talking about how to get traffic to your
affiliate links a lot of people have
been following up with me over on
messenger through email asking me how
can I get traffic to my affiliate offers
this is the biggest problem that people
deal with online number one getting
starred in the number two getting
traffic to their affiliate links so
we're gonna be covering that here in
this live today so if you're just
jumping on let me know exactly where you

do Q&A at the end of this like we always
do I know this is a little bit more of a
late night Q&A for most of you guys out

as the title says I'm going to show you
in this specific video how you can start
getting traffic to your affiliate links
traffic is of course the lifeblood of
your business it's not just about
traffic but getting the right traffic

start funnels how you doing my man we

on the live today so who's excited for
this life I think this is going to be a
interesting life for a lot of you guys a
lot of you guys think that it's all
about the secret traffic source out
there something you know Josh probably
isn't telling me about there was some
secret loophole out there online that I
don't know about and he's gonna reveal
that in at this video today it's
actually not going to be what you think
it's probably gonna be the exact
opposite but I'm gonna start off by
saying that when it comes to getting
traffic to your affiliate links it's
more about knowing your audience number
one most people out there alike just
give me the secret traffic method just
give me the platform I should be
marketing on
the platform does not matter that your
marketing on if you don't understand
your avatar aka who you're marketing to
okay so when you go out there and you
try and post on Facebook you try and
post on YouTube you you're running email
traffic you're going to fail miserably
because you need a message that
resonates with your target market I want
you to write that down
you need a message that resonates with
your target market that kicks them in
the bruised knee that acknowledges their
pain points and then shows them exactly
how to solve their problems and this
takes skill set it takes influence it
takes really understanding that other
person on the other side of the computer
the other side of the smartphone and
really understanding their struggles on
a deeper level for example this live is
a perfect example of understanding what
percent of people out there fail because
they don't know how to get traffic and
it's because they don't have a message
that resonates with their marketplace
and it's because they are not consistent
in their business so number one you need
a message that resonates you need to
understand your avatar right you know
understand your avatar you need to have
a message that resonates and you need to
be consistent if you do not have those
three things you will fail you will
struggle so if we're talking about email
marketing a lot of people will send a
few emails out maybe they'll rely just
on the autoresponder sequence that they
were given by the Guru and they wonder
why they're not getting you know their
emails opened why they're not getting
their emails to click you know a lot of
people will help you get started but
then it's up to you to take the baton
and build a relationship with your
audience so the question is if people
are not opening what can you do to get
people to open your emails you need to
change possibly your subject line
test numerous subject lines maybe on
that first email you're sending out
maybe it's ending up in the spam folder
this is a problem a lot of people have
which leads me the conclusion of maybe
you need to change autoresponders maybe
you need to change the body of your
email maybe you need to change out the
links there's various different reasons
why your emails aren't being delivered
in the primary folder and it's up to you
it's not up to your mentor it's not up
to anybody else
it's up to you to figure out the
solution as to why people aren't seeing
your stuff why they're not seeing your
emails why they're not opening okay and
all by the way I'm seeing your guys's
comments I will get to your comments at
the end of this once we get through this
rant so bear with me here so email
marketing testing different subject
lines testing the body testing your
links re or is it because you're sending
people straight to a Clickbank offer in
your email instead of sending people
maybe through a bridge fate page first
so you want to send people to a bridge
to not only make it so you your emails
don't get flagged as spam but that's
also going to help you build a greater
bond and a relationship with your
audience a bridge is pretty
self-explanatory it bridges people from
what they want what their problems are
to the solution aka the offer so if you
can demonstrate your knowledge of the
offer that you're promoting if you can
you know give your testimonial of that
specific product and then bridge people
to the product then your your chances of
creating sells is going to increase
tremendously okay so if there's one
thing that you can take away from this
live to generate more traffic to get
more leads and more cells in your
business who the heck are you talking to
because if you're trying to talk to
everybody you're talking to nobody I'm
gonna say that again if you're trying to
market to everybody then you're gonna
end up marketing to nobody your message
is gonna be ambiguous it's not gonna
resonate so let's go ahead and let's
like follow kind of a mock sort of
campaign that we would go with here so
let's say that we are promoting somebody
give me a product out there it could be
your weight loss product it could be a
crypto product it could be anything let
me know out there and we'll kind of
create a scenario around this to number
one determine who the avatar is and then
you know how to create the message and
then obviously how to start driving
traffic using that message because
chances are you guys are posting
Facebook ads you're posting a bunch of
things that aren't resonating and you're
