Google back and I won so a few years ago
I had a blog going and I was trying to
build up a network marketing business at
the time and so I had a blog that was I
was cranking out articles every day I
was doing blog posts I was doing guest
blog posts and I had you know just I
started to really generate a ton of
traffic through Google the search
engines was a lot of my articles were a
blog post or on page one for a lot of
keywords a lot of really good keywords
that people are searching for they were
clicking on them come to my blog and I
was getting I was generating tons of
leads from this too so if people come to
my site they were there reading my blog
and they were opt-in to my off my email
form which is great and so this went on
for probably a good year or so and I was
just living you know living good I had
all this tons of traffic free traffic
coming in I had to pay for it Google was
was great you know look at my stats and
and I was at the time the peak I was
probably generating close to 4,000
unique visitors every day to my blog
throughout my blog and through my
articles and I was generating probably
around 100 new leads a day I want to say
100 new leads a day which was great
because my email list was built but it
was just it was complete you know it was
increasing all the time but then one day
I charted checking my stats and I saw my
stats start to decline decline decline
and eventually I got to the point where
as I was getting zero traffic absolutely
zero traffic well if you're new to
internet marketing if you're new to this
Google came in I say they basically
change their their algorithms around and
just took all my websites from page 1 to
about page 10 and I just lost all the
traffic now luckily it's called the
Google slap right and that's what
happens they slap a ton of marketers all
the blogs articles all that just slapped
it put a stack to page 10 who knows why
I don't know why I never really tried to
figure it out I had to lick my wounds
for a few days but the way that I one is
I
created I was creating a email list now
I had a small email list going at a time
and so what I got to be able to do is I
was able to to email my list and
generate traffic through that email list
so that's how basically I beat Google is
that I was generating my list through
the traffic and you know I see a lot of
people that what happens is they they
create these blog posts and there's no
way to opt-in to the forum and that's
what you want to do is you want to be
able to get people into your opt-in form
get them on your list that way you can
follow up with them and that's what
really saving that's how I slap Google
back ok as I you know they slapped me
with my art my my traffic and then I was
able to take my list and grow from that
I mean I obviously I needed to go find
different traffic sources through paid
ads and all that but I still had my list
and I had my list right then as soon as
my traffic was done with Google and I
was able to start email my list with
different offers and different
promotions things like that so I never
really it never really kind of bothered
me yes it did but the list is what kind
of saved me and helped me get back in
business alright so there you go hope
