alright guys so my first word of advice
for you is you know a lot of these
affiliate networks out there whether
it's Amazon Associates whether it's
Clickbank CJ affiliate you know no
matter what it is you know a lot of them
are just low ticket products right
they're one-off sales and you know when
it comes to affiliate marketing and
being able to cover our ad costs being
able to cover the amount of time you
know it takes for us to make videos and
put it out and you know get that
Authority or to get data on our ads and
you know remain profitable right the ad
costs are rising right it's it's not
because more people are coming into the
space there's more competition right so
when it comes to sites like Clickbank
for example let's say you're selling a
fifty dollar product right and let's say
if has a few upsells in it but that's it
right there's nothing else after that
there's no back in sales and really what
it comes down to is is it easier to make
40 sales selling a getting a fifty
dollar Commission right so that's even
on the higher end ok most affiliate
programs out there give $20 Commission's
you know if you're promoting anything on
Amazon let's say you're selling
something on Amazon that's $100 for
example let's say a 10th if you're
selling a tenth for $100 in Amazon your
commission is gonna be around a 5 $5
right so all of a sudden now to make
$100 a day right I don't even know the
math you need tens dozens of sales every
single day just to make the full time
income right and even when you're
selling a product on a Philly network
like Clickbank for example or jvzoo or
some of these other ones what happens
here is sure you're gonna make that
$50.00 but can you cover your ad cost
right can you acquire a customer for
less than that $50 price point and
really what it comes down to if you want
to make $2,000 per month online you know
just some type of you know stable 2,000
per month is it gonna be easier for you
to make 40 new sales every single month
at a $50 price point or is it going to
be easier to make to sales at $1,000
Commission right
when it comes to advertising and you
know keeping up with that rising at cost
and covering your Atzmon and being able
to break even on your ads within the
first two weeks that within the first 30
days right let's say you want a thousand
leads okay so let's say you can get
leads for three dollars right that's not
bad that's not I'd say that's pretty
decent actually it's a pretty good lead
cost so to get a thousand leads let's
say you're gonna spend around three
thousand dollars now in order to make
you're making a fifty dollar Commission
right in order to cover your ad costs so
you remain profitable you need to get
around at eight nine even ten percent
conversion rate on any lead that comes
into your funnel right so if they opt-in
to your page ten percent like eight
percent of people need to buy from you
in order for you to break even but for
example if you run the same exact
numbers you're getting a three dollar
lead cost you spent three thousand
dollars you got a thousand leads and now
you're you're getting a thousand dollar
commission right you only need to make
three sales to break-even and then all
the money after that is profit right so
your conversion rate needs to be pretty
much ten times less right ten times less
and you guys might be thinking like okay
Chad that's obvious right because it's a
lot easier to get someone to buy a fifty
dollar product than it is to buy someone
you know a two thousand dollar product
so really when it comes to that
obviously it's going to be a little bit
more harder to sell a thousand dollar
product versus a fifty dollar product
but when you have the right product
right you have the right targeting
you're selling a super valuable product
that people are already willing to pay
that much they already know that's the
standard price for a product like that
then and you're targeting that those
right people it's really not that hard
okay it's really not that different
between selling let's say even to
selling a two hundred dollar product
between a thousand dollar product it
takes you know pretty much the same
amount of effort to make those two
transactions to build that trust with
someone and if I really look back on
what I did
you know for the first eight months of
trying to make money online
I tried five different business models
failed with all of them you know it's
doing drop shipping different affiliate
marketing stuff you know made some money
here and there actually I did make a
decent amount of money on Clickbank
but that was three years ago right it's
a little bit different now okay so
anyways going back to it when I first
got started the really the first way I
made my first $10,000 online was when I
started selling you know $1000 products
right I was making $500 commissions and
even up to $1,000 Commission's I'll put
proof here on the screen here and that's
really when everything changed for me
okay and after that I kind of went into
selling software right and software is
another good thing to sell it's not as
much as classified as high ticket but
when you're selling you know when I'm
giving a $69 per month sale or I'm
promoting something that's $69 per month
right that customer is worth anywhere
from 250 to $1,000 to me in a lifetime
value because some of those customers
stay for you know eight months six
months a year even so you know it's all
about trying to make the most amount of
money from a leave that way when
competition you know increases right and
I'm sorry to say right competition will
increase our cost will get higher you
know things will get more competitive
like everyone's talking about you know
you're gonna have those higher margins
and if you can really perfect your
