Google my business are you using it are
you taking advantage of it
Google is the biggest website online and
it's one of the best ways to start
generating income for yourself all you
have to do is just go use that free tool
and in this video I'm gonna walk you
through exactly how to do this I'm gonna
give you three examples right here that
you can do this now you can do this it
doesn't matter where you're at in the
world if you have Google and you can get
to Google you can do this okay so I'm
gonna show you that in this video

okay so Google my business it's one of
the best ways to do this now this video
is kind of a follow up to a video it did
a couple days ago how to start or how to
start your online business even if
you're broke and I'll leave a link to
that somewhere right here okay somewhere
right in here I'll leave a link to that
video that's just um this is kind of a
follow-up to that because people kind of
were confused a little bit about it so
maybe I want to maybe clear up some
things for you so what we're gonna do is
is we're gonna jump right into this and
show you exactly how to do this now if
you guys have been watching my videos I
picked up a iPad pro I really like the
iPad pro because it has this pen and it
allows me to show you some diagrams and
I was using the the Samsung s4 I get
asked to whatever I was in that before
but I like this iPad pro it lets me show
you things online so let's do that let's
draw a little bit here so I can show you
so a business get started online or just
think about a business locally in your
area yeah it could be anything but they
start a business and they start right
here okay so here is their new business
okay their start their business they
take a product or service they they're
in business for themselves
now just because you put up a building
or just because you started a business
does not mean that your business is
going to be successful why be
cuz you need people to come into your
door okay you need people all the time
now traditionally businesses where what
have they always been when somebody
starts with business what do they do
well they want to start advertising they
want to figure out ways to do that so
when they start advertising they think
of maybe radio okay so so let's go to
radio that started advertising or let's
maybe do a billboard on the side of the
road you know the driving down the road
and there's these giant billboards we'll
put a sign there or maybe the Yellow
Pages
I know some of you young people don't
know what the Yellow Pages is but it's
this thick book and it's just all the
businesses in your local area so people
used to use that that would be you know
the better way to do it
so radio you got billboard yeah yellow
pages you got maybe local local banners
okay so just think about local banners
maybe at your high school or you know
banners locally around your area or
maybe just local signs this is
traditionally how a business would go up
go about advertising to get people in
the door but all those are so old you
know so old school so old-fashioned it's
just crazy but a lot of most businesses
in your area they're all gonna be stuck
in this right here I mean you can even
put like TV TV ads am I still here TV
ads okay lump those in to here
people still try to do TV ads all of
this right here is all outdated
so where is businesses crushing right
now they're using Google they're using
Google my business right now and you can
help these businesses so so these local
businesses right here yeah this is gonna
be you okay so I'm gonna I'm gonna draw
you right here okay you're gonna be this
new local person here and you're going
to be helping this sorry helping this
business right here okay so you're gonna
be helping this business eliminate all
of this okay and we're going to go
straight to Google right now because
Google is where all of the traffic where
all the people are going to that's where
people go to the to look for local
businesses so let's I wanted to give you
some examples of what you're going to be
doing here with your local businesses so
inside of Google you're gonna just go
and look for different niches of
different types of services so example
right here is going to be electrician
type an electrician in your area what
are you going to come up with there's
going to be a listing in your area right
here the now these are going to be ads
or here so these three are going to be
just ads that people put up but these
right here are gonna actually be
businesses in the area that are trying
to get on to youtube so if we do do
more places right here now you can see
that the first one right here is these
first two are ads so ad ad
so this one right here basically is kind
of an ad somebody jumped into this spot
but then you look down here so this this
right here is um I'm not sure what hi
Coggan power so high coggan power is a
new business that first of all they
don't have a website okay and they don't
even have their their information is not
listed on the Google like you know or
Google my business directory so what are
you gonna do here's what we gonna do
you're gonna contact this this business
owner and you're gonna say hey you do
you own this business yes let me get you
listed with your information onto Google
my business they're gonna ask you for
for a fee you just say you know what
it's free let me get you started on this
because you know why because they don't
have a website they don't have a website
set up not on this so on this business
you set this up for them and then what
you're gonna do is say hey let me set
you up with a website let me get you
listed better on to Google you don't
even have a website
so what do you do well just head over to
like themeforest okay you could type in
electrician here and you can see all
these different themes that you could
set up on WordPress WordPress is free
just get a hosting account at like
Hostgator or Bluehost
set up this electrician template and you
will be good to go so then you could set
this up for them and you can charge them
for that now charging for a website you
should be charged in a premium to set up
a website even though that that set it
up on Google and or setting up on
WordPress is kind of simple you just
upload the theme but you should be
charging a lot for that you should be
charging five hundred even a thousand
dollars to set up the website on that
now you don't stop there with this
business now that you got your foot in
the door by getting them listed inside
the business then you set up their
website then you start creating ads for
them get them into the ads section here
with Google Adwords okay then you start
charging money for to get them on the
ads so you can charge maybe $1,000 a
month to to handle their ads for them
you could do s
you could do search engine optimization
on the new website that you just created
for them
there's all kinds of different upsells
