channel that I promote and talk about
everything has to do with make money
online affiliate marketing if you're
looking to make money online and grow
and scale your business that's this
that's what this channel is about today
I want to introduce somebody who I'm
very very impressed with and I think you
will be too
she is I'm doing my very first in an
interview on my channel and she is a
self-taught makeup artist that has a
very large following on Instagram and
now is transitioning over to creating
her YouTube channel this is relevant to
my channel because my channel is all
about growing your business and scaling
your business and Victoria here has
actually been able to do that with
so Victoria welcome welcome to my
channel I'm looking forward to the
interview by the way guys she's also
happens to be my daughter so I'm super
excited about interviewing you and not
just because you're my daughter but
because there's a lot of people that try
to grow their YouTube channel and don't
have great success there's a lot of
people that try to grow their Instagram
page and they don't have a lot of
success so we're going to talk about
that briefly but before we get into that
tell us a little bit about yourself and
tell us what got you into you know
makeup and doing start doing tutorials
and on your Instagram page and what and
how you got that huge following of yours
so tell us a little bit about yourself
first I'm 20 years old
and I have two children I have a
three-year-old and I have a six week old
beautiful children so it's very
time-consuming doing makeup you know
being on social media and making that a
full-time job as well as being a
full-time mom well so that's good so
what it what what made you decide to
start doing the makeup what made you
decide in what when did you realize like
I'm really good at this I've got a
talent here and then you decided to
start posting pictures and videos on
Instagram
well I've ever since I was a sophomore
in high school I've always always loved
makeup and that's my starting really
getting into makeup but I just recently
started my Instagram business makeup
page in March of this year 2018 and
really I just found motivation from
other makeup artists because I thought
well if they can do it why can't I do it
I can do it you know anyone can do it so
that's awesome that's awesome yeah I've
seen a few of your videos I've seen a
lot of the tutorials you've done in
pictures and you have and I'm gonna put
some pictures and in this video guys did
to kind of see the type of work that she
does I know it has nothing to do with
affiliate marketing the makeup part of
it but if you appreciate talent and he
appreciates skill you'll appreciate what
Victoria can bring and the biggest part
of it is in my opinion is the fact that
she was able to grow such a huge
following in such a short amount of time
she has almost 6,000 followers on
Instagram and she's been doing it for
less than four months and these are all
all of these for all they're all organic
followers there it's not followers that
she's paid for are you they bought two
get people that to him these are all
organic followers from doing tutorials
and doing videos so what is it like when
you start seeing your your your
followers grow what's the feeling you
have you know especially that you've
done it organically right well I think
at the beginning when I first started it
was really hard because you know your
followers you have to get like you said
you have to grow if it grows slowly and
slowly but then you know you got you
have that one
you know just very happy and overwhelmed
but you people really wanted to see my
work and it just made me feel more
secure and confidence and it pushed me
to create more more more art more makeup
okay what's awesome
that's good so what are what are your
goals right now with your YouTube
channel now you haven't posted any any
videos yet on YouTube so this is kind of
a transition for you but what are your
goals right now when creating your
YouTube channel so that you can actually
really expose more of your art and your
talent to more and more people I mean I
just I don't know I I want to take it
step by step
learn the YouTube way so this is
different from Instagram so and it took
me a while to get the hang of Instagram
and to expand my work to figure out the
algorithm all that stuff so I just want
to you know focus on good quality
content and you know just to give people
some sense of motivation
some sense oh look she can do it I can
do it too kind of thing so and also just
to help people with makeup help them
learn teach them that's good now with a
really hectic schedule and having two
kids to take care of where do you find
time to do these videos and do these
tutorials and things like that it's got
to be difficult so I either get up
really early and 6:00 in the morning is
early for me so I either get up at 6:00
in the morning and start a video
tutorial and I'll take me about four
hours to finish or some nights I'll stay
up till three in the morning doing
videos creating a look so it's just I
lose a lot of my sleep and a lot of my
time but it's worth it because I know
it'll it'll be worth it in the future
and definitely awesome well guys that
basically tells you that's somebody even
with a busy busy family life with
minimal time to meet to create her art
is basically not finding an excuse not
to do it she's taking massive action and
that's really another key point about
affiliate marketing and promoting
yourself and promoting anything a
product whatever it is that more people
get stuck in my opinion on learning
everything on how to do everything but
never take action you know I'm not the
best at making YouTube videos but guess
what I have about 18 of them on up right
now and hopefully they're getting better
as I go but I decided I was going to
take action so just like Victoria is
doing and that's that's great advice for
somebody as young as her that hey you
know what she has family and she has her
time that she has to take care of her
family but at the same time she makes
time to do what she is talented and
wants the you know everybody to see her
you know her finished product so that's
great advice
so with that said Victoria is there
anything else is there any other advice
you can give our viewers on not has not
really just makeup but just in general
about growing or scaling your business
is there anything you can help us I mean
it's obviously you know you you have to
put in the work hard work
be dedicated

you know like my dad would be
you can't find any excuse
if you really want to

so always be positive and always thank
your supporters show them love because
you know you're not where you are now be
because you did all by yourself they
definitely gave you that platform so
yeah I mean just just always don't ever
stop because even though we can it can
look like it's taking years and years
you'll get there one day
you will you know you just have to take
the time be patient and I mean just
always be consistent put good content
that people want to see and just always
believe in yourself you know if it
that's all it is it's just believing in
yourself having that confidence at
security awesome awesome that's great
advice and it's true it you've got to
have value in your content and obviously
Victoria has the knows the key to that
because she has a large following on
Instagram and they love her content so
she is giving them value and you know
it's in YouTube and and affiliate
marketing is obviously a business just
like her niche is a business at the end
of the day but it's a an organic
business that you can grow if you have
valuable cut our value in your content
so we wish Victoria all the best of luck
maybe when her channel grows and I'm
sure it will grow a lot faster than mine
maybe she can get me on there and maybe
I can do an interview with her but I was
super excited to to talk to you today
