okay welcome back guys like I said in

the intro I I want to share with you the

three things that I wish I knew when I

first started affiliate marketing and

these three things I think are very

important because they will save you so

much time headaches and money so go with

my experience and the time that I lost

and the time and the money that I lost

as well and learn by it just like I have

okay so the three things I wish I knew

before when I started affiliate

marketing and before I get to that if

with that said let's get into the video

so the first thing I wish I knew when I

first started an affiliate marketing is

this that nothing's as simple as it

seems okay I'm not saying that the

process of creating a life changing

income with affiliate marketing isn't

simple what I'm saying is the process

that you will personally are gonna go

through to get to that point okay your

personal process that you'll have to

endure to get to that point is not as

simple as it seems and what I mean by

that is that you're gonna run into some

roadblocks there are gonna be

frustrations there are gonna be times

you have to wake up early and still go

to your nine-to-five job and then come

home and make a decision that you want

to create a passive income and continue

working on your business online there

are sacrifices you're gonna have to make

okay it's like going out with friends

maybe or hanging out on the weekends

with your buddies you know or even

taking the family to dinner once in a

while I'm not saying to neglect your

family what I'm suggesting is this your

life that you are currently used to

before you jumped into this business

into the affiliate marketing is going to

change and it's going to change in a way

that it's

it's gonna really test your resolve you

have to be completely a hundred percent

in on the decision to create this online

business and along with that comes some

you know some some negative some

negative things like failing like

possibly losing some money because you

didn't know what you were doing like

sacrificing your sleep like and I'm not

trying to paint this horrible picture of

what's coming what's coming what I'm

trying to do is be real with you because

these are the things that I have gone

through personally why do I continue

doing it every day even though I've gone

through some of these things even though

I've lost money even though I've failed

many times in promoting products because

I know that I want to create a life of

freedom and a change in my life and I

know this is the way to do it and I know

and I see these these mentors and these

gurus doing it every day and I know I

can do that too but they say the same

thing that I'm telling you there is

going to be some strain on you sometimes

okay there are many nights that I would

come home from my job outside of this

business this affiliate marketing

business and I'd be up till 2 3 o'clock

in the morning creating my funnels or

creating my emails from my autoresponder

or you know searching for my offer I

would do that in many many nights and

then I would wake up at 6 or 6:30 at the

very that same morning and get ready

from to buffer to go back to my

nine-to-five so I am just what I'm

trying to convey to you is this that a

lot of people think well all you do is

you get a product you promote it you

send some traffic to it and then the

money starts rolling in the process is

really not that difficult of affiliate

marketing it's the disappointment you're

gonna go through in some cases it's the

sacrifice you're gonna go through so

those are the things that I'm talking

about so just keep that in mind you're

gonna have to work your butt off to make

this thing work ok but it can work it

will work and it

does work but you can't quit and that's

why

95% of philia marketers that start their

business online fail because they run

into these roadblocks or they're not

willing to sacrifice their sleep

sometimes or they'd rather sleep in or

they would rather just you know go to

their nine-to-five and that's just so

much easier because I'm used to it it's

comfortable okay those are the throw

blocks I'm talking about your personal

roadblocks so you got to remember those

and you got to get past those to make

this thing work okay

so which leads me into the second point

and the second point which is led in

from the first point that I wish I knew

when I first started affiliate marketing

is this that you have to understand and

accept and embrace the delayed success

that will come because we all want

immediate gratification we all want to

just push a button and the money starts

rolling in that's a dream world that is

never going to happen so if you're in

for the long haul you have to understand

gift us build your business it's like

any other business you open the door to

a brand new business it's there's no

telling how successful it's gonna be

it's not gonna be successful that first

day you've got to build your business

your reputation your following okay

you're the trust that you get you're

trying to convey to your to your

followers you have to build that over

some time so there will be success but

there has there's gonna be a delayed

success so you've got to work and chip

away at it every day you've got to take

massive action every day you've got to

be focused and do these things every day

so that one day you will be able to look

back and say I'm a success in affiliate

marketing because I didn't give up I did

what it took to make it happen okay and

I'm a perfect example of how affiliate

