hey what's up this is Ryan Hildreth and
in this video I'm gonna show you the
timeline of how I went from zero to over
a million dollars from my personal brand
in 2017 okay so obviously a lot of work
okay work ethic is one of the secrets
but it's probably not a secret because
it does require a lot of work to build
multiple businesses and you know go from
zero to generating over seven figures in
a year okay but there are a lot of
Secrets that I want to share with you
and these are just tips and you know
tips and things that I learned from my
mentors and I I consider those secrets
because you know they don't teach you
that in school right these were books
that I read about business and
entrepreneurship and spirituality and
lots of different things that aren't
generally taught in the public you know
these are books that I picked up on
Amazon and I got from other mentors of
mine so let's go ahead and start out
from the beginning okay so this lets
I'll kind of give you my background and
you could probably relate to this this
was in December I'll tell you where I
was at in December of 2016
okay because that was going into the New
Year December 2016 I was you know I was
making a little bit a little bit of
money in the stock market a couple
thousand dollars trading stocks and
options primarily options I was working
at an investment bank as an associate
wasn't making that much I had to drive
all the way out to LA which is like two
and a half hours in traffic both ways
which was crazy I had to be up at
literally like 4 o'clock in the morning
just to try and beat traffic on the way
there and I knew that that wasn't
and I didn't know how I was gonna do
that be able to do that for the rest of
my life so I had to figure things out
quickly I had a new girlfriend that I
moved all the way over to California she
lived across the country so we were in
about $15,000 worth of credit card debt
and you can maybe you can relate maybe
you can't I don't know but we had a
credit card debt at the
and you know because moving was
expensive she live in a house over there
we had to move all her stuff over here
take a long road trip we drove across
the country that was really fun but
basically at the time in December 2016 I
made the decision that I was going to
drop out of college okay I was currently
I was at Cal State Fullerton studying
business finance I was gonna drop out of
college I was going to quit my job at
the investment bank because I wanted to
be a financial advisor but I decided I
wanted to pursue entrepreneurship
full-time okay so basically I was you
know went up to my girlfriend who is now
my wife we just got married we had our
honeymoon in Cabo just the other week
but I told her I said hey honey um you
know what do you think I'm gonna drop
out of college I'm gonna drop out of my
job I'm gonna quit my job possibly make
zero dollars for the next three years to
build a business and we have $15,000
worth of credit-card debt how does that
sound
and she was like let's go for it so she
was super supportive of that and I was
cool at the time she didn't even have a
job because you just moved over here so
if you're scared of getting started you
know you could probably relate with
where I was at I was very scared I was
frightened and I think the only reason
that I really went for it was because
Tatiana my wife you know was so
supportive and said you know what let's
just go for it and and we'll do it
together and we'll figure it out
all right so definitely a lot of a lot
of the entrepreneurial journey that I
decided to take was inspired by her
because she was very supportive I had
you know a good support system right I
moved out of my parents house my my mom
definitely wasn't sorry mom but it she
definitely wasn't supportive of the
entrepreneurial journey she wanted me to
get my degree she still tells me to go
back to college and get my degree but
obviously we're way past that so that's
kind of where I was in I had a
supportive partner but we had credit
card debt and we didn't you know and
some of this debt to was from buying
courses okay
I wanted to learn about entrepreneurship
and online marketing and one of the
courses I took was actually if you know
Tai Lopez I took his social media
marketing course and that is kind of
what inspired me to get started okay
because I didn't really know that you
can you know utilize social media in
such a way I didn't know that there was
advertisers on social media so what I
did was I started my social media
marketing agency and that's when I
incorporated in January okay and
incorporated my social media marketing
agency and I got my first three clients
in January okay that took a lot of work
a lot of footwork a lot of rejections I
approached over 300 businesses whether
it be through an email cold call or
door-to-door which I preferred doing
door-to-door but sometimes I had to
knock out like 20 emails just just to
try but I landed three clients and
they're each paying me $1,000 each so I
was making 3,000 a month plus a little
stock profit but you know some months
are up and down but I was basically
relying on this income okay and then my
girlfriend finally got a job too so we
were like we're okay we're starting to
like be able to pay our bills and start
slowly paying off this credit card debt
so three clients and then I started my
youtube channel that was the biggest
thing so I had a YouTube channel and I
had some investing videos up that I
posted in 2016 in like December November
but I wasn't really consistent with it I
had like 20 subscribers they're all my
friends and family and my videos would
only get like 10 views so I really
didn't you know consider that having a
YouTube channel but in January of 2017
is when I just started to upload videos
about my journey with social media
marketing okay and that's where my
channel took off I saw so not a lot of
you know but I saw I was watching a
course review on Ty's course social
media marketing course and Hayden peddle
was made that first course review and I
was like wow okay he said the course was
good I already had it
but I wanted to see like you know if
other people were having success with it
and I saw his channel go from 200
subscribers to 2,000 in one day and you
know be you know I creeped around on
Facebook I try to find his email
somewhere and I think I found his email
on Facebook and I hit him up I said hey
send me your number so I can call you
and I called up Haden I said hey man I'm
from California my name is Ryan
