so much for coming back to my channel on

this video we're gonna talk about why

you're not making sales with affiliate

marketing maybe you've tried it out

you've promoted a few offers you've

driven a lot of traffic but those sales

are just not coming in well that's what

we're gonna talk about right on this

video now before that I make videos

every single day that talked about

making money online how to become an

entrepreneur we talked about mindset

YouTube promotion different strategies

and things like that we also talked

about affiliate marketing so if you

subscribe what I'll do is I'll send you

an update whenever I come out with a new

video alright how to open up the

floodgates and have money pouring into

your bank account faster than you can

spend it so if that sounds good to you

then this is going to be the video that

you guys are gonna want to watch now why

should you listen to me

well I've been doing affiliate marketing

online now for the past eight months you

know before this I was running a

software business and so this is amazing

this has allowed me to create a full

time passive income this is a little bit

of my results just as of today earned

over a thousand dollars yesterday ninety

dollars in the last seven days I've

earned over six thousand dollars almost

ten thousand dollars okay so a lot of

people say well this is just a

screenshot actually it's not this is the

dashboard inside of my account and I can

just show you this just showing some

results for today let's see you today's

the 21st tomorrow is Thanksgiving so I'm

gonna go ahead and just change this

November 18 2008 II know I'll put this

to 11:21 I'll change the end date here

to 11 21 and I'll just hit the Update

button there

results guys but this is what I'm doing

so let's go ahead and jump in here

alright so we're gonna use this little

white board here I'm gonna show you

exactly you know how I set up my funnels

and different things this is going to be

mostly for direct marketing you know

direct sales and that sort of thing when

you're using a sales funnel and driving

traffic to an opt-in form and in

generating sales this way okay I made a

lot of mistakes I'm gonna show you what

really has not worked for me I made a

lot of the newbie state newbie mistakes

when I started really sent a lot of

traffic it got no sales at all guys okay

so first of all let's just start off

here with some traffic this can be

traffic from anywhere YouTube you know

Facebook you can this could be paid

traffic whatever it is now when you're

on social media or if you have a brand

or something like that or if you're

doing attraction marketing your your

your YouTube personality whatever that's

gonna be a little bit more war more

traffic it's going to be a little bit

easier for you to generate those sales

however with that said a lot of people

you know they come to my channel they

say well mark you have 70,000

subscribers that's why you're getting

the sales not necessarily true if you

know I made a lot of mistakes here by by

sending people directly to offers and

different things like that even though I

had subscribers I had traffic but that

doesn't mean you're necessarily going to

generate sales unless you follow some of

the things that I'm gonna share with you

in this video that really just

catapulted my success and my sales for

my business hopefully you guys can apply

these and get the similar or get similar

results with what you're doing so let's

go ahead and back here we got traffic

this can be you know anything YouTube

pay traffic Facebook ads I don't know it

could be just anything and then after

this point what you guys are going to

want to do you're gonna want to collect

a contact okay so for this you're gonna

want an opt-in form some type of

something like a landing page

where you know you're telling them hey

if you would like to know more

information about this or if you would

like to get this result then enter your

email address below or even your name if

you guys want to offer or you know

collect names you can do that as well if

you just send them directly to the offer

then that's it you've lost them

you don't need there's no way to get

back to that person who wanted to see

your stuff so it's always really good to

to collect those email addresses now

after this what you can do at this point

is you can go to a what they call a

bridge page now let me show you a little

mistake here this is something that has

not worked very well for me for an

example let me just go ahead and grab

another book off the screen there I'll

grab another page here just make this

generic page and let's just call this

let's just call this sales page okay so

here's a lot of this is what I did you

know months back I I was experimenting

in different things I didn't have the

confidence to to make a video and talk

about or give a personal recommendation

which is what we're gonna talk about in

just a moment I didn't have quite that

confidence to do that a lot of newbies a

lot of people coming on for the very

first time getting involved in in

affiliate marketing they kind of want to

hide behind the computer a little bit

they don't want to put their face out

there they don't want to be vulnerable

and share their experience about a

particular product and I get it because

I was the same way so what I did what as

soon as they opted in I just sent them

directly to the sales page and logically

it seems like this is something that's

going to work really well but it did not

work well for me I opted in went right

to the sales page and I sent a lot of

traffic guys a lot of traffic

and guys no sales I mean there might

have been like one or two cells in there

that which is probably a fluke you know

you're gonna have that one-hit wonder

right you're gonna have like you know

200 hits or 300 unique visitors and you

might get that one sale you're just luck

it out guys really not the way to go a

whole you know this is kind of like the

