member but also an affiliate marketer
he's not in the course but he has a vast
background in affiliate marketing so I
just wanted to introduce him to the
channel but before we get started I want
to let you know that today I'm going to
be filming the 4 5 8 so the car reveal

into it od kind of introduce yourself
and let everyone know what you're about

the dog line community of entrepreneurs
and young entrepreneurs who are looking
to learn and you know get the lifestyle
of the you know that online business
lifestyle so just a little bit about me
I my name is OD Sanchez I go by ogi
productions on YouTube basically I am a
full-time affiliate marketer that's all
I do as I said in this video that I
don't you know I don't trade stocks
I don't do eBay Amazon anything like
that I don't sawhorses I literally just
do affiliate marketing and for those
don't know I just picked up a 911 turbo
which is my dream car and all that is
from affiliate marketing and my
background is really like I feel like a
lot of people like I do not come from a
rich family um both my parents
immigrated here from the Philippines and
mean like well I'm not famous youtuber
or anything like that but I was able to
live this lifestyle at 24 on all through
affiliate marketing all through selling
online and it's honestly just changed my
life and I'm hoping that it can change
some of yours and lo nice what did your
parents have to say about the 911 oh so
funny stories like my parents they
actually never really believed any of
this it was like real that my first
dream car that I picked up was an e 92
m3r anyone is familiar I got that when I
was still living in San Diego um and
when even when I got that they weren't
real
like congratulations they're just kind
of like worried they're like okay he's
buying like cars and stuff like that but
he's like he doesn't have a job he's
like doing the Sicilian stuff by who and
then I moved down to Chicago
I know if you guys can see my oh I'm
using I'm using my face town
oh no I'm using the wrong webcam that's
why I look so ugly I'll bed was I live
here in downtown Chicago Illinois
oh it's really like my dream apartment
and I moved out here and the week before
I moved out they were just like uh you
know what are you doing like are you
gonna be okay and I was like I'm more
than okay and it's funny because I
actually I had a stack of three books on
the table and my dad was like people are
wondering about you like family is
wondering about you like where you gonna
do because I drop that UCLA by the way
that's 100 like yeah okay like
background stories yeah I talk about
UCLA literally two quarters before
graduation I can't make this up um and I
left me with a degree and obviously
that's another reason why my parents
were kind of like okay what is this kid
doing yeah and honestly all those things
in sort of like my background they led
them to believe like not you know kind
of like question like be suspicious of
like everything I'm doing um but then
you know over time what just you know
living out here on my own then you know
the 911 like they stop asking questions
thankfully it's not asking questions
they seem to be like he's doing all
right
yeah so thankfully like they have a
little more peace of mind yeah yeah
so you haven't showed them the car in
person then no okay so I lived in
Chicago flew to San Francisco to check
out this turbo because it was one of
four EPO turbos in like the year range I
was looking for LA and I just picked it
up Anessa
I shifted over here but they haven't
ended in San Diego yeah so okay they
don't want it well yeah see when I got
the car and I showed my mom she like
freaked out
like why are you spending your money on
this because up that's the Filipino uh
you know everything away so I totally
get you on that but kind of share your
affiliate marketing journey how did you
get into it what type of affiliate
marketing do you do and you know maybe
give a range of how much you you know
make per month or per year whatever you
want to share prefer okay yeah so my
background I actually got pretty lucky
because my first affiliate marketing
website which is an authority website so
in the home recording ditch is recording
now calm which you know anyone can just
like search her up and check it out so I
my background is actually as a music
producer I really love home recording
producing beats and you know like
hip-hop and stuff like that so I started
to review products in that niche such as
microphones audio interfaces headphones
and headphones was like the big thing
that like gave me like it kind of like
lit up that light bulb those like oh
like you can actually make a lot of
money from this yeah and so I started
making YouTube video reviews and you
guys can actually see some of my first
videos were so bad they were literally
using PowerPoint and there was no live
footage why he was going to Boise over
of a PowerPoint of images from Google
viewing microphone it so like literally
from 2014 you guys can see those videos
on my channel and terrible with some of
those videos I could you not have over
400,000 views and it and people are
still watching and clicking and buying
those parts today and that's the beauty
of affiliate marketing is that you can
set up this machine and they can
continue to earn passive income 100%
passive income for years to come
that are all crazy and there's really no
excuse to you said that I mean that's
that was only three years ago you adjust
your PowerPoint videos like there's no
excuse some people who are like how do I
get started by yeah you want you to do
this and you do that I'm like literally
just get out there and just do anything
like create anything because you have to
