in this video I'm going to be answering

some more of your frequently asked

questions around the Wuzhou amazon

affiliate website that we created in a

previous video if you don't see that

video then do check out the card up on

the screen now so in this video I'm

gonna be answering the following how

much as the website made that I created

in that video that's the boot boutique

site as I say it was launched back in

January so I'll be logging into my

Amazon Associates dashboard and taking a

look at the earnings the next problem

I'm going to be taking a look at is the

white link problem that a number of

people have been having this way you add

a link to some content and you can't see

it because it's white and it's on a

white background so we'll be fixing that

I'm also gonna be taking a look at the

Woo's own figures and stats that you get

from within the Woo's own dashboard and

let you know what I think about those

because a lot of people are saying that

they don't match up with the actual

figures that they've been seeing within

their Amazon Associates dashboard I'm

also going to be recommending a free

theme that you can use with wasone if

you don't want to buy Kingdom or flat

sum or any of the other premier themes

that are recommended and then finally

we're gonna be updating blues own to the

latest version and I gonna be showing

you exactly how you do that so let's get

started

hello it's Alex here thanks for watching

so let's jump straight into the

questions and the first one is one I get

quite a lot and that is how much money

have you earned off the boutique website

which is one I set up in the 2017

affiliate marketing website tutorial

video thing you know the one you've

probably seen it hopefully so let's just

jump on the computer and log into my

Amazon Associates account and have a

look

okay so River Amazon let's take a look

at the earliest now I haven't actually

looked in for a little while so this is

gonna be a little surprise for me as

well yeah I probably should have checked

before I started recording but hey I

like to be open so let's have a look I'm

hoping at least there's a couple of

sales in there there was a couple

actually when I checked back in early

Feb 2 scared that it's gonna be too late

okay oh there we go so this is this

month we've had four there were a fee or

earning of 18 pounds 46 pence which in

dollars is probably around $20 or

something like that let's have a look at

the full report and let's go back for

this quarter to date I say the site was

launched in January somewhere towards

the end of January I don't know exactly

so we're looking at around two and a bit

months to a half months worth of traffic

and sales I scroll down Wow there we go

the total is 41 pounds 72 in revenue

which is not too bad because I haven't

really done any work on the site I am

ashamed to say I haven't added any extra

content all that stuff that I tell you

guys to do in terms of keeping your site

nice and fresh and adding really good

content yeah I haven't asked you got man

to doing any of that so to earn 41

pounds without doing much he's not bad

going if we have a look at the products

you can see that there is quite a few

boots in there which is to be expected

as the site is all about boots but just

something you do get Commission on other

things as people you know buy boots and

then they buy other stuff for ammidon

and yeah you get Commission on the whole

lot but there we go

also I bought a nice 135 pound pair

there which is very nice Commission so

yeah there you go that's how much event

41 pound 72 which in dollars I'm

guessing well I don't even need to guess

I can just

googly-eye 41 pounds in dollar that's a

dollar symbol there I go $50 91 cents

yeah there we go

so yeah that's answer that question and

well let's go back and crack on with the

rest of the questions not bad eh for a

website that I haven't actually added

any content to since I launched it back

in January so hopefully that inspires

you guys to go on and create your

websites and hopefully you make some

money just like I have so no problem I'm

going to address it is the white links

one which is where you add a link to

some content and you can't see it

because it's white so again let's get on

the computer and I'll show you how to

fix that so I'm over at boot boutique

which is the website features in the

video as you know I'll stop saying that

because I think you all know that I'm

looking at a blog post here and we can

see that there is a gap look all of the

blank on boot boutique are genuine and

that's actually a link there ugh boots

and so we need to change that color to

something that we can see that would be

handy wouldn't it so to do that I'm

going to generate some CSS you'll find

this CSS code over on WPA Eagle calm I

push I can't paste this code into

YouTube they don't like it but yeah all

the stuff that you need to copy and

paste you will find over at WP would

come just look for the FAQ ten post

which if you're watching this but I just

put it up or probably be the latest one

if I've got around to publishing it

which hopefully I will ever get myself

organized but okay so let's generate the

code that we need I'm gonna use the

inspector that way you don't need to do

any of this all you need to do is copy

and paste the code which I'm about to

generate so there it is weirdly I don't

think there is a way of setting this

color in the customize when you come up

here which is normally where you will

