hey what is up this is Tyler Pratt with
Tyler Pratt calm and in this video I
want to tell you a story about how I
made ten thousand dollars with only ten
minutes of work so a couple years ago I
took this cruise to the Caribbean
we went out of Miami and if you've been
you've been down there it's it's a great
place the great place to take out a
cruise you go around it right into the
city of Miami and there's there's a port
right there there's a ton of cruise
ships right there so you board it you
get on it and then they take off and
they head down to the Caribbean and
while you're out on the Caribbean you're
out in the middle of nowhere on the
middle of the ocean I think one day is
total oh you know just complete ocean
voyage until you get to to these these
islands that they have down there now
when you're on the cruise right so
you're supposed to with your family
you're supposed to take seven days and
relax and have fun and do all I could
stuff well I can't I have to constantly
be connected that's why you know we have
cell phones and all these amazing things
we have now but I need to be connected
at least a little bit I need to be able
to check in and see what's going on see
my stats do you know get emails out and
so the Wi-Fi on cruise ships are
absolutely just the worst there's
they're like dial-up from nineteen
eighty if they even had it then so
inside the cabins you have Wi-Fi and so
I had my little laptop with me and I was
trying to get connected wasn't able to
get connected so I went down to the
business center that they had there and
and they had computers on there but
there's a ton of people are trying to
get on them so every morning I'd go down
to the business center and I'd get about
ten minutes of time or get on and then
Wi-Fi was a little bit better than then
my laptop at the you know inside the
room but not much better so I could
really only get on and do a few things
so all I could really do was get on in
the morning and send out an email to my
email list that was about it I really
couldn't do anything else I couldn't
surf I couldn't check YouTube I couldn't
do any of that fun stuff that I wanted
to do all I could do is log in send out
an email to my email list now those of
you that know email marketing you
probably laughing at me saying why
didn't you set these up before you went
out well you're right I'm
pretty much lazy and I didn't set him up
so I had to go in there and get my email
setup and I really didn't have time to
go in and set them all up like the first
day I was there you know if I was too
lazy and didn't set him up I couldn't
Lee do that I have like literally 10
minutes get in write up an email send it
out and I had to do that every morning
to keep you know things going but that's
all I had and that's all I had to do and
that's really all I had to do and when
the week ended I ended up with $10,000
in sales from all the emails that went
out so my point to you is this is that
if you're not really into email
marketing you should be email marketing
is going to be the one of the best
things that you can do for your business
it allows you to connect with your
audience allows you to do to do you know
go travel do the fun things and able to
still connect send out emails and make
the money I know if I didn't send out
those emails I wouldn't been able to
make that money I was able to send those
emails out make the money and pay for
the trip which was awesome okay so you
know there's a there's a time different
ways you can do email marketing you can
start off with an autoresponder you know
the Aweber active campaign all these
MailChimp get response all of these
email autoresponders are really really
good and all you have to do is just set
up a lead capture page and offer
something of value to somebody in
exchange for their email don't just take
an email and don't give any any value
you won't you won't build a long-term
list give something away of value do
some training maybe give away a cheat
sheet a report something of value to get
that email once you get that person on
your email list educate them a little
bit talk about your story tell them
about you and then you can promote
things that you have to offer them okay
that'll help them succeed in their
business so that's how you can do email
marketing but the cool thing is is going
to continue to grow and grow and grow
over the years you should be building up
your your email list to thousands of
people that you can contact on a daily
basis and as that grows the more people
you have any list the more money you're
gonna be making the average is about $1
per subscriber sometimes I've seen as
high as $4 per subscriber and some of my
list so just think about that if you
have 10,000 people on your list you
should be making around $10,000 per
month with your email