just copying everybody else when you're
copying everybody else it's not going to
do you know anything for you
so downloading a shipping app okay I
want a specific niche though niche
shopping so if we're talking about
shopping so specifically if we're
talking about shopping okay click
funnels this is a good one that's pretty
targeted so who's our avatar and click
funnels I made a video I think a couple
days ago might have been even yesterday
about how to start marketing click
funnels and what I did is I showed you
guys my my computer screen and I walked
you through the different phases of
determining your avatar when it comes to
click funnel so let's use that again
because that's a great example but we're
gonna tip pick one specific audience
within click funnels so who needs click
funnels number one who would be
interested in click funnels it's a
funnel building software right it helps
people streamline the sales process
online
I see Christine said me but who are you
are you an affiliate marketer are you a
network marketer are you a consultant
who are you exactly once we can
acknowledge exactly like who click
funnels could be for
and it could be for everybody right it's
for stay-at-home moms if they want to
get their cooking recipe out there they
want to sell their cooking recipe it's
for teenagers if they want to show
people how to you know start becoming
better at fortnight maybe they want to
improve their game they're offering
coaching and they're leading people
through a click funnels funnel to sell
them on coaching you know it could be
really anybody but but I'm still talking
about specific avatars through these
different types of people you know so
we've got like network marketers they
need funnels they need to sell more of
their products online you have people
that have e-commerce stores if they're
selling you know products through
e-commerce click funnels is a great tool
leverage if it's b2b if it's b2c if it's
another SAS company out there right
these these all these different people
they need a funnel to sell their stuff
so what you want to do is I just listed
off a bunch of avatars aka an audience
of people so if it was for example the
network marketing crowd what are they
typing in online where are they hanging
out online right like when they're going
to Google what are they typing in to
find a solution to their problems that
click funnels would solve what would
they be you know thinking at any point
in the day how old are these people what
are they where what keeps them up at
night when you can acknowledge these
attributes when you can acknowledge
these features of of your audience
you've got it made when you can explain
to your audio audience their problems
better than they can you've got them and
you don't need a whole lot of traffic to
do this you know when you have such a
good message now to get the traffic you
need that good message so now that we
know that we're marketing to network
marketers what are their biggest
problems where their biggest problems
are the fact that they're sick of doing
hotel meetings a lot of them or they
don't want to do
because maybe they're shy and they
didn't know that they would have to do
this to build a business maybe their
prospecting strangers maybe they've
exhausted their warm list offline and
maybe you you know they need to be
educated on the online marketplace and
why marketing online is the way to go so
now that we've acknowledged a few of
their problems we could say okay they're
sticking out doing hotel meetings
they're sick of prospecting they're sick
of hitting up Aunt Betty
friends and family they need to find a
way to reach more people so part of the
solution is an online presence instead
of an offline presence once you get
online there's different things they
need to learn right they need to learn
how to drive traffic which is what we're
talking about today they need to learn
how to set up an email autoresponder
they need to learn how to set up a
funnel right there you go they need a
funnel to send their traffic to to get
people to buy their stuff so now that we
understand the Avatar their problems we
then understand the product and then we
bridge the problems between you know the
the what the customers you know problem
is and what the solution is which is the
product so you need to know once again
you need to know the avatar ok you need
to know what the avatars problems are
you need to have product knowledge and
you need to be able to bridge the gap
between that customers problems and the
product once you can do that and you can
demonstrate that through a video just
like I'm doing right now to you guys
through a blog post through an email
people will buy from you people will
find your message the reason why people
aren't clicking your ads on Facebook is
because you have the wrong message
you have the wrong audience you don't
understand your audience you're not
clear on it okay the reason why people
aren't clicking your emails are opening
your emails is because you have crappy
subject lines it don't resonate with
their
or they just don't give get them to open
you know your stuff so you need to be
always testing these different things
while simultaneously taking a lot of
action taking massive action boatloads
of action if you're not testing new
emails every single day you're not
sending out an email every day you're
not testing subject lines every day
you're not tech testing all those
variables I talked about you're gonna
fail miserably if you're not putting out
consistent content on YouTube on social
media you're not doing that daily at
least three or four times a week you're
going to fail and it's okay to start off
at a point where you don't know your
target market so what you would do is
ask them what they want ask them what
they want I I see your network marketer
what's your biggest struggle well I
can't get consistent cells every single
day I've exhausted my warm list well
then what do we do we go out there and
we find out how to solve that problem if
we don't already right so we need to
fill our cup first we solve that problem