come at an attack which is normally

where you set your colors as you've

probably already aware is it that one no

it's not that one it's in colors here

obviously yeah there's no option to set

link colors that may be it but then that

will mess up this so we're gonna have to

use some CSS as I thought so let's do

that now

just close that go back to here so it's

very simple change really

if you know what you doing I'm just

gonna change this to color let's just

put blue for now there we go we can see

it now and obviously you can put

whatever color you like in there just

use a hex code if you like so you know

the hash and then some letters and

numbers you'll find your color codes

when you use a drip at all in some

graphic software or you just type in a

kind of like blue or red or pink or

whatever so I'm just going to copy this

bit of code and say you'll find it over

30p eagle calm and then we go in to

customize and close this let's poke sit

down scroll down to the bottom

additional CSS and then scroll down to

the bottom in here then I'm just gonna

press an enter and then I'm gonna paste

it from a clipboard then I'm gonna save

and publish that's done let's close this

and then we've got our blue blue links

which is better than white links on a

white background as I'm sure you'll

agree so yeah I hope that helped you out

let's go on today's question I hope that

Circe or did your white link to pull

them out the next thing we'll look at is

the figures and statistics that you get

from wasone a lot of people have said

that they've been getting lots of add to

carts and you know redirects off to

Amazon being reported within here and

they're not been getting paid any

Commission and basically the figures

don't seem to match up with in Amazon

now the reason for that is is that the

wus own figures are wrong basically I've

run a number of sites running root zone

and all these figures just seem bogus

they're very overinflated and you know

they just don't seem to match up so my

advice is ignore those figures and check

out all your stats and stuff from within

your Amazon Associates control panel

dashboard thingy Bob next I'm going to

be recommending a theme you can use with

wasone and it's absolutely free of

charge that theme is storefront and you

can get it over at WooCommerce com

it's free to download to say and it

seems to work really well with zones so

yeah go check it out but basically any

theme that is what commerce compatible

should be fine with Louie's own for

those of you asking which other themes

can I use don't like the look of Kingdom

there yeah any would come a theme should

be good so I love to hear how you get on

when you use other themes with the

plug-in

finally let's update to blue zone to the

latest version I'm going to show you

exactly how to do

so let's get on the computer and get on

with it okay so first off we need to

download the latest version of Luzerne

you'll find it over at code Canyon net

on the in Vito marketplace it's gonna go

into my downloads over here I'm gonna

filter by code Canyon because I've got a

lot of stuff that I've bought from all

sorts of marketplaces on here and there

it is so I'm just gonna download and

there download all files documentation

you can probably download the

installable WordPress file only but I

don't know I'm a creature of habit and I

always download that one so let's have a

look at this super farm then you're just

gonna need to extract it it's gonna

create a folder like that which is nine

point zero point three point three it's

got two on the end of it cuz I'm

obviously oh there it is how did it

previously but nevermind this number

will change obviously when they update

the version within that folder you'll

find another folder called plug-in and

within there you'll find root zone dot

zip so let's go over to boot boutique

which is running well let's see which

fashion is running I think it's running

nought nine point nine point free so

look in we don't yeah so this version

has another point free on the end now it

is pretty straightforward all you need

to do is go into plugins find Wu's own

in here and then deactivate it I don't

worry you shouldn't lose settings

although and you saw if you saw my video

on when I update it to Kingdom version

free that didn't quite go to plan but

yeah but shouldn't lose settings so I'm

just going to now delete blues own say

don't panic it should all be fine so

that's been deleted and then we can go

to add new and then upload plug-in and

choose a file from our computer I can

just find it my very very messy computer

there it is the nine point zero point

three point three and then back into

that plug-in folder and then find Wu's

own dot zip and select it and then click

install now

then activate activate seems to

missclicked it then there we go nine

point zero point three point three has a

lot of points in that and it still got

all our facts and figures that as I've

just mentioned our a load of our rubbish

and then if I just go into my Amazon

config let's just check that there is

still some settings in here yep there's

my key and yeah I'm not gonna scroll

down any well because carbon bothers to

blow everything out it's a bit of a pain

they want to show you all my secrets and

all that but yeah it seems to have kept

all my settings all is good we're up to

latest version this is easy is that at

the end of this frequently asked

questions video if you've got any more

questions that I haven't answered yet
