9 Tips for Growing a Successful Business


Okay, so you have a business going right now and it's not really going the way you want it
Maybe it's not
Moving forward like you wanted to maybe it's not growing as fast as you wanted to I'm gonna give you nine tips that have helped
Me grow my businesses to multi seven figures and has allowed me to live the lifestyle that one

Tips so you can go out there and create a business for yourself and let it grow quickly

It's one of those things that if you if you're in business for yourself
It's just one of those things that everybody wants to grow their business fast
They want to they want to get it up and running. They want to get it rolling quickly
So let me go through these nine with you and hopefully these will help you take your business to the next level
The first one is just getting organized
Just getting organized on what it is that you're doing on a daily basis, okay?
Getting organized is a matter of just cleaning off your desk
Okay, you can start there getting organized is cleaning off your computer screen
Just clean clearing off your space that you're gonna be working your business in you got to start there if it's a mess
It's a and you're just papers and crap all over the place. That's not organized biess be minimalistic be simplistic
Only have the things that you need in front of you at all times. Okay, so get organized that means getting organized online, too
So you have the the software and the programs that you need in order to help your business grow?
Just getting organized is one of those things
It's not necessarily of having everything in place, but it's just having a minimalistic type of approach to your business
The next thing is gonna be keeping detailed records now. I'm not talking
I'm like I'm talking about like just making sure that you can get as much
Write-offs for your business as you can I use a program called Expensify and I have it linked up to my email
So any time receipts come in for my business, it just automatically goes into Expensify and it is automatically in there
So then I can go at the end of the year and I can pull up all my data
But I keep detailed records of all that plus I also keep detailed records of all the things that I purchased my correspondence everything
I use Gmail
It's a it's an archive of everything that I've correspondent over the past, you know, 10 15 years on my business online
so make sure you keep in you know detailed records because you may have to go back and
get that also what I like to do is I like to use
Expend our I like to use Evernote right Evernote is another program that I use a lot to keep my things organized
I can always go back and and look up what I need from Evernote. Alright, the next thing is analyzing your competition
So if you're in business for yourself, you want to go out there and find your competition
Okay, it's so important you go out there and see what they're doing. Maybe you can pull some ideas from them
Maybe you can see what they're doing and and maybe tweak it around a little bit. Make it better
So always be looking at what your competition is doing all the time, you know, there's an old saying that Walmart
Who's the Sam Walton who started Walmart?
He used to sit in the Kmart parking
lot
and he used to
he used to do have detailed records of all the people that went in all the cars that came out and he would sit and
They came out parking lot and just study them and just look at what they're doing and see how their their process works
You know trucks coming in and cars coming in all that detail and what he did was he created Walmart based on K Mart's?
You know structure and he just made it better and he and Kmart
I don't think is in a business anymore and Walmart's a huge company. Okay
So look at what your competition is doing study them and maybe you can come out with something. That's a little better
Maybe it's something that helps your business your customers
You know achieve success a lot quicker
next thing you want to do is understand the risk and rewards with your business any time you put money in you want to
Understand that's a risk
Okay any time that you put in time that you put in that's a risk time is valuable and understand the rewards for it
too if you do put money in and you're buying advertising and you're buying new products and you're buying
Anything to expand your business?
understand the risk involved in that but I don't understand the rewards that that
You can't achieve from that now. I'm not talking about going and blowing all your money
You got to be really understand where you're putting your money
If you're putting money into important things like, you know, help him grow your business
Then those are gonna be the things that it's going to help your business if you're putting your money into stuff that you don't need
Okay
office supplies, you know
Desks, and and big employees if you're just getting started you don't need all that stuff
you need to be lean and you mean to make sure that all of your money goes towards growing your business whether
Attracting new customers attracting new traffic to your to your online business
Okay, so understand the risks and rewards when you're putting your own capital and your own time into your business
The next thing that's going to be creative you want to make sure you're always being creative
Finding new ideas looking for new things that you can do always try to change things up
Okay be creative in your approach to your business
If you're online be creative and try to do things a little differently if you're studying you're your competition and you're seeing what they're doing
Just think in your mind
Okay, let me be a little bit more creative on the thumbnails that I'm creating from my youtube channel
Or let me be more creative on the post that I create on my, you know, Facebook page
Okay, so be creative on things that you do
The next thing you want to do is stay focused. All right, this is so important stay in focus is absolutely vital to your business
If you're all over the place and watching videos all day on YouTube
Or if you're going from Facebook and Instagram, and you're always on your phone, you're not staying focused
You always have to stay focused on what it is that you're doing
Stay focused on the task that you're trying to accomplish with your business. Okay?
I mean, it's I can go on and on about staying focused but it's one of the hardest things to do
I get it but it is one of the most important things to do is and anytime that you're working on one thing whether it
An hour of your time stay focused on just that part of your business
Okay. The next one is be prepared to make sacrifices. Alright, you got to make sacrifices in order to grow your business
This is so important like if you're constantly going out every night and partying maybe you start to
Sacrifice your partying that you're going out if you're constantly spending money on stuff that you don't need
Maybe you got to cut back on that. There's gonna be a lot of sacrifices and building your business
Specifically you got to look at the time that you're what are you? What are you spending your most time on?
What are you doing? Are you constantly just wasting a ton of time doing nothing?
Well, you got to think you know
You got to start thinking about
What you're gonna start?
Sacrificing you might have to start sacrificing the time with your family in order to grow your business. You might have to start sacrificing maybe
You know you maybe you're in a house that you can't afford maybe get rid of it
Maybe have cars that you can't afford you got to get rid of them
Got to get lien when you're building your business
If you're wanting business to grow you can't have all this this extra stuff that's hanging over your head
In order to grow your business. Okay. So be making sacrifice is so important
Next thing is provide great service
If you have a customer base always be providing great service for your customers if they're always reaching out to you and they need help
Provide the service to them now
I'm not saying you got to be all day helping your customers because make sure you understand
Your customers are the ones that pay you the money
So for me the the customers that I support are the ones that are going to pay me for my business
For my products and all that the people that don't put their money up that don't spend the time and money
I don't really spend any time with them because they're not showing any type of
Effort from them to go out there and get the training that they need in order to be successful. Okay, so
provide great service all the time Amazon one of Jeff Bezos
Mottos is just having great support and great service for his customers
That's why Amazon is the biggest company in the entire planet
because all he focuses on is making sure the customers are happy all the time and
The last one so important is be consistent. Okay, you look at me. I create videos all the time on YouTube
I'm consistent. I continually make videos. Okay, I'm always posted on Facebook. I'm always getting it out. There be consistent
You can't just show up one day and then take off for the next five and then and then all sudden get excited again
Show up for the next three days and then take off for another two weeks. Okay, that's not being consistent
Consistency is everyday you set up a couple things you need to do every day if it's online
You post every day you create a video every day you go to Facebook every day and you create all kinds of content
Consistency is is one of the habits that if you could form and you can get it going early
Your growth and your business will take off
You know, it will really take off. Okay. So there you go. Those are nine successful business
Strategies that you can use in order to successfully grow your business and help it, you know, get up and get running quickly