honestly I I watched one of your videos
and I didn't want to ask you a social
media marketing question but I wanted to
ask you like how your YouTube channel
went from 200 subscribers to 2,000 in
one day how the hell was that possible
and he said hey man well there's a lot
of people searching for Ty's horse
review you should probably make a video
and I that day I uploaded a video and my
channel went from 36 subscribers to 200
in the next day to a thousand and the
next day after that to two thousand and
then I just kept gaining subscribers to
what I do I committed to making more
YouTube videos and documenting my
journey on getting clients basically you
know taught a lot of a lot of Facebook
advertising techniques on my youtube
channel February I got three more
clients so I was making her a little
over eight thousand a month which was
pretty much six figures and then which
was great that's when I started paying
off like almost all of this credit card
debt and then I did I borrowed a book
okay so this book is the big secret okay
this book I got from Tanner J Fox okay
you probably know him he's a big
youtuber Amazon seller this book was
sitting on his on his desk
and me and him were friends we met in
college back in the day in business
calculus and I was like hey man can I
borrow this book he's like yeah I never
read it you can you can just have it and
I said okay I read this book in one day
and it was by far the craziest book I've
ever read this guy Jeff Walker who wrote
launch
he has his product launch formula
basically he did
a 1.5 million dollar lunch he made 1.5
million dollars in one day
okay selling an online digital product
and that amazed me I said Wow how can
someone sell an online digital product
and make that much money in a day so I
studied his techniques in his book one
of his first programs the digital
products that he launched was a stock
market program teaching people how to
trade stocks I said wow I know how to
trade stocks and options I make money
doing that you know I'm not the best at
it but I do make a little side income
from trading stocks and stocks and
options how do I effectively market it
to be able to you know launch a digital
product his first course did three
thousand dollars in the day now that's
life-changing okay three thousand
dollars in a day that's what I was
making like from three of my clients in
a month of really really hard work okay
and that's when I decided in March to
create stock market stock market course
okay basically my first product launch
teaching people how to trade stocks and
stocks and options and make an income
from that and when I release that I
followed the product launch formula that
Jeff Walker talked about in his book and
I did three thousand dollars in my first
day that from that point on my life had
changed I never made that much money in
a day you know it was just amazing I was
like wow I made three thousand dollars
in the day that's crazy if I could
replicate this like I can make I can
make it possibly a million dollar
someday you know and that and that's
when I decided I was going to you know
build an online business to around
education okay
online education a lot of people I was
purchasing a lot of courses a lot of
other people out there want to learn
about different topics that aren't
taught in public education system so
there's a market for it and I said wow I
can really you know make an impact in
that market and teach a lot of people
about things that they didn't know about
and different ways to you know build a
business generate income whatever
whatever
maybe and that's when I said hey man
Tanner you need to make an Amazon course
and he said I don't know maybe maybe and
jumped on my YouTube channel we did one
YouTube video together he loved it and I
was like dude like you have so much
value to offer Tanner I met up with
Tanner and this was like right before I
borrowed the launch book from him but I
met up with Tanner and he pulled up in a
zo6 and I hadn't seen him in like six
months so I'm like damn dude like
awesome car man like you made it and
he's like yeah dude I'm making like 20
grand a month from Amazon I'm like wow
that's amazing so when I did my first
product launch and made three thousand
and a day I said Tanner like it would be
awesome if you taught people how to sell
on Amazon like you do making 20k a month
like as a 20 year old that's crazy
I guarantee it'll do well and people
will be so happy with it like people are
so happy with my stock market course you
should definitely do it so he did that
you know and I end it and I told him hey
man like you give me a little affiliate
Commission to like I'll promote it to my
channel and tell people my experience
with the course like I'll take the
course and and kind of go through it I
ended up creating my first Amazon
product it had some sales and then it
ended up falling off and not doing well
but it was an amazing course and it was
very fun to build an Amazon store so I
ended up affiliate marketing his course
- and making $80,000 from that now that
was huge for me because I was making
money from my social media marketing
agency okay I was making money from my
stock market education course right so
online education and I was making money
affiliate marketing the Amazon FBA
course that Tanner did so I was making a
lot I mean a lot more money than I ever
thought I would MIT I was making over
six figures in a month you know in two
months the span of time I was making
about fifty grand a month
at the time and fifty grand a month was
more than I've never seen that much
money in my life my parents never made
that much money
my parents parents never made that much
money I came from a middle-class family
like you know I got hand-me-down clothes
and stuff like that so
that was just crazy I was like holy crap
we're onto something like I need to
continue this online marketing building
an education business online and also
building my agency and like in doing
affiliate marketing which is great too
so at the end of March I got I treated
myself to my first car at first car
which is a Shelby gt350 I was super
stoked about it but I was also scared
because I was the biggest auto loan I
ever took out but you know I was making
enough money to be able to pay for that
car
the monthly on the car was like a
thousand bucks barely put any cash down
but you know it was cool it was a cool
car in April this is when I decided hey
we're making you know I'm generating
over eight thousand a month from social
