another video now we're going to talk
and that's niche selection I love you
guys have been sending me your sites and
then not your niche selection isn't
really the best so we're gonna talk
about that and there is them on the
water because I've been trying in a
video done for the last few days but
it's been very stormy it's still quite
windy where I am at the moment where I
have a holiday home on the beach over
there and it is still quite windy so
I've kind of tucked into this little
corner to get this done for you guys now
niche selection is one of the most
important things with EECOM and the
reason is because if you pick the wrong
niche you're gonna fail from the start
now this comes to comes to light because
a lot of you guys send me your stores
and that's fine I don't mind have a look
through them giving you some advice but
the main thing I see is bad niche
selection so many of you an example of a
bad niche real quick
woman's or lingerie guys and girls if
you sell this stuff it can be sold don't
get me wrong you can make money from it
but it's very hard the reason is because
women's lingerie it's a very broad
audience you can't really specifically
target a specific thing you can only
target woman and the one thing people
miss is women are very brand orientated
if you're selling them just unbranded
stuff from Le Express you're not going
to catch their eye it's very hard to
sell woman lingerie that's not branded
because they're very stuck on their
brands if you have a girlfriend ask you
that question she'll tell you or show
who your store she'll tell you that she
might probably won't buy from that store
so women's lingerie is a bad niche to
start with now don't get me wrong you
can't make money in their niche very
well you can but it's gonna be hard and
you're going to have to establish
yourself as some sort of brand this also
brings me to women's fashion I've made
money in women's fashion I know people
who have made money in women's fashion
and it works but once again they're very
brand orientated and it's easier to sell
men's fashion because men really don't
care about brands you know they like
their Nikes to edit like I buy Nike le
desks things like that but a lot of men
don't really care they just want cheap
clothing and I'm gonna give you a good
example here so there's a website called
deal man Cote
well that's the website address what's
called Dillman they have a huge they've
over 1 million followers on Facebook
they've made millions online selling
men's fashion when they tried to do
woman's fashion as well like a sister
company - that they failed miserably
didn't work out because it's easy to
sell them in fashion like clothing than
it is to a woman and then might sound
weird because a lot of you guys probably
think of a woman buy online more and
woman the more into fashion all that
sort of stuff right woman into clothing
that may that may be but women are more
cautious when buying fashion and
clothing online where and men will just
buy things like right like I buy things
online if it doesn't fit me I just put
it in the drawer who cares woman on the
other hand need to know something fit
they need to know so they usually go to
the store to buy their clothing and now
I'm not saying that's the case with
everything but that's a bad example of a
niche ok and a lot of you guys
surprisingly a lot of you guys see me
stores with woman lingerie I don't
really know why don't know what what the
big thing is with that you need to also
remember that don't sell what you think
will work don't sell what you like sell
what the people want sell what the
people like that is the most important
thing if you're too caught up in
something that you think will work
you're going to fail unless it does work
of course I'm not saying it won't work
but you're going to fail because if
because you're gonna keep trying keep
trying keep trying and it just simply
might not be working right so now let's
look at as an example of a good niche so
I've made really good money off animal
necklaces rings earrings things like
that why because you can specifically
target a specific animal even a specific
breed of an animal that is a big
helicopter got everything can hear that
I'm sorry but the for instance I made a
lot of money off her owl necklace you
know the bird the owl the next step
noise at night and all that sort of
stuff so the owl necklace I could target
a specific audience people that like to
our pages people that liked owls and I
made good money off there another guy I
know just made quite a lot of money off
a dog Nicholas it was a brave coming
walk when it was I think I was a German
Shepherd he made very good money from
that as well
because it's a specific audience and
usually they're very passionate so can
you see the difference here or one hand
you've got an itch that's woman long the
woman is lingerie not specifically
passionate because they can just get it
from any store and most of them will
have their specific store that they go
to either offline or online so not
really something you should be selling
unless you plan to turn it into some
sort of big brand well-known brand or
brand that you can convince people to
buy on the other hand we have necklaces
which then dog necklaces as an example
there's lots we could use here now these
are very specific you've got an animal
so I pit you can do pit breeds all sorts
of things right catch dogs owls fish all
sorts of things and they're very
specific so your targeting is easier you
have a bit of chance in making money and
it just makes it so much easier for you
all right so niche selection is very
important and if you're doing laundry
and stuff seriously just relook at what
you're doing and need to take this from
me because I've I've I've done so much
testing yeah you know when I put my
first video out on this stuff I'd been
testing way before that right and making
money way before that I listed what
works I've tested what doesn't work and
I've actually haven't tested lingerie
specifically but I do know people that
have tested lingerie and do sell
lingerie and try to sell lingerie and
it's um it's a very hard Anish to get
into so but that's just an example I'm
not talking about lingerie really I'm
specifically in this video I'm just
talking about choosing bad niches so you
have to pick a niche that has the
targeting good targeting for your easy
targeting you need to dial that stuff
down to a specific niche like Micronesia
get it really really down you know you
don't need audiences of 4 million 5
million 10 million 30 million a million
is good 500,000 is good even if you get
a hundred thousand people on Facebook
that you can reach and their buyers and
let's say like you don't need to have a
massive audience and I think that's
another reason why a lot of people fail
in this game because they think they
need a huge audience
you don't I've made money off a 50,000
audience right then you've got your
retargeting as
on your Facebook that you can numb head
up so that's good and before you lost
customers they'll see it again on
Facebook so niche selection is super
super important and I'm just doing this
for you guys this video for you guys
because I see this quite often in the
group and and my emails that you know
you're not making money and you show me
your stores and it's it's really federal
a woman's fashion just doesn't really
seem to be doing very well I don't think
in the EECOM space from what I've seen
all you guys that are failing a ton of
cell woman's fashion so maybe that's
just telling us something maybe you need
to get out of that niche I think that
really is telling us something so if
you're in that niche reassess yourself
see what's happening do some maybe some
more testing on different products I
don't know about you need to get out of
that niche if it's not working for you
any niche that's not working for you
change the nation it's the number one
thought that's the first step you take
really like making the store is easy all
that sort of stuff is super easy it is
videos all over the internet showing you
how to do that but niche selection is
really down to you so you can watch all
the new selection videos in the world
but really it comes down to how good you
are at doing it like some people just
really go to doing it and some people
want so will in depth the other ones
getting up but just want to cover there
for you guys so it helps you with your
niche selection
