guys my name is Alex and welcome to my
channel money is also why share tips on
how to succeed online and in this video
I want to share with you a case study of
two guys who built an authority in each
side and in 18 months they were making
fifteen thousand dollars a month and in
addition to that because of this kind of
income that they were generating every
single month they managed to sell that
website for mid six figures of dollars
which means about $500,000 imagine
yourselves you build a website and in a
year and a half you sell that website
for about half a million dollars so I
want to walk you through this case study
to show you all the details to explain
you all the details I will also drop the
link to this very case study in the

I personally stumbled upon this case
study on one of the biggest online
marketing portals online and the
popularity of this post was insane
because people tend to think that
building a website and ranking it in
Google is kind of old a strategy that
doesn't bring you a lot of money and it
takes ages to rank it in Google to
income with affiliate marketing and you
know these two guys just proved
everybody that they're wrong that it's
absolutely doable these days today to
start a brand new website rank it in
Google and start generating an
incredible Commission an incredible
income in Commission in a filler with a
field of marketing because they didn't
have a single product of their own day
like all the income that they were
generating it was with affiliate
marketing that's why they were able to
sell that website for about half a
million dollars so let's jump to
laptop and I walk you through the whole
Kickstarter and explain you what this
website was all about what the strategy
they took and how they managed rank it
in Google and drive an insane commission
so in front of you is the website all
the authors of this case study and as
you can see right here the name is Gil
Britton and his partner his business
partner name is Mark Webster these two
guys are also the creators of the
authority site system closed up I
reviewed in my previous video so I will
drop the link below this video in the
description as well to the review of
that same course and the curious thing
is that in this case study to succeed
with this their website they were
following their exact strategy that they
teaching in the course that's what I
like the most about this case study and
their course because they actually teach
in the course what they do themselves so
getting back to the case tile as you can
see this post this case study was
published on the 28th of February 2019
so it was about a couple of months ago
actually because right now I'm shooting
on 24th of April so long story short yes
as you can see here's the number they
were not able to disclose but they are
stated that it was in the mid six-figure
amount as you can see right here so the
long story short they started this
website to build at the very end of 2002
thousand seventeen right about like
right before 2018 and they started from
choosing a niche they specifically
decided to choose a niche with high
ticket products and the niche was online
tools and all that stuff so that but can
they pay you pretty well for using it
because like I'm not sure which one
what kind of tools they were promoting
but even tools like I don't add trackers
or H rafts or moles or any kind of like
SEO and AD trackers just for example
they most of them they have affiliate
programs and they pay you pretty well
and the people one day buying those
tools they pay decent amount of money
and obviously these guys were getting a
decent amount of Commission and they
went this way right away they were not
picking the niche that they liked they
had in mind that they have to pick an
evergreen niche that would not depend on
seasonality and they take the niche with
high ticket product that would be like
100 cent profitable therefore they were
not hunting for a lot of cheap traffic
they were hunting for not a lot of
traffic but high payment traffic high
commission that they were able to give
high commission as you can see right
here from the the statistics from Google
Analytics from the first of January 2018
to 29th of generate November 2018
this was the growth this was the natural
growth of Google as you can see right
here they were not like pretty much
we're not getting any traffic at all and
they were growing gradually these spikes
as you can see right here I believe it
was because of the publishing of the
blog post because every time when you
publish a blog post just like on YouTube
every time when you publish upload a
video you get the spikes in in the views
so I guess these were when they
published the blog post the curious
thing is that they were not publishing
regularly like you know one blog every
second day or like what one blog post
everything second day or one blog post
every week or like you know two blog
posts every week or something like that
they were publishing inbox so
they were ordering like another thing
another curious thing was that they were
not writing articles themselves they
were outsourcing maximum of work that
was possible to outsource and of course
they hired a writer and asked him or her
to write all their articles for that
particular website so they were not kind
of doing themselves the right so they
were not writing blog posts themselves
and all they were doing is just
publishing maybe even they were
outsourcing the publishing to their
