in this video I'm gonna be answering a
question that I get quite a lot which is
does move zone work and can you make any
money out of it and all that kind of
stuff so let's get started

thanks for watching I hope you're all
well I'm back from Spain back in the
all that kind of stuff so I want to
answer a question I get quite a lot
which is you know does wounds don't
actually work and you know can you make
any money and all that kind of stuff so
I think the best way to answer this
question is to give you a real example
and for that example I'm going to use
beer shirts
you remember beer shirts I created it in
a tutorial a little while back if you're
not seeing that sure do check out the
cards I must make a note of which side I
need to point I never remember but yeah
click up there and you better watch the
video on how I made that site so since
launching that site the in terms of the
work that I'm actually done on it I've
obviously added some products which I
did when I set up the site and I
installed Yoast SEO and I submitted the
sitemap to Google I'm pretty sure I did
that and that's basically it I have not
added any content
I've not updated the products I'm not on
any social media not on anything that
you really should do in order to you
know promote your site so I guess you're
wondering you know is it working well
yes it is and it's only working at a
very small level to be fair but then as
I just said I've not done any work on it
so I wasn't expecting anything
the one issue I've got the site is that
I haven't added Google Analytics so I'm
not quite sure how much traffic is
getting so I'm going to install Google
Analytics today and get some data from
this point forward and then I'll do an
update maybe in a month or so and we can
actually have a look at how much traffic
but I do know that it's earned some
Commission and I do know that it's
coming up in Google without any link
building or anything just literally you
know doing some on-site SEO and you know
it's doing Yoast and submitting a site
map and it's coming up on Google page
one I'd like to add so I think probably
the best thing to do now is to jump on
the computer and I'll show my earnings
report and we'll do some searches on
Google and hey hey well even install
Google Analytics why are at it and and
then hopefully you'll get a picture that
you can create a
right and you can just forget about it
and you'll still earn enough money to
buy a couple of beers at the end of the
month maybe so yeah let's get the
Commission take a look okay so here is
my amazon associates earnings report and
we can see I've earned an amazing 13
pounds 79 pence which I think doing a
conversion in my head is probably around
$20 maybe a little less in US Dollars
and we can see that I actually started
sending over some clicks around what's
that sixth so that is June and then I
started earning back in August so it's
still quite recent very one I'm
recording this video on the 1st of
November so as I said on intro you know
I've not done any promotion or anything
like that I've literally just got to
sign up we can see that if we can see if
we look down here that people have been
ordering beer related things so there
definitely been going to my site and
ordering products so it begs to think we
know what kind of performance we gave I
had actually done some work on it but I
will find out going forward when I do I
should start adding some content and
stuff interestingly if we go over to
Google and what I'll do is actually I
open an incognito tab that way I'm not
logged in to Google and that way my
results aren't customized because I
think with Google is if you go over to
do some searches it will try and serve
results that it thinks you like so it'll
probably serve me beer shirts because it
knows it's my site and I like to go
there so we're going to incognito do
some searches they should be more
realistic so it should do a search for
beer t-shirts and ads across the top
we've got this site here brew shirts
which if we look at it actually is quite
similar to mine a bit better looking I
don't think it's an affiliate site and
and whatever it's quite nice but that's
coming out number one and if we scroll
down what and a half's this it's my site
wow that's pretty good especially as
looking at it I haven't even optimized
the title tags you know I thought I'd
done some actual SEO but
looking at it I haven't so that's pretty
cool that's working we can try some
different variations but yeah first page
of Google for a tournament that is good
let's just take out this space I mean a
difference I'm doing this whole life by
the way I've not done these tests so I'm
hoping that I'm not gonna embarrass
myself too much but yeah there we are
again we're there again I don't know
let's try something else
is some other searches this just click
this craft beer I'm not use the word
craft beer anywhere on a site I don't
think so be surprised if that is coming
up no but I could optimize around that
term we've got any 2nd page action no
that was a bit optimistic I think as I
hadn't actually a.m. use the word craft
anywhere on the site let's try funny no
there's no rankings there so the
rankings are quite limited but there is
a few rankings at least and you know
with the right bit of content I can
create some content around funny beer
t-shirts I'm sure I could get the site
ranking even better so this video is
going to be the start of an ongoing
project on this beer shirt site where
I'm going to get it ranked I'm gonna get
some more traffic I'm gonna earn some
more money I'm gonna show you exactly
what I do as i do that and i did mention
i'm gonna do analytics so why not do it
in this video
you don't got anything to do here you
got a few few extra minutes oh let's get
rid of porn mode don't need that so we
just load up and it takes quickly ok
what I'm going to do is I'm going to
quickly create a new property and to do
that I always forget to do that let's go
to admin I mean my eyes just look out
that'd be fine let's click on that and
click create new property the website is
beer shirts URL is beer shirts I don't
think it's got www is it
nope let's just plug that in don't need
a CH beep oh don't need the other I need
any of that stuff let's go so that's
done we can now just install a quick
plugin so go to plugins and add new I'm
sure you know how to do this and I
should have probably just done this in a
separate video but hey ho here we go yep
and this one here's good the monster one
and then activate I think I'm just
trying to prove that you can add a thick
analytics in just two minutes if you're
really quick let's go to the Google
Analytics settings I don't know why I
keep up talking no-mind click
authenticate next get the code sign in
yes thank you copy copy and paste it in
now on let's do this select my profile
beer beer shirts make me thirsty all
this talk of beer will set jobs a
good'un
just put the automatic updates to minor
so I've got oolitic snout racking so in
a month or so what I'll do is I'll do
another video on this site and in the
meantime I'm gonna get some content up
I'm gonna set up a Facebook page and all
that kind of stuff and I will probably
do videos on those as well to keep you
in the picture but let's see if we can
get this site this fantastic Woo's own
site up and running properly getting
more traffic and earning more Commission
I mean hey let's say that maybe we could
get that Commission up to 100 in a month
what do you think because let's go back
to bulk of the earnings ok last month
was two pounds 65 September was good
that was 10 pounds nearly so let's see
when get up to maybe 75 100 a month
and let's see if we can get there in a
few months you know by early next year
all being well - in January because you
know I want to show you guys that these
sites do work you can and money without
too much effort and and we're going from
there so yep that's it and I hope you
found that interesting let's go back to
me totally do the camera well hope
that's food for fort for you get you
thinking yeah that maybe you know if I
do some work on it which yeah I'm gonna
do I'm gonna do some work on it I'm
gonna add some more content I'm going to
share some stuff out and see if we can
actually build it up and make some some
good money off it but yeah just goes to
show that you can build a site you can
set it forget it and you will still earn
a trickle of money and you know maybe
even more it obviously depends on the