once we solve the problem we can now
help other people solve that problem as
well but it's really about it's not
about you this isn't about how much
money you want to make this isn't about
this has nothing to do with you and and
copying and pasting and clicking and
testing a headline a color of a capture
page those things do play a role but
what's most important is the message in
front of all that stuff okay what are
people seeing first and do they resonate
with that message and if they do they
will buy from you people buy for me
because I understand you guys I know
what you're struggling with I know what
you're going through I know the
overwhelm I know all the YouTube viewers
that you're listening to I know you're
trying to decide what niche do I go into
do i do ecommerce do i do real estate
investing do i do Shopify what do I do I
get it I completely get it okay and I've
got different videos
saw those different problems you should
be doing the same thing for your market
okay find out what they want ask them
what they want send out a survey and
then give it to them if you focus more
on what your client your customer wants
and less on finding the secret traffic
source then guess what the traffic is
going to come because all you're doing
is are putting out a message at the
resonates what'll happen is you'll go
live on Facebook you'll go live on
YouTube you'll get that one person that
resonates with your message and guess
what will happen they'll share it right
they'll like it they'll comment that
will increase you know your reach of
that specific piece of content so the
next time you put out a piece of content
as well you're gonna get more reach and
so on and so forth getting the right
traffic is not a one-and-done thing it's
not I need the secret traffic method
with the secret interest group in all
these different things no it's you
who are you as a marketer who are you as
a person are you growing yourself are
you focusing on learning about your
market every single day are you
developing the communication skills
needed to succeed are you developing the
influencer skills are you reading books
on marketing like what are you doing
every single day to get yourself closer
to the ideal lifestyle that you want and
the reality of it is is it takes work
it's gonna take work it's gonna take
trial and error the people that stick
around long enough and the people that
are consistent enough are the people
that are going to win in this industry
okay so I hope this video resonated with
you speaking of resonance I know it's
probably not the answers that you're
looking for when it comes to getting
traffic but remember that it's all I'm
gonna say this again it's all about the
avatar who you're marketing to and it's
all about the struggles that they're
dealing
take a moment take 15-20 minutes write
down the age of your avatar write down
their name write down what they wear
write down their problems okay and then
create a marketing message based around
those problems and link those problems
bridge those problems with the solution
which is whatever product that you're
promoting okay so I'm gonna do now is
I'm going to take some some questions
you guys have some questions I know
we've been getting people that would
rather ask questions versus pay
attention to the video which is probably
one of the reasons why you're failing
too so if you guys have any questions
that relate to this live had somebody
asked having to promote high ticket
products I got plenty of other videos
that show you how to do that it's
following the same methodology that I
just taught you here today though
following the same exact process you can
sell anything high ticket low ticket
without any extra effort doesn't matter
the cost if you just truly understand
your markets problems you can explain
their problems better than they can
you're always gonna win so how do you
get money to invest in yourself look
around your house what do you have the
sell around your house quit watching
cable TV cut your cable bill in half go
most somebody's lawn find out how you
can you know contribute to your
neighbors maybe they'll they'll pay you
don't wash their windows mow the lawn
like I said you know it's all about
being a resourceful that's what it's
about
brainstorm used your brain brainstorm so
do use Facebook to determine where to
find them you can use yeah I would go in
forums you know if you go on Facebook
and you're talking to people that are
friends of you on Facebook do they
actually even want what you have to
offer
don't force somebody to buy some
something that they don't want so go
into Facebook groups that are related to
your market go into forums that are
related to your market related to your
niche ask them the questions directly
what are you struggling with
read other messages and on Facebook and
forums you can get a lot of answer
answers from other people's messages how
do I know what to market pick a niche
they could be any niche just get started
pick one niche and you know start doing
your research find out what they want
and give it to him it's not rocket
science you guys I know you're like okay
what is this process of finding my right
market there's got to be a market that's
just for me there's not it's about
getting started you're gonna go through
a number of niches chances are those
niches aren't gonna work out
but you're gonna gather data from those
failures and you're gonna find out what
niche you're most passionate about what
niche you like the most and you might go
into a niche from the get-go that you
absolutely hate and you might find out
that you're truly passionate about it
but you're not gonna know until you take
some action so take massive action you
guys do you suggest to Instagram
influencers I don't know man I think the
best traffic is the traffic that you
create it's the traffic you manufacture
you know how I'm manufacturing new
viewers from my youtube lives organic
people people that are watching my video
because they chose to not because I put
some random marketing message in front
of them