funnel perfect you're targeting right
and you can get a three percent
conversion rate on higher ticket
products you know you're just you're
gonna be running really really
profitable ads and anyways nowadays I'm
selling you know completely on the back
end of my funnel on the complete back of
my funnel I'm selling products that are
making me anywhere from that can make me
anywhere from a thousand to even five
thousand dollars in commissions okay so
it's really crazy you know just one sale
can pretty much cover your whole entire
month expenses you know living pretty
good right so anyways guys enough about
my story if you want to learn more about
my story and a little bit more about
what products I'm promoting I'll leave a
link in the description of this video
but I want to go into the
second thing I wanted to talk about
today and you know a lot of these
affiliate products a lot of people are
promoting nowadays they don't have back
in sales like I said before a lot of the
money is made in the back end a lot of
people will tell you that because kind
of the point of online marketing is to
get it to the point where you can you
know cover your ad costs in the first
two weeks to a month to 30 days and then
everything you sell after that to your
ongoing customers to customers that
didn't buy
that's just all profit right and you
know when it comes to selling products
and Clickbank and all this other stuff
you know you don't have access to the
stuff they're selling in the back end
right for example if you're selling date
of dating products on Clickbank you're
sure you're gonna get the front end sale
you're gonna get the two upsells in the
funnel but you're not going to get the
mastermind events they sell for $5,000
where people actually teach them to date
live right you know they sell a lot of
that stuff on the back end where they
have these $1,000 $2,000 $5.00 and other
products and even though you originally
brought them all those customers you're
not making any of the money right so you
kind of get screwed because you're
spending all the money on ads just to
try to cover your commissions now the
problem is a lot of affiliates not all
affiliate programs have back-end systems
right we're getting lifetime commissions
on stuff so you know it's not a deal
breaker right the kind of the thing to
do is to start selling more higher
ticket products and also if you don't
have the backend right the if your
affiliate program doesn't have a
back-end don't worry you don't have to
panic right really the solution to do
that is to try to sell your own higher
ticket products or other people's higher
ticket products on your back end so for
example if you're selling a Clickbank
product right maybe it's in the
ketogenic niche right cool niche and
you're selling that product let's say
they have like a fifty dollar challenge
they have some upsells in it cool right
well now let's say they go through your
email sequence and then after 30 days if
they didn't buy you're gonna send them
off to another sequence and then also
the customers who did buy you're gonna
put them in a different email list as
well
well now what you can do is you can send
different types of emails right one
email every day to this list and one
email maybe ever every other day to the
customer list and to the customer list
you know you want to try to find
products in that niche right maybe it's
maybe it's a one on one keto coaching
right coaching package and you go find
someone maybe on Instagram that's
selling coaching and ask her if you can
be an affiliate for her high ticket
coaching program right the problem is
everyone's going on these affiliate
programs and they're just thinking they
can just promote the same thing everyone
else is promoting and make all their
money in that front end and although
like I said it is possible you just you
really need a superior conversion range
so when it becomes too maybe a beginner
like yourself starting affiliate
marketing you're going against the top
dogs the pro affiliates right it's gonna
be hard to get that superior conversion
rate so I'm trying to kind of explain
the solution to you guys with having you
know I try to have some type of back in
whether you have to create your own
higher ticket products or you just
promote other people's right the point
is to find them make sure they're good
products valuable products that you know
people already pay that much money for
and you know just put those systems in
place to be able to make it possible to
do that that way you know when you're
getting let's say go back to the example
we were spending three thousand dollars
on the Facebook ads and you want to make
that three thousand dollars back and
let's say you only made two thousand
dollars back right well now if you have
that back-end where you're selling a
thousand dollar coaching programs and
let's say out of those a thousand leads
maybe maybe just one of them bought the
coaching program right there that's
gonna save you all that money you spent
on Facebook right because you were a
thousand the whole but since you're
selling that higher ticket product on
the back end only one person bought from
you out of a thousand now right you're
making now you're not in the hole right
you're you're even and now if you sell
another one you're gonna be a thousand
dollars in profit you sell another one
after that you're gonna be a thousand
dollars in profit and now you can use
that money to reinvest in that and to
keep
throwing that system keep perfecting it
and focusing on that one huge sales fun
okay so anyways guys I don't want to

stuff like that and also I'm going to be
making videos on how I would personally
go into affiliate marketing as a
complete beginner going into 2020 so be
