going to talk about five email marketing
tips to help you get up to 72 percent
open rate all right so in this video
what I want to talk about I'm going to
go over to my computer we're going to go
through the five steps let's talk about
email marketing if you're not
incorporating email marketing into your
business it's so important it's going to
be the absolute pinnacle of your
business in fact ninety percent of my
income comes from my email list okay so
that just gives you an idea of where I'm
at with my email list now if people tell
you email is dead right now
you got to smack them in the face
because they don't know what they're
talking about it's funny because a lot
of the people that say emails dead
they're actually they're running
Facebook ads and they're sending it to a
opt-in form to get an email list okay so
it doesn't really make any sense some of
these guys would say well emo is dead
right but then they're just sending
right into an email form okay email
marketing has been around forever even
margin is always going to be around as
long as social media and all these sites
use email to follow up with okay so to
log into Facebook you need an email
address you can't have a Facebook
account without an email address so you
know in Twitter and all these do is
social media is all the same alright so
but the point thing is once you get
someone on your list right you don't
want to have one or two open rates
I mean percent open rate that'd be
terrible you never get people open up
and then we get people click on your
link so what I'm going to do we're going
to go to the computer and I'm going to
walk you through five really email
marketing tips to help you increase your
email marketing open rate and they get
more clicks more money
life is good and you'll be happy alright
so let's go over the computer alright so
here are five email marketing tips to
increase your open rate as high as 72
percent open rate when I started you
taking these these marketing tips and
utilizing I sell them open rates really
take off and skyrocket so if you're not
you know email marketing right now jump
right into it you got to get into it got
to get into it quick building your list
and then start emailing your list so the
first one is going to be make it
personal so when you're sending out
emails to people on your list you know
make it personal one
one thing that I like to do is is I like
to say maybe the date of the week so hey
it's Tuesday or you know how's your
Wednesday going what's you know how's
your Friday going today things like that
so what it does it makes it look like
it's a minute it doesn't make it look
like but it shows you that you're
actually writing the email and sending
it out what happens a lot of times
people get these you know 50 60 day
autoresponder emails that go out and
they just look they just you know this
that you can tell they're they're like
machine sent out like the robots sending
out so I like to you know make it
personal that way people know exactly
that I'm sitting down my computer
everyday and I'm physically writing
these emails and sending them out
because if if you have a 50-day email
sequence that goes out you can't really
say hey great Tuesday you know because
it would probably be Saturday when that
person actually gets that fourth mail
whenever it goes out so make it personal
second ones can be write to your best
friend so this is really important too
because when you're writing you want to
make sure you write in to one person and
I like to think of a good friend of mine
and I'll just sit down with them like
I'm sitting down at a coffee shop so if
you sit on a coffee shop and you talk to
them about marketing and business and
strategies know that what do you talk
about we talk about you know marketing
strategies and then what you want to do
is keep it you know like hold on make it
back keep it in when you're talking to
your friend in a coffee shop you know
you're using words like um and yeah and
things like that those are things you
want to write in your email you don't
want it to be
this dislike you know copywriting genius
emails that go out you want to make sure
that that you are sending out you know
you're talking to your best friend
you're talking to you one person when
you're writing emails you don't want to
do like hey hey y'all or hey gang or or
hey everybody it's just one person when
you're sent out emails create relevant
headlines
okay so headlines are going to be the
second most important thing in your
email the first thing is going to be
your name so you want to make sure your
name is always coming you know from your
name you never want to have it to be if
you want have to be an alias that's
great but then if you're trying to brand
yourself and you show up to to do a
seminar you know you show up to a
seminar and you've been you know John
blow from before now sudden you're your
you know first name is Harry it's not
going to really work out so make sure
it's the same name always going out but
so the headlines give me the second part
headline is going to be be able to grab
attention to somebody so when they they
see your names and they go to the
headlines headlines needs to be
something that's going to entice them to
open up your email I ask questions you
know questions like just any any type of
question to get open up I like to use
secrets I like to use the word new I
like use video in the headlines things
like that or you know like one of the
best headlines that I've always used is
like bad news or any type of you know
you look at news they always use these
crazy bad news there's always there's
always news always use you know like
news alert so always you need to learn
something like that those those get
people to stop and look and see what's
going on okay so headlines need to
really grab people's attention because
what happens is is people they're on
your list - probably on about five or
six other lists maybe ten twenty of
their list so you got to be able to
stand out from all the other marketers
that are out there trying to grab the
attention of your the people on your
list next one is gonna be segmenting
your list so if you have an opt-in form
that's just about let's say email
marketing then you put email marketing
people into an email marketing list if
you have a landing page it's all about
Facebook marketing you want to put them
in a facebook marketing list
so then when you go back and you send
out your emails if you send out an email
to your list and in you know you've been
talking about email marketing you're
sending to your email marketing list and
then all sudden you send them a thing
about hey jump on snapchat this is the
greatest thing it's going to really
throw them off because these people are
really interested in email marketing so
you want to make sure you're sending
that so you know for me mine is kind of
a broad you know I have some segmented
lists that I sent out to you but most of
it is broad because I do a lot of just
general marketing but you want to
definitely save much a list now I have a
buyer's list and I have like a freebie
type list and I I will segment those out
from when people buy your product you
definitely want to be promoting your
products to people that are on your list
you know that bought your product
definitely okay so if all you do is
really just segment your buyers and
epimer free then your own good start if
you can really segment out by the niche
or the topic of your landing page then
you're really going to set one out and
do great okay all right so the last one
can be daily consistency this is so
important you got to be mail it every
day every day has to be you got to send
out one mail sometimes I send out to
males but every day you had to be
consistent and if you do in the morning
that's the first thing you should be
doing is typing up your email and send
it out if you think you're going to send
out one week or once a month people are
going to forget about you and there and
there you're going to be no you know
you're not going to be relevant to them
and what happens is if you send out like
once a month they're going to get this
email from you and then guys probably
think it's spam because they don't hear
from you you might think that you know
if they if you might think that sending
out Bailey's you're getting a lot of
complaints it's actually quite the
opposite when you send out once a week
or once a month you get way more
complaints and you would be if you're
sent it on a daily because if you send
out daily they can you know your list
knows that it's you that send it out
they know that it's coming from you and
then they can expect that okay so there