marketing should work these are the

things you're gonna look back and say

once you get there and you will get

there you just cannot quit no matter

what okay so don't expect immediate

gratification immediate success okay

you've got to understand

it does take time and it does take work

just like anything else because if it

were that simple if it was if it were a

get-rich-quick overnight then why

wouldn't everybody be doing it nobody

does it there's only a small percentage

of people that do affiliate marketing in

this world because it's not it doesn't

work for everybody because not everybody

is willing to put in the time and the

effort or wait for that success and it

will come if you're doing the right

things and taking action every day I

promise you that it will come but you

have to be patient and you have to work

at it every day so the like the third

and the last thing I wish I knew when I

first started affiliate marketing is I

wish I had a mentor that I got involved

with a mentor so I decided I could do

this on my own and I'm not saying you

can't do it on your own there are many

successful stories out there if people

have done it on their own but the market

has changed so much affiliate marketing

has changed quite a bit even in the few

months that I've been doing it it has

changed so the mentors are in my opinion

the professors of affiliate marketing

there always have that they always have

their finger on the pulse of what's

changed and what's going on in affiliate

marketing okay so a good mentor will not

just show you the basics you know that

you know how to build funnels and how to

create an autoresponder and how to write

an email but they'll also talk to you

about your mindset they'll also talk to

you about the things that we're talking

about right now about you know you've

got to have the resolve and and the

tenacity to continue every day that I

wish I had that because I am when I

first started I I was I lost so much

money because I didn't know what I was

doing because I decided not to go with a

mentor I currently have a mentor now and

a coach and this person has really shown

the light to me and all the things that

I've done incorrectly and how he can

help correct

than for me and with me along this

journey and I'm starting to see the

results as a result of that but I spent

so much time so many hours learning so

much money investing in the wrong things

there bad traffic bad offers I probably

lost an excess of maybe 3 to $3,500 in

just a few months of making wrong

decisions now a lot of cloudy you will

say well mentors they charge for for

their mentorship well of course they do

why do they do that because they've been

through it and they're gonna save you

money and time because of their

expertise there's value there so let me

put it in perspective had I initially

acquired a mentor when I first started

in affiliate marketing

the 3 to 3500 dollars that I lost from

making bad decisions not not on purpose

but I just made bad decisions bad

choices I lost money making you know you

know promoting were the wrong products

and sending wrong traffic to it and not

creating the right traffic or the sales

funnels or the things like that I lost

$3,500 or so had I invested in a mentor

to begin with let's say $1,000 I would

have saved $2,500 over the course of a

few months and I would be learning so

much quicker I would be more efficient

and I would be able to pass along this

information to my viewers as well like

I'm doing it today so I'm not saying

you've got to spend a thousand dollars

on a mentor I'm not saying even have to

spend money on a mentor what I'm saying

is you need to follow the right people

and put the right people around you and

listen to the right noise okay if you

want to be a success and take it in okay

pick people's brains see if they can get

on a Skype call with you email them for

information you got to do what you need

to do so that you can be prepared and

armed with all the right information so

that when you do pull out that credit

to spend money on on traffic or to spend

money on a course or whatever the case

is you know that you're making the right

decision

okay so look into getting a mentor I

wish I knew that when I first started

affiliate marketing that could have

saved me so much time and so much effort

and a great mentor is worth his weight

in gold that is my true belief and that

is my philosophy and and again I wish I

knew that when I first started affiliate

marketing so with that said guys I

wanted to share this video with you

because these are the things that I've

been through personally the things I've

learned over the course of several

months of creating my own online

business and I hope this helps some of

you you know and maybe kind of stepping

back and thinking about what you're

doing and thinking about okay can I do

this in a better way

is there is there another resource out

there is or somebody that can help me

with making maybe maybe looking at it

from you know a you know from a person

I'm the outside looking in and maybe

give me some critique on it and or maybe

make a suggestion so I don't pretend to

know everything about affiliate

marketing I've only scratched the

surface but I've learned so much in the

past five or six months of doing this

and speaking with my mentor three to

four times a week I've learned so much

that I want to share these things with

you my viewers so that you won't have to

make the same mistakes that I did when I

first started in this business so I hope