media marketing you know that equates to
six figures in a year and my business
partner up in Canada Hayden peddle who's
now you know he is now my business
partner but he was the guy I called
about YouTube to see how this channel
was growing I said hey man like why
don't we make a course about social
media marketing giving our own spin on
it things that we had to learn by going
door-to-door right like some sales
skills some things that we didn't learn
from the other courses that we took so
that's when he flew down from Canada for
a week to spent time at my place
we literally busted it we work seventy
five hours on this course just filming
editing uploading for a whole week
because he only had a week to stay here
and that is when we released our social
media marketing course which was awesome
we've had so many successful students in
that course but we did seventy-five
thousand dollars in the first week which
was pretty insane again like more money
than it ever been making in my life now
I'm like you know have over a couple
hundred thousand in my savings and it
was just awesome June came around and
okay so after I released that course and
I was doing well affiliate marketing
Tanner's course I said man what other
products can I affiliate market that's
when I got into like more CPA marketing
Downie clickbank stuff like that and I
was learning how to do that type of
marketing in June I did my first ten
thousand dollar month with affiliate
marketing without you know Amazon the
Amazon course sales so ten thousand
dollars in a month and I said damn okay
this is awesome I could definitely teach
this people could definitely make money
from this and not a lot of people know
about it so that is when in July Tanner
and I were released in affiliate
marketing course together because he was
also like a you know big affiliate
making tons of money with a different
Amazon affiliate like he was doing I
think it was a jungle scout or something
like that in a couple Max bounty
products you know I said hey man let's
release of course together and and also
apply some techniques that we learned in
launch which was having affiliate
partners JV partner stuff like that in
combining each other's email lists
because throughout all this time I was
building an email list of people that
were interested in buying educational
courses teaching them how to make money
online in different ways so we both had
big lists and that was the biggest thing
about you know being an internet
marketer and releasing digital products
is that you need a good list in order to
release a product so we release this
course and it did 76 thousand dollars in
one day that was the biggest course
launch I've ever done it was awesome I
got to do it with you know good buddy of
mine and business partner Tanner and we
did amazing with that and we had a lot
of successful students one of our
students Anthony Alfonso you could look
him up he's like he's making over I
think over thirty to fifty thousand a
month with CPA marketing affiliate
marketing but this was one of the first
courses that guy took and he is crushing
it so August that's when I decided to
really like step up my car game because
I'm a I'm a car guy I loved Hot Wheels
when I was a kid like I collected all
these Hot Wheels like I was obsessed
with cars I would go to the Indy 500 go
to the Indy race in Long Beach the Indy
Grand Prix
you know all these awesome races and
that's when I decided to get a Ferrari
four or five eight so my fiance and I I
think oh she yes she was my fiancee at
the time we decided to go to the Newport
Ferrari dealer and check out a Ferrari
we're just looking we're just going to
look and we went in and she sat in one
and she's like this one there I was like
oh man we're I guess we're leaving with
a Ferrari today so that was my biggest
car purchase and it was awesome owning
that car amazing cart so that was really
fun that you know like to be able to do
all of this this is one year to remember
that so when you're on your journey to
make a million dollars like it's gonna
look something like this either
more spread out because it's gonna take
longer or you're gonna Jam pack your
year with stuff just like work work work
work work work there was never really
there was never a break in here I was
work work work work work
and that's that's how I knew I was gonna
get to that that point and my goal was
to make 200 thousand right so I 5x that
and then in November I've invested a
little bit in cryptocurrencies and you
know start doing some content on my
channel about crypto and then in
December December was my first $250,000
month so I made a quarter million
dollars in one month
in December okay so that was my entire
year right and everything started adding
up and snowballing right like as I was
learning a new thing and making money
from that it was just snowballing and
snowballing and I was making more and
more and more money but what helped me
throughout this whole process like
releasing digital products and even some
of the affiliate marketing was through
my personal brand okay and that is the
big trend of 2018 okay that is the big
thing in 2018 and it was big even before
but not a lot of people are taking
action on this that is why you know
someone like me just an average dude
just an average guy drop out of college
quit my job
but commit to the work and put in the
work for my personal brand is
along with all of the stuff that I'm
learning to be able to generate
$1,000,000 so I wouldn't be able to do
these big course launches without my
personal brand it gives that extra touch
that extra bit of trust like people can
actually take my course and then get
mentorship for me personally they can
message me I can help them out like
one-on-one you know what I mean so
personal branding is the next wave
there's a lot of people you probably see
tons of advertisements now like people
getting and getting into personal
branding like building Shopify stores
like you see all these gurus and stuff
like that and that's awesome
that means there's more people getting
into personal branding but I want to
teach you the exact formula this is just
an overview of what I did but there's a
lot more in-depth strategies like on how
I did my email sequences how I built my
list how it did Facebook advertising for
my brand personal brand how I you know
built my personal brand to over a
million dollars in a year okay and I

a personal brand now you need to learn
how to leverage it monetize it grow it
provide more value and I show you the