you know Instagram influencers work you
know and you could buy you know leads
from them but do those people actually
really want what you have will they want
what you have and if you can put if that
Instagram influencer can put your
message in front of those people before
they become followers then heck yeah
that could work but if they're just
giving you a bunch of followers but then
they those followers go to your
Instagram page they find out they don't
even want what you have to offer because
you didn't pre-frame them and you know
indoctrinate them then you're probably
getting the wrong followers justin is
exactly right content is keen guys
create the right market related content
it's 100 percent
what about the snapchat is your target
market on snapchat who you marketing to
do they hang out on snapchat if they
don't hang out on snapchat don't be on
snapchat but if they do great if you
don't know if they hang out on snapchat
or not test it test it
yep speak to one group not multiple
start funnel says that's exactly right
you always want to speak to one person
don't speak to like if you're in the
coaching business don't just speak to
coaches that want to build their
coaching business maybe you just speak
to life coaches or fitness coaches right
start there and then start to broaden
your niche a little bit if you go back
to my channel I have somebody else ask
you about high ticket I got videos just
go to my my channel page and search how
you take it and you'll find some videos
on how to build an income with high
ticket products so I got lots of
training on that any other questions you
guys other guys as days have been well
mornings wherever you're at in the world
I'm really loving this little gizmo I
got it's super cool it follows me
wherever I go I'm starting to get used
to it as you guys can tell a lot more so
yeah I get a lot of people that say Josh
have you heard of this have you heard of
this guy have you heard of this guru
have you heard of that and god there's a
lot of people out there you guys I'm
gonna give you the truth about online
marketing and really making money you
don't have to follow anybody you don't
even have to follow me what you have to
do is put out good content help people
it's all you got to do there's not some
secret on the next webinar you're gonna
jump on as much as these markers make
you think we just do that to get you on
to give you some value get you to like
us and then sell you our stuff that's
what we do we become very good at that
so when you're in a world of Mart world
of you know marketers learning from
marketers we're all trying to get your
attention it's a little hard to learn
from these marketers because you're
being pulled in so many different
directions should you do shop afire real
estate well let's create this board here
and let's mark off the different check
marks on why you should do real estate
and not Shopify of course if you're a
real estate guru you're going to you're
gonna sell your prospect any way that
you can on why real estate is the best
option that's your duty to do that as a
marketer so you're seeing ads like that
because I've seen ads like that and then
you're seeing another ad wipe drop
shipping is better than you know Amazon
FBA so let's create the chart again and
let's check all the boxes on why it's
better and so you get pulled in that
direction and in another direction guys
all these all these ways of making money
online they work they all work it's just
one which one do you resonate with
you're not gonna know it a lot of times
until you try it yourself
a marketer is gonna tell you what you
want to hear versus what you need to
hear and you know of course I'm a
marketer but I don't consider myself to
be like everybody else
I want to spit some real truth to you
guys and tell you guys that it's all a
bunch of marketing BS of course you're
gonna watch the both line
commercials and see some ripped ass guy
that's an amazing shape and it just
makes you think that
oh they got in shaped by that you know
that Bowflex that's what I thought when
I was like 20 years old until I realized
that they won't even use an oppo flex
they were using you know an actual gym
and a bench press in dumbbells and
everything that goes along with it by it
so like this is the reality of building
an online business it's putting in work
it's being consistent it's waking up
every day learning from mentors building
yourself from a personal standpoint
developing self-awareness developing who
you are strengths weaknesses all that
your first few years in entrepreneurship
is going to be the process of developing
your strengths your weaknesses
identifying who you are and then once
you identify that then you're gonna be
able to easily pick what business model
is best for you but you're not going to
know that right off the bat so just pick
one and accept that you're gonna fail I
understand what's going to happen
because that's going to happen you're
gonna fail a few times but then what
what's gonna happen that's gonna pay
huge dividends because you're gonna fail
for a couple years and you might not
make any money
and then all this said you're gonna have
a breakthrough and you're gonna make
$10,000 a month and you're gonna make
thirty thousand and fifty thousand
dollars a month and that's gonna make up
for all the times lost when you weren't
making money in that first one to two
years okay I'm not saying it's gonna
take all that time I'm not saying that
it could be three months it could be
three weeks I don't know you I don't
know your work ethic but what I do know
is if you commit to this fully and you
commit to it regardless of how many
times you fail you're going to succeed
every success starts with a decision so
are you going to make that decision that
you're going to do this or
be all-in financially be all-in mentally
or don't be all-in at all because you're
gonna continue to fail you're gonna
continue to set yourself up for failure
and let yourself down and I know you
guys you don't want that you guys are
here because you're spending time with