website as well I'm not sure about this
detail but I mean it's not a big deal to
publish a blog post to your blog as long
as it's written and what they were doing
they were sending the orders to their
writer and when a few posts were ready
to get published they were publishing to
their blog so they had these kind of
gaps of not publishing and then
publishing in bulk and they said that it
doesn't really matter because there is
an opinion that Google likes when you
publish on regular basis he's kind of
true but in reality they were not
building a blog like a YouTube channel
they were publishing content and ranking
it in Google with their SEO strategy so
they were not depending on that kind of
regularity and that publishing flow so
they said they that they didn't see any
drawbacks in this approach right here
you can see the revenue so the December
2017 was pretty much the first month
when they published the blog for the
first time and as you can see from the
January 18 when they already started
getting commissions first sales the
Commission's skyrocketed in about half
year in June 18 I can't remember right
now I'm not going to tell you what was
the reason why it skyrocketed but they
definitely wrote in in the case study
itself
I remember for sure I just can't
remember
reason so I'm not going to go through a
like inside the text right now to tell
you so you better check out the link

really yourself all the details they
actually recorded the podcast as I was
mentioning in my previous video that
they run podcasting as well podcasting
channel or some SoundCloud and in their
podcast 129 they were talking about this
very website and case started yeah so in
about one year they reached the income
of about fifteen thousand per month
imagine that in affiliate Commission
they were not selling their own product
they just were publishing content on
their website and getting Commission and
as you can see fifteen thousand per
month it's one hundred eighty thousand
per year how crazy it is just with one
website right here you can see the
thirty-six the information about their
expenses the amount of the commission so
the Commission was yes in November
fifteen thousand in December was just
told it less but it's normal because my
channel suffers as well in December in
marketing niche because people you know
are busy buying presents and not making
money content they were paying to the
writer three thousand dollars like
roughly three thousand dollars per month
so they hired a full-time writer of
course when you're just starting out you
don't have to hire a full-time writer
these guys had obviously money to invest
in their website and they were they knew
what they were doing so you don't need
to do that link building this amount for
link building was paid for the tools
they were not outsourcing link building
because they were following their own
strategy of link building the strategy
that does work these days and this
strategy is 100 percent white hat they
don't have to be afraid of getting
banned by Google and the index they were
website be indexed it's nothing nothing
about that at all it's one hunter or
geothermal strategy they're paying a
five hundred five hundred thirty dollars
per month for the tools to automate this
whole process they are not doing it
manually and these whole process they
explained in their course for the
hosting they paid thirty dollars a month
which is not that a lot so net income
net profit that they were getting from
this website as you can see last few
months they were getting about ten
thousand dollars is after all the
expenses deducted from the revenue so
the niche they were not disclosing but
they were roughly describing what this
niche was all about and the traffic I
want to pay your attention to the
traffic as you can see you don't really
need a huge amount of traffic to get a
lot of money right here they were
getting roughly 2500 hits a day it's not
a lot guys that's what it means when you
pick the niche of the right niche the
kind of money niche and published the
right content because it's not only
about blah blah blah just random
information they were publishing content
like preview articles the top articles
there I mean top it's like you know top
five products blah blah blah those kind
of articles that convert other two
factors reading really important factors
were first one is that they picked a
family-friendly niche so that they
didn't have problem to get the backlinks
to their website and they didn't have
problem with with anything like with
social media with the hosting provider
with their visitors with none of that
they didn't have problem because they
picked the family-friendly niche because
obviously there is a lot of money in
adult niche for example as well and
yeah but it's I recommend you to stay
away from those niches it's really
difficult on the internet to promote
those niches and also its kind of
ethical questions well a little bit and
so they decided to go with family
friends nation and the second factor is
that they were choosing the right
products they actually were buying every
single product that they were promoting
to do the review to do the right review
to test that product and to show you to
show to the visitors what this product
is all about how you can use it how you
like everything from the inside let's
say this was there like one of the most
important factors that help them to sell
and convert visitors into buyers so guys
