hey what's going on guys this is episode
number two of my affiliate marketing
journey where I'm documenting how I'm
starting a brand new project where I'm
creating an authority website rank it in
Google and start making money with
affiliate marketing for those of you who
don't know me my name is Alex and
welcome to my channel money is awesome
why share tips on how to succeed online
so it's been about a couple of months
since my first episode of my affiliate
marketing journey where I announced that
I'm going to start a brand new project
and that I'm going to be documenting
this very journey on this channel and
today's the second episode where I'm
going to share with you how the
preparation is going and what I've done
so far also speaking all of this time
from the first episode and this one it's
been about couple of months I could have
done way more than I actually have there
are various reasons to this and
Christmas holders and I had to finish a
couple of other projects that I was
working on before that but I'm happy
that I actually took an action a huge
and the website for this project is
already ready and set up but let me tell
you step by step what I did the very
first step that I had to do was to do
niche research that's right not keyword
research keyword research goes after
that but niche research and by niche
research I had to kind of meet different
kinds of requirements for the niche to
be sure that I not only will be able to
succeed within this niche that it has to
be not only not overly competitive but
at the same time it should be
competitive enough in order to have that
potential of high level of income in
future when I start ranking and
potential in growth as well because I
don't plan to publish like 5 to 10
articles and forget about this website I
plan to publish a lot of
articles and keep growing and growing
until my niche website will become an
authority in this very niche and this
niche is really really broad and
relatively competitive but at the same
time it's not overly competitive even
having a brand new website without too
many backlinks without too much content
on the website I still will be able to
rank it in Google and starts and driving
traffic just like that before we go to
the step number two I want to mention
that for this project since I decided to
build a high authority website which I
never did before
all my previous projects and websites
excluding of this channel were kind of
like micro niche websites they were
niche websites in a very narrow micro
niche with the very few articles and you
know really low competition it was
relatively easy to set up and succeed
with those micro niche websites but when
it comes to building an authority
website you need let's say another level
of preparation another level of kind of
research another level of setting
everything up in the right way in order
to succeed if you are going to build an
authority website you know in a chaotic
manner as I was doing before then most
likely you will fail or not necessarily
fail but it would take you a lot more
effort and you will not succeed as good
as if you prepared properly and for this
very reason I decided to get some help
and this help is called the authority
side system is the course that I
actually did a review I will drop the

and those guys are actually specializing
on building the authority sites on the
internet ranking them in Google one of
those
sighs that they built and ranked in
Google in eighteen months after they
built that website they sold that
website for high six figures can you
imagine that it could be from half a
million to 900,000 so they obviously
know what they're doing at the moment
when they already chose a niche and
decided that I'm going to go into
exactly this niche I also followed their
own procedure just to make sure that
this niche meets all the requirements in
order to be to be successful as
successful as the website that they sold
for high six figures number then the
next step that I had to do was keyword
research these first two steps niche
research and keyword research are
probably the most important ones they
are the defining whether or not you will
succeed if you will go for overly
competitive niche it's unlikely that you
will succeed that you will rank that
website anytime soon you would need too
much of investments of effort and time
in order to start ranking yet getting
traffic for this reason I took my time I
did everything properly and thoroughly
and did my keyword research to find the
lowest hanging fruit possible also
speaking I even found not the lowest
possible but the lowest competition
possible for those keywords that have at
least 100 monthly searches I'm sure
there are way more keywords and keyword
phrases that have let's say 15 monthly
searches but they have even lower
competition so I might even get back and
look for those even lower hanging fruits
just to rank as soon as possible because
the lower the competition the easier is
going to be to rank and start getting
traffic I stick you with research I
actually decided to also follow the
authority site system and they are kind
of procedure there tutorial how they are
going about this step and they actually
provides the students with an excel file
with four tabs that you have to fill out
within you
niche research and keyword research
process as soon as you fill out the
spreadsheet you can actually forget
about keyword research for quite some
time until you publish the articles for
all those keywords that you found within
this process and in addition to keyword
research you also do along the way you
also do competition analysis and
competition research so you kind of like
take all the websites of your
competition and put like kind of fill in
to this very spreadsheet so that you can
use this competition for future ideas of
content of keywords and all that you
also choose affiliate products that
you're going to promote for those
articles and you fill out that as well
in that same spreadsheet so when it
comes the time when you finish this
whole process of the research and move
on to the step where you have to start
writing content you actually don't need
to do anything else you can just use
this spreadsheet and you have all the
information ready for you in order to
start writing content or not writing
yourself ordering to kind of outsourcing
to the freelancers or writers services
so this whole process of the research
and preparation took me quite a bit of
time but right now it's going to save me
a lot of time and the third step that I
did is setting up at the website for my
project this was a very important step
as well because I had to set up the
website not just a random website with
no branding and so on but I had to set
it up in the right way in order to make
it look as an authority website for this
I even bought a logo I chose the fonts
that I wanted to use for my website
I picked the colors for my website in
order to match all that to mesh my
and make it Luke branded because you
know when you're browsing around and
when you visit one website or another
you can see that some of the websites
kind of stand out and you see that all
the little details made the difference
and fonts and colors and logo and when
they all come together they create this
kind of impact and trust when you visit
that website so I try to do the same and
do the best job I could and even here
the authority site system helped me
quite a bit because they go really deep
into setting up the website the tools
and websites that they use in order to
choose forms in order to choose colors
and all these small details so if I'm
really happy with these guys they
actually helped me to stick to the plan
and go one by one step by step and do
everything in order I will drop the link

so the step number four that I'm at
right now is a writing content and this
is actually one of the struggles that I
have to face in order to proceed with
this journey because I'm not a writer
myself I don't have this kind kind of
capability to write and engaging texts
the best that I can do you can read in
my emails if you are a subscriber of my
list but when it comes to writing
articles I feel that it's not enough and
I need to be kind of proficient in
writing engaging articles because I'm
creating high quality website and
English is not my native language and
you know I need to have one home sent
top-notch content as well and not just
500 words articles but really deep
research and high quality content so
right now I decided to write the
simplest articles myself
and at the same time I'm in the process
of searching for the content writers
high-quality content writers that are
not cheap that I'm not going to be as
cheap as ten dollars for 1,000 words or
something like that but I'm trying to
find the best combination of the price
value the best value for the best price
and I will share eventually as soon as I
find and test myself the content writers
and if I will be happy with them I will
share with you what I'm sent in my
future videos of this affiliate