start somewhere and you probably suck
you know I mean when you start but you
will get better and then today
like a lot of my more recent headphone
reviews over you know 100,000 200,000
300,000 views and obviously the quality
is better but if you look at my videos
from 3 years ago it's like not even the
same person you know I mean but even
then those videos have gone over a
hundred thousand two hundred thousand
views yes like you just have to do
something and just you know it's better
than nothing that's crazy man do you use
what's owed use like Amazon Associates
or what networks you use for the
headphones or yeah so for the headphones
and those kind of like consumer products
I definitely Amazon Sergius ah that's
like the easiest you know once is kind
of join and it's obviously the widest in
terms of like the products that you can
promote yeah I'm also part of a few
other affiliate networks and such as you
know Commission Junction Max brownie on
the furniture sale others yo nice that's
awesome man it's cool hearing your story
on how you got started and utilized
Authority sites and YouTube for jelly at
marketing I don't think that's the
normal for a new affiliate marketing
marketer like what would be the best
route would you say that has yielded you
the most commissions okay yeah I'm
saying I've got this question a few
times now I would definitely say that
education is the number one form of
selling especially in affiliate
marketing is educating your audience on
a certain Barker service but at its core
because a lot of people I think over
complicates the selling process and
thinking like you know some people are
just like you have to do this business
but really you just have to educate the
right audience that your part exists you
know I mean and then your product solves
their pains or problems but yeah so for
example like headphones doing a review
is a really great way to sell stuff
instead of directly trying to sell stuff
like off the get-go you kind of want to
like work around that you know I mean
like you kind of want to like not tell
them directly but just educate yeah and
then Google by you know you don't want
to like come off
a lot of people online video to post
affiliate link in the comment as if
someone is going to click there like and
buy from them with some random zero
subscriber you know ug comment they
think right people aren't going to buy
from that it doesn't work like that in
the world doesn't work that way
especially with online business you need
to establish credibility and people
trust you they will buy literally
anything that you sell them but they
have to trust you first so you have to
build sort of that credibility and
disestablishment or establish your soul
yeah and that's what I love about
affiliate marketing too it's like your
instead of someone walking you into a
store in a you know pushy salesman and
getting in front of their face and
saying well can I help you out like do
you like this front it's just it's more
personal it's like if you build trust
with someone it's almost like you're
their friend and when they look at a
product they get their private little
video of reviewing it you know what I
mean so that's why I like silly
marketing it's connecting with people
and sharing kind of the similar products
that I use maybe you do the same like
you use some of those headphones so
that's why I like it but yeah I mean
that's crazy man your story is
definitely I mean you kind of popped out
of the woodwork so like you're in the
mastermind group and I was like wow he
got a 911 that's crazy and then where
does he do and I went on your YouTube
channel I saw you have like 30 thousand
subs and you know all these nice review
videos so that's great man what would
you recommend to some what would be your
advice for someone getting into this
just getting started okay yeah I would
say if you're just getting started with
affiliate marketing that first of all
you made a great choice because
affiliate marketing is one of the lowest
risk low investment online businesses
that you can start because you don't
have to buy any inventories you don't
really have to invest in anything except
for advertising if you're trying to
speed up results but like I said like
with my back stories I literally was
making PowerPoint videos reviews and I
wasn't doing any advertising or nothing
and though it's done results eventually
you know I mean yeah so really like do
anything like do something like create a
post created video create YouTube
channel on create some sort of platform
and then just start creating content it
does American sauce it doesn't matter if
it's perfect like just start doing that
if you want to speed things up pay
traffic 100 percent of the way to go you
gotta pay to play on that something I
always believe and so as far as
advertising goes video advertising is
sort of like what I think is great bang
for the buck these days yes simply
because not everyone does it a lot of
people do static image ads and stuff
like that and they should old-school
Google AdWords PPC but I believe you
want to be you know on the way and you
want to do video advertising because
Facebook video advertising is so cheap
so which is literally like cents for
thank you what 1 cent per view or what
lessons that like point zero zero one
cent for any sometimes depending on your
I guess niche but basically you know do
create videos or any sort of content and
then promote it either through free
channels or through paid traffic which I
think you should do if you're serious
about this but yeah that's exactly my
strategy if I were to tackle that
starting at the beginner today nice

enough money to live on your own in