amateur to beginner way to approach

things okay so here's what I'm gonna do

I'm gonna go ahead and just X this out

and pull the sales page over here what

you really

there's a couple ways you can approach

this and then I'll get a little bit more

into the details on how you should a be

split test different bridge pages so so

you can figure out what's converting

higher and then you can focus more of

your attention on that okay you know I

it's really not great to have you know

to go into something like this in yes

okay that's just not the way to do it

I'm constantly testing I test like a

religion I mean it's just like every day

I'm up to like 1 o'clock in the morning

you know experimenting and trying

different headlines and different things

like that so here's what you're gonna do

traffic opt-in page and then bring them

over to what you what they call

something like a bridge page or a

landing page or or you know this can

also be a pre-sales video and what that

is is a video where you're kind of like

sharing your own experience about the

particular product that you're selling

or that you're referring them to so if

this is an affiliate product off of

Clickbank or or whatever and you want to

promote that product well if you have

already tried that product maybe this is

something from like warrior Plus maybe

it's you know like jvzoo it's you know

of course those are a little bit more

targeted to making money online but you

can apply this to pretty much any type

of product you guys want to do a

personal recommendation a little video

or maybe a little story about maybe

about yourself and where you have came

from and then you know hit on those pain

points a little bit and then you know

you can slowly smoothly move them into

the affiliate page or the sales page

after that we've got opt-in form here

and then after that we have the bridge

page so I'm gonna go ahead and connect

these this is all gonna happen as soon

as they enter their email address

they're gonna be redirected over to this

bridge page here which can also be a

sales video now what else you guys can

do let's go ahead move this out of the

way you can make a little story now I

did this when I first started I did not

have results okay I have results now but

when I first got started with affiliate

marketing I didn't have like you know

thousands of dollars to put on the

screen to you know to flash that around

say hey these are my results you know

check it out I didn't

have that guys so what did I do instead

well I wrote up a little story about

myself and which was actually true

I started were you know I had to borrow

a laptop when I got started online I had

to move back with my parents at 40 years

old they I turned 40 I had to move back

into my parent my parents house we lost

everything yes my wife and I we moved

back and so even my daughter everybody

we just kind of it was just you know and

so it was hard times and I had this

garage office for a little while had to

work in the garage it was very cold in

there had little heater and so what I

did is I created this little story about

where I've came from and then I started

to apply what I've been learning online

and I gave some tips and some

recommendations about if you do come

online if you want to start an online

business or whatever they offer is it's

a good idea to you know I put some you

know some bullet points there on what

you should be looking for if you were

serious about creating a business or if

you're serious about getting into a this

you know particular product you know

make sure there's good customer service

make sure they have a refund policy all

this stuff okay and that's you craft

that and so that's just warming them up

a little bit because if not guys it's

really cold you know if you have your

picture there and you are in appearing

as a real person before sending them to

the offer this is what's going to make

it for me for you okay as soon as I did

this guys my sales went through the

frickin roof okay all right so these are

really the secrets here people really

don't know who you are

all right especially if this is cold

traffic this is traffic that you're

paying for they don't know you on

YouTube or social media you're just

paying for traffic you got to really

slowly warm this up now there's a lot of

email marketers and different things

like that they do like engagements over

the course of 30 days you can do that

that's going to be something for another

video but this is Willie how I've done

it this is the easiest way if you want

to get that upfront a quick sale right

away this is what really has worked for

me so the story now here's another thing

this actually worked really really well

for me here's here's a little this is

what I did before okay I had my story

this is like when I first got started

now let me go ahead and zoom in here a

little bit okay so I had my little story

here they upped it in little story and

then what I did because I pre-sold and I

told them so much about the opportunity

or the product or the service I

explained so much about it that I just

sent them to the order page yeah I don't

even send them over to a sales page of

the product I found that the sales page

is just it it seems like through my

testing it's just become another

obstacle something that they have to

another look they have to go over or you

know just something else to get in their

way to prevent them to prevent them from

going straight to the order form because

I've already explained everything I've

already pre-sold everything so why

should I go ahead and send them directly

to the sales page again so what I did

here here's what really changed things

for me I sent them directly to the order

page now with most offers out there

different services products

opportunities whatever you guys have biz

ops whatever a lot of times they will

have you know you can still use your

affiliate link and get the link that

goes directly to the order page you'll