me these past 28 minutes with me because
you want to change your life because you
see something better now that you've
consumed my information go out there and
use it and take action on it I've got

first breakthrough and start generating

is not failing you just learned that in
grade school get that out of your head
all that that you learned in in

window you know if I could say forget
everything that you learned I probably
say not everything but most ever the
innovate they taught you in school about
failure failure is the prerequisite to
success you should take a failure course
and have everybody fell a bunch of times
have them do tons of public speaking
have them try things they've never tried
before so they can be impervious to the
pain of failing and be okay with it
crypto motivation says thank you for
being straight up yeah guys this is what
it takes you're like you're building a
real business you're not this isn't a
pipe dream I thought this was a pipe
dream for so many years and it was like
oh this is my easy out too quitting my
job this is like the secret no one knows
about but it requires a whole nother
work ethic on a whole different level
like you guys want to work from home do
you know what it's like to actually work
from home you know how many bad habits
you create in your house so you know how
much willpower it requires to be able to
work from home after creating all these
bad habits inside
it liked the fact that you are now
running your own show in your own
business you have to have
self-discipline you got to wake up at a
certain time you've got to put the right
food in you so you have it or do you
have to get to the gym again so you have
energy throughout the day you need have
the willpower to jump on the laptop and
go through training videos and be okay
with that be okay with not having the
instant gratification be okay with
taking action and failing and failing
and not having instant gratification
from that this takes work you guys but
it's it's unbelievably rewarding if
you're willing to put in the work
a lifetime of working a nine-to-five job
from minimum wage is harder than the
next two years of grit and expending
insane amounts of willpower to get to
where you want to go in your life it's
so damn worth it like I mean think about
think about being at your job right now
and listening to your boss them telling
you what you're worth
them telling you what to do and listing
that over and over and over and over
again that's more painful than the pain
that it's gonna take for you guys to put
in the work to build a successful
affiliate marketing business or whatever
business you're trying to build out
there like stay up two hours later if
you have to if you're tired you know I
came home from my parents house I was
tired I just wanted to go to bed but I
knew that you guys somebody on this live
needs to hear this I knew that I had to
to do this for somebody out there you
know and I pushed myself to do it
I you know successful people do things
when they do not feel like doing them
always and so I don't buy my own excuses
and I'm not gonna buy any of your guys's
excuses you have no idea how many people
I know in this industry that are in a
worse spot than you are I promise you
there's always somebody out there in a
worse spot than you are that are doing
more that are putting in the work that
take care of five kids
the
have disabilities that and they're
working two jobs and then on top of that
and then they don't have a husband or
they don't have a life and then on top
of that they're trying to build their
online business they're putting in work
those people out there you guys there's
probably somebody on this live right now
that's doing that so I don't buy I don't
buy the excuses I don't so you know I
know this sounds like a lecture I know
I'm harping on this a lot you guys I say
this with love I say this because I want
you guys to succeed I want you guys to
make it and you need to know the path
that you're up against and if you don't
know what that path is and you end up
having these expectations you're gonna
make money overnight you're gonna let
yourself down you're gonna let me down
you're gonna let everybody else down so
if you're ever gonna join me in one of
my programs I'd rather you be real with
me and and get on board with me with the
idea that you're thinking long term with
this and that if you don't succeed after
two weeks you're gonna refund and you're
gonna quit right nothing in but there's
nothing in life I'm gonna tell you this
there's nothing in life that's a
shortcut there's nothing there's tactics
right there's tactics that will give you
an advantage but most of these are very
short-term these are not long-term
tactics and strategies they're
short-term and they'll make you a lot of
money in the short term they can but you
can lose money just as fast as you make
it
and so I've implemented short-term
traffic tactics that have worked it's
helped me kind of built a brand if for
example I created hundreds of YouTube
channels and the reason why I did that
is because it helped me rank for videos
when I create a video it help me rank a
lot easier and it's you know it took
some work but you know I I was able to
make a lot of money from it but it was a
lot easier than like having to give
value on lives like this because I could
just repeat the same thing over and over
again in these separate videos on these
separate channels well what happened is
a portion of those channels got shut
down I've pretty much lost all my
traffic
now to start from square one again so if
I was building a brand an authoritative
channel like this one that you're
watching right now from the get-go I
would probably have half a million
subscribers instead of what I've got
right now so that's a learning lesson
I'm telling you guys the long-term
method to implement when it comes to
traffic generation but the method that's
going to stand the test of time that's
going to work through the good and the
bad times okay so with that being said
I'm gonna jump off this live I'm gonna
