence when
you're working on your business you're
actually building in rather than just
throwing stuff off and direct linking
people to offers right really focus on
building your
list and build a huge asset in your
business and that's really what's gonna
separate you because you know once you
get all that asset once you get that
huge asset done right maybe it's a
six-month long funnel of different
products you know that's gonna give you
a huge competitive advantage over other
people just coming into this because
they don't have that right so you got to
really think to yourself how can I
separate myself because like I said
there's gonna be a ton of people coming
on this internet within the next five
years and that means that there's gonna
be more money for us and more
competition right so the best thing you
can do is get really good at marketing
and just think about the long term okay
so that's number two selling valuable
products mixing in some high ticket
stuff having a value ladder making your
funnels longer let's move on to number
three and what that is gonna be is
bonuses right I love bonus I love
bonuses as an affiliate because really
what bonuses does is it just gives that
people a little push right little push
to buy the product because if you don't
know as an affiliate something you can
do is when people are you know you've
been sending people to a product and
your email sequence or whatever or maybe
in your bridge video and basically if
people just aren't fully like willing to
take the action yet right maybe there's
just something holding back you offering
some good valuable bonuses for free
right that's that really pushes a lot of
people to take that action because you
know they're gonna they can go buy that
product from straight from the website
or from another affiliate but if you
offer the bonus that's that's another
thing that's gonna separate you from all
the other people coming on right that's
how you're gonna separate yourself and
you know a lot of people what they'll do
is they'll just try to like kind of BS
the bonuses right so they'll go you know
buy some peel-out PLR products and stuff
like that they'll just you know find
random bonuses online and they won't put
a lot of time or effort into them and
really what's going to separate yourself
like I said this is what this video is
all about is offering high valuable
bonuses right and a lot of people don't
know like you can literally ships you
can ship products to people if you want
maybe
could be your bonus especially if you're
selling like $1,000 product and you want
to spend five I mean you know I don't
know $300 on a bonus you know you can do
that right not all companies allow that
but you just gotta read their terms
right most companies dude you can give a
$300 bonus if you're gonna make $1,000
and if you're giving something that's
$300 value right people are gonna be
willing to spend the money right people
are gonna be more willing to buy the
product so you know just offering some
good you can do digital products as well
whether it's courses training a Facebook
group and ebook right maybe it's just
PDF cheat sheets you can even do book
summaries like you just got to be kind
of creative with it but what I would try
to focus on is doing three really good
high value bonuses that people would
actually spend money on right and that's
the key if you can actually say like
like oh this this person was gonna buy
this anyways but now they're getting it
for free as a bonus right that's really
what you want to do so making sure that
your bonus also off matches up with your
niche and your offer and all that stuff
right so anyways that's the number three
thing that I'm trying to do more if I'm
trying to work on and hopefully you can
apply as well again you can do that with
any niche like I said before so the
fourth thing right is the little thing
called CRO okay so if you don't know
what that is just stands for conversion
rate optimization and again if if I'm
still talking foreign to you right
basically what that means is just trying
to up your conversions right just trying
to optimize your funnel so really what
you want to do is you want to map out
every piece Weaver funnel four for
example in my office back it back there
I have a huge whiteboard that like
covers the whole wall and I literally
have every step of the funnel right
every email I send you know anything
like if I automate people to a different
list in my email sequence right so I
have the whole entire thing mapped out
and what that allows me to do is focus
on one little piece at a time right so
the first step of my funnel is traffic
right so where does that traffic go they
go one place and that's my single opt-in
page my one page
say right so that's the first very boy I
want to test I only want to test one
variable at a time so I can run an a/b
split split test between two of those
one-page websites and I can see which
one is giving me a higher opt-in rate
right so for example if variation a is
giving a 30% in variation B is getting a
36% well now I'm getting 6% more leads
with variation B so now I want to change
variation B to control a right and now I
get a new variation and I test that and
you just keep on doing that until you
get a really really high opt-in rate and
then you can do that with the next step
of your funnels of Philly
is your bridge video right on your
bridge video after they opt-in you're
kind of introducing yourself maybe
you're delivering the lead magnet and
you want to recommend a product on that
you want to give a one-time offer so you
can actually there's um there's a
software called Wistia right it's a
little bit expensive but they do have
some free videos you can upload first
you can split test videos on there super
cool right so it'll split test the video
for you and you can see which video are
people watching the most which video are
they engaging the most right and you can
split test those videos okay and then
you can do that with your emails all
like literally every piece of your
funnel you constantly want to you know
apply conversion rate optimization just
trying to make it convert higher and
higher testing new things testing
different angles testing different
offers all that good stuff okay so
that's gonna be number 4 what I would
really just focus on you know just
trying to up your conversion rates on
every single piece your funnel alright
number 5 the last one is gonna be video
of course right 2020 right everyone's on
video even in 2019 you go on Instagram
you go on Facebook you go anywhere you
immediately see a video right so what I
would try to do is not just like not
just doing videos but really trying to
practice videos right on my whiteboard
right here I have three things that I
look at every single day and I practice
every single day and what those three
things are is lead-generation right
copywriting and sales last video okay so
getting better on video practicing my
video and honestly guys even if you have
to make a video that you're not gonna
post no one is ever gonna see it just
pull out your phone pull out the camera
get comfortable talking on it right get
comfortable and really get in the video
right try to get some energy right
that's probably one of the things I need
to work on is maybe I need to bring a
little bit more energy to the video so I
really try to you know when I edit my
videos I'm trying to see you know I'm
literally trying to take notes what can
I do better for next video what can I do
better so it's all about that constant
improvement kind of like conversion rate
optimization right constant improvement
of your technical pages but you also
need to do that with yourself right
trying to improve your copywriting
skills trying to improve your video
skills and the last thing I had was
getting more leads right so anyways guys
those are the five things I would really
try to work on for the year 2020 when it
comes to affiliate marketing because
like I said a lot of people are coming
on to this internet actually millions of
people per month which means that you're
gonna be able to make a lot more money
and there's gonna be a lot more
competition right so ask yourself do you
want to be the person that's you know
kind of stuck back and holding back or
do you want to be the person that's
dominating and crushing this affiliate
marketing game and if you do I would try
to really practice and master these five
things for affiliate marketing so