still get credit and get commissions for

that so that's all I did here at the

very bottom of my story I just sent them

right over to the order page that's it

and guys I was making sells like crazy

matter of fact in a month and a half I

had like 600 signups to the other

opportunity that I was promoting and

it's generally that this is the way I've

been doing it for you know I mean kind

of you're doing it this way and I've

been seeing really great results now

I've switched up things a little bit if

I feel that a company video or something

like that is gonna be more helpful and

you know a lot there's a lot of factors

here there's a lot of factors in the

price of the product is this a higher

ticket product is a lower ticket product

I mean is there a one dollar trial as a

30 day subscribe or membership you know

whatever it is is a lot of that also

factors into this as well so so yeah so

there you go so you can do the bridge

page sales video this is going to be a

personal video from you that's going to

pre sell the product the service

whatever it is let's just say you're

promoting some email service or

something like that and you know you're

attracting people and you're out there

targeting people that are looking for

this particular thing well you're gonna

want to

your experience with that product okay

whatever that is and if you have results

of course yeah absolutely you're gonna

want to share your results as well

because people want to see somebody else

doing something already which is kind of

like a testimonial before they go into

it you know and if they do go into it if

they do sign up well what's gonna happen

are they're gonna be by themselves

either gonna have immune houses support

can they cancel can they get a refund so

make sure to tell them all these things

what's gonna happen all right

and I think you guys are gonna see this

is gonna transform your business okay

now if the company also has like a video

or something like that you guys can

after they have received the personal

recommendation from you on your order

page or not your order page but your

story

I kind of would I get a little crazy

there okay let me go ahead and fix this

there we go so two options you can do

the opt-in you can go right after the

opt-in they can go to the to your little

story page here if you don't have

results you can type up type up a little

page okay now a lot of you may be you

might wonder eight well well how do I

get the opt-in page how do I get the

landing page how do I start collecting

emails and stuff like that okay so let

me go ahead and and show you that first

of all let me go ahead and just finish

this funnel here okay so you can go to

the you can go right to the order page

if you want to now you guys need to test

this you need to do what they call a be

a be split testing and I'm gonna show

you how you can do that because there's

a couple services that will allow you to

do that and so this is really good so

when somebody let's just say that let me

go ahead and take this out real quick

let's just say what a be split testing

what that means is that if somebody

comes to your sales video or your pre

sales video which is going to be a

personal recommendation well on this

video here you're gonna have a link at

the very bottom that's gonna allow them

to continue and that link can split to

two different locations okay

so 50% of the traffic is going to go

directly to the sales page alright and

then the other 50% is going to go

directly to the order page well how can

you do that how can you set it up so

that you know the the page will

automatically do that for you well they

have services for that I'm going to show

you that in just a moment so then you

can see okay well what's converting more

you know people going to write right to

the order page or the sales page okay so

the way you guys can do that there are

some landing page services that you can

use there's one service called leadpages

which is pretty easy to use it's

affordable it's more affordable than the

others than the other than the other big

companies out there but there is a

monthly fee okay it's easy to use and

they do offer a be split testing okay so

you can split test between the different

pages on where you're sending your

visitors so you guys can optimize that

now there's also clickfunnels which is

pretty popular now this one's going to

be a cause it's gonna cost a little bit

more I think it starts at $100 a month

okay and that's a reoccurring fee it's

very user friendly lots of options

everything from very basic all the way

up to advanced features and they also

offer a be split testing as well there's

also one here this is what I'm using

this is called instabuilder and this is

actually a wordpress plugin so if you

already have a blog and you don't need

to you know sign up to a monthly service

but if you have a blog already you're

using WordPress well you can install

this instabuilder this is a one-time fee

which is what I really liked about it I

think it's like 70 bucks or something

like that and then you get it forever

you get free updates and all that sort

of stuff so there's many many features

and they also have a be split testing

without any extra charges or anything

like that

now there's $70 I think that I spent I

think that was for an unlimited license

which means that I can install the

plug-in on as many websites as I want

okay so there you go guys I don't wanna

make this video too long running over 18

minutes here so really this is how I've

been able to really change things up

some of my mistakes you know driving

people directly to the offer and really

not a way to go you want to really warm

people up slowly through the funnel as

as slow as you can you can engage with

them over email which is something for

another email or for another video but

is how really you can transform your

business guys and really start seeing

some better results so hope you found