that you do with a local business it's
just one of the easiest and it's the
best way to anybody in your local area
that you can get up and start getting
these businesses you know you start
getting these businesses start making
you money for yourself how do you
collect money you use PayPal okay you
can use PayPal to do that you can set up
a gig at Fiverr and then you can direct
them to fiber and they can pay through
Fiverr if you want to just use PayPal
and have somebody to do that now I
recommend you create some type of
business entity for yourself not I'm not
saying yet the you know go out and do a
business but just maybe if you have your
own website that you can show that that
these are the websites that I've done in
the past maybe give them something a
little bit more than then because
they're gonna ask you do you have
website yourself and if you can create a
simple WordPress website for yourself
just showing this information then it's
going to make it a little bit better
let's look at another example carpenter
carpenter is a somebody comes out and
you know does carpenter work on a new
home okay electrician is the same way
carpenter is another skill that people
have in your area so if we come down
here to you can see these are there's
gonna be a couple ads are here and if
you come down here we save more places
so here's another example
old-school carpentry okay you could call
this person up and say do you own this
business yes let me get you listed
inside of Google and they're gonna say
well what's the charge no charge why
because they don't have a web site so
what are you gonna do you're gonna set
them up with your business then onto
Google and then you say hey look I had
noticed you don't have a website set up
let's get you set up with a website so
what do you do you go over to seam
Forest you type in carpenter and you
looked here's a theme here's a a theme
right here that you could set up for
them okay mouton amazing woodcraft like
it's a good-looking theme you could put
this up onto WordPress and now you have
a a website set up for them also you
could say hey look you know mr. old
school carpentry business I'm gonna help
you get some ads going on it on AdWords
and start charging premiums for this set
up their website for a couple hundred
dollars start doing their ads for the
every month and charge a couple thousand
dollars just to run their ads if you you
could also do SEO and you can get them
into SEO you can use places like SEO
clerks or upwork and get other people to
actually do the Esso SEO work for you
but you charge them a premium to get
them listed so right now they probably
like this guy that he doesn't even know
he's probably even listed in google he's
still trying to do radio and TV and all
this other all this other stuff that
doesn't work but yet he needs leads he
needs business he needs traffic to his
website okay you coming out here like
this one right here so this person looks
like they're into the website but they
don't are into the Google my business
directory but they don't have a website
so you can reach out to them say a
notice you're in the directory but you
don't have a website so when people come
to come to this directory they don't
have a place to go there right now if
they say well we have a website then
charge them to get them into the
directories like up help them update
their directory you could charge them
$100 just to help them update the
directory here's another one I hear they
don't have a website you can call them
up I mean this one right here says own
your own business they don't even know
that they're in this right here okay so
they don't even know they're in this
directory so you you get them in the you
know get your foot in the door by
getting them listed into the Google
directory and then you can go and you
can set them up with a website just use
one of these templates you can use this
template over and over again if you want
to you can you could you know grab
another template if you want to me if
you're in the same area and you don't
want the exact same template but look at
all these different templates that you
can create so just find a Hostgator
account and you know a Bluehost account
with WordPress throw this wet this
website up and then charge this business
for this okay let's look at one more
example let's talk about a barber okay
so people that cut hairs for men using
me barbers obviously I don't need it but
this is going to be a great another
great listing here so you can see that
Americans shave like right a lot of
these are going to have websites on them
but if you scroll down here this person
is doesn't have a website so you could
reach out to them and say hey let's get
you a website what are you gonna do
you're going to go over to
themeforest.net
and you type in barber look at this
here's a barber template right here
here's another barber template right
here boom barber template Pro
then you come down here like this one I
hear Braden River barbershop
they don't even they don't even know
they're listed in here okay so they're
they have a business and but they don't
know that they're even listening direct
in the directory call them up say hey
you know do you is this your business
yes let me help you get you inside the
Google for business
great get them set up and then say I
knows you don't have a website let's get
you set up with a website get a website
going for them charge them to set up the
website then you start getting ads for
them saying hey you don't have ads you
need to get some ads going because like
I said a lot of these people are there a
lot of these businesses are using
old-school techniques that just don't
work anymore and when you come around
and you start helping these local
businesses you're gonna be set now these
are three examples that you could do I
mean you could go with chiropractors you
can go with dentists you can go with
there's all kinds of different skills
and businesses that people have in your
local area you just got to get creative
and just go through this process go
through the business directory in your
area then go to the theme forest find a
theme throw up a website form charge
them a premium for the website they're
gonna be you know they're they're gonna
think you're a hero when you come in and
you start generating more traffic and
more leads for them and they're gonna
pay you all kinds of money because the
money that they spend on this directory
is going to give them tons and tons of
new clients new new customers all that
you're gonna be a total hero and you're
gonna make tons of money and you're
gonna you're gonna create a great
business out of it when you help these
local businesses that's all you got to
do three great examples picks pick one
of them go through your local area find
some local businesses and then start
generating some income for yourself with
