in this video I'm gonna be sharing with
you some tips on how to get more traffic
to your Amazon affiliate website and
hopefully make more money so let's get
started and always Alex here from WP
eagle thanks for watching so long you've
more tips on how to get traffic to your
Amazon affiliate website so I thought
I'd put this video together and share
with you a few of my favorite tips so
let's jump straight into them my first
tip for getting traffic to website is
you need to have a lot of products on
your site it's no good just adding 10 20
30 some of that you need over 100 at
least maybe even a thousand depending on
the market that you're in the more
products that you've got on your site
the more pages you've got in your site
and that means that there's more pages
for Google to index more pages that
Google index the more chance you've got
of one of those pages coming up
especially on the long tail searches so
when people are typing in you know six
seven eight nine words into Google
looking pretty specific if you've got a
lot of pages you've got a good chance of
those coming up for those type searches
and of course they all know up even if
each page only gets you know one or two
visits a day if you've got a thousand
pages you know that's a couple of
thousand visitors to say my second tip
is a tip that I'm always banging on
about and that is content you need to
create good content for your website
content that adds value you want to
produce content that gives people a
reason to come to your website over and
above just going straight to Amazon and
you want to give Google something to get
its teeth into as well rather than just
having the same stuff that Amazon has
because in today Amazon is always going
to outrank you let's just jump on the
computer and I'll quickly show you an
example of an Amazon affiliate site that
offers some really great content so
here's the site I want to show you you
can find it over at aster lives here
calm and it's an amazon affiliate site
that was created by a friend of mine I
think they're inspired by watching some
of my videos well hopefully but anyway
it's really Wu's own along with a custom
theme a portfolio theme I believe is
called kalium there we go which is
basically portfolio teams so it's got we
call my support of course but it's
generally for showcasing stuff so
perfect for this the thing that really
makes this website work is the content
as you can see it's up to
with current content about Mother's Day
and if you click through you can see
that they are creating really good
articles with content of course you can
delete content but unique on view it in
a kind of WooCommerce style or blue zone
style and then add to your basket and
check out as you do on any other Wu's
own site they've got a section here the
Edit which is basically all of their
blog posts and the way they're adding
value is by hand picking really good
products off Amazon
there's putting a bit of thought into it
and you know structuring articles around
some really good products here's a great
example of a post where they visited a
particular supplier of products they
visited their shop taking loads of
pictures put together a nice blog post
and then they're recommending products
and things towards the bottom they're
making great use of social media if we
go back up to the top we've got this
gallery section that's then linking off
to their Pinterest where they're adding
loads of great images of products and
things like that if we go back to the
site and supportin we can check out
their Facebook and we can see though
they have got too many likes and I think
the reason is if they've just had to
change their name and so they're
building up the light skinned but they
are posting on a regular basis that
almost six hours ago that one was
yesterday they've got nice photos and
videos just generally being very active
and trying to add lots of value to what
they're doing not just showcase leather
products they're adding some good
content good recommendations
yeah and really making a destination
site for people that are interested in
you know improving the look at their
home so do go and check them out and say
it's over astha lives here calm then
check out the site and hopefully can
inspire you to create some really good
content for your amazon athletes time my
next tip is to use social media you're
going to want to build up a good strong
Facebook following a good strong Twitter
following Instagram all of those social
media platforms are a great way for you
to generate some good traffic to your
site by capturing an audience that's
interested in what you have to offer and
again by offering some great content
which you then push out across your
social media channels you'll be able to
engage your people and they'll be
clicking back to your site time and time
again as and when you published us and
by using things like Facebook Ads
you can quickly boost the number of
likes you've got on your page to give
you a bit of momentum it leads on to my
next tip which again is about building
an audience and that is capturing email
addresses I've done a couple of videos
recently where I've shown you how to add
a email capture form to your Amazon
affiliate website and the same way of
social media building a list allows you
to continually talk to an audience
that's interested in what your site has
to offer and get them to keep coming
back and looking at your products
clicking for Amazon and making purchases
my final tip is just be patient these
things do take a little bit of time
you're not going to make money in the
first few weeks you want to build your
site put us a time and effort into it
then wait a little while and things will
start to happen I promise just don't be
too impatient give us some time keep
doing content keep adding products keep
using social media and eventually you'll
be getting traffic making sales and
achieving some success so at the end of
