video will talk to you about paid
traffic and pay traffic that doesn't
paid traffic that's good and kind of
some you know some traffic based sources
that aren't as quality I think okay so
the big three in traffic right now is
going to be Facebook Ads you got Google
Adwords and they get YouTube ads these
are going to be the big three right now
this is where you're going to be able to
get your products or offers and some of
the right people this is where you're
going to be able to scale your business
up quickly because you're getting able
to just get targeted traffic from that
okay that's going to be where you want
to focus your energy now you have
Facebook ads which are going to be
interruption marketing so somebody comes
to your or if you're on your Facebook
newsfeed and you go scroll down you see
an ad that pops up that's going to be
interruption marketing similar to if
you're watching TV and all the sudden
commercial pops up that's interruption
marketing now with Google AdWords you go
to the search engines and you type in
you know how to let's say how to buy a
you know what you had a how to buy a
garden hose okay I want to pop the first
thing pop to my head how to buy a garden
hose okay you would go there and you
type that in now a savvy marketer who
has a garden hose business maybe
ourselves garden hoses we put that ad in
front of that keyword okay that would be
a keyword that somebody would put in
there like if you're selling garden
hoses you would put that that your link
in front of that keyword that that's
going to be really targeted because
people are actually physically typing in
how to buy something okay so how to get
something or how to do something and
your link pops up an ad in Google that's
going to be very good targeted you know
it's going to be a very good targeted ad
and you got to be just be careful with
that because you're going to be
competing against a lot of people who
are spending a lot of money Google
AdWords is is where a lot of the big
companies that don't really know what
they're doing okay they don't really
care what they're doing they just dump a
bunch of money into into Google AdWords
keywords and it kind of ruins it for the
marketers who really want to use
platform but Google really doesn't care
because they're getting tons of money
from it Facebook Ads it's going to be
different because now let's before I do
that let me talk about YouTube ads
because you do ads are gonna be similar
to that you can actually go to a video
that somebody will pull up so somebody
has a video that you know how to how to
how to get guitar lessons right you can
actually put an ad in front of that
let's say you have your own guitar
lesson business you could put that ad in
front of that video and you could show
that and somebody can click on that and
goes to your offer
so YouTube ads is going to be a
different way now YouTube ads going to
be more of an interruption marketing
because they're going to show those ads
before you get to the video but if you
do it right then you can if you mix up
your ad with the actual video it really
works together and it works great okay
now but with Facebook Ads even though
it's interruption marketing it's really
a great place because Facebook give you
tons of data just like with Google all
you have really is keywords you can bid
on with Facebook you actually have all
kinds of different data you have data on
age you know the sex you have what they
like with it you know what pages people
like what all this this data that
Facebook has on people
you're able to use that and run ads in
front of those groups of people I mean
there's income there's there's people
that have how many kids in their
household what kind of cars they drive
we just get so much data with Facebook
ads it's unbelievable and you could
narrow this down you can find a small
group of people like fifteen twenty
thousand that is very targeted very
unique to your product and you could run
your ads just in front of those people
and you would probably see huge success
from that because people would see that
and resonate with that that would click
on your ad and they'd go to your offer
product okay
these are going to be the the paid
traffic sources that you want to go
after that it's important you understand
this pay traffic you can lose your shirt
on this okay you got to be careful with
this you can get taken on unpaid traffic
right you're going to put thousand
dollars in you may not see that again
okay you gotta understand that going
into it you got to be able to take that
thousand dollars it has to go to an
offer and have to recoup that money so
if you're only sell selling like a seven
dollar II
that means that you can only pay for
seven clicks to that that ebook in order
for you to break even if you're selling
a thousand dollar product okay you can
pay up you can spend up to a thousand
clicks right if it's if it's dollar
click you can spend up to a thousand
clicks in order to obtain that one
customer so you can understand that the
bigger your product on the back end
you're selling it's going to be better
for your ads on the front end so that's
what's really going to work with
Facebook it's tough to do like a
seven-hour ebook and try to upsell them
and all that you really need to go from
Facebook ad to a big-ticket item 997
$2,500 maybe get them on the phone and
do a coaching program where you're
charged in five ten maybe fifteen
thousand dollars for your coaching
program okay so that's how you run
Facebook ads now some of the ones that
the paid traffic
aren't really good buy sell ads that
I've tried it's where you can go and you
can put banners on people's blogs and
websites I have found that and I don't
know maybe there's a trick to it maybe
somebody out there and they'll kind of
do it but I have found why I did that I
lose I just I cannot figure out how to
make it work okay it's just tough every
time I put an ad up you know I'll spend
$100 and put an ad up and I'll get
nothing from it and that's why I like
Facebook ads because they can just test
it like five dollars and it doesn't work
then I move on with buy sell ads I got
to prepay like a like a month banner
spot on a pet on a website and it
doesn't work I'm stuck I'm stuck with
that that banner I'm stuck with that you
know link and then I just didn't work
out okay another one is gonna be solo
ads now I a couple years ago so as would
have been good I don't think so as today
in this day and age are very good I
think they've been that people marketers
have just been abused their their lists
so bad that that you know and all these
marketers are teaching all this crap
where you just you know you buy solo ads
and then you just you hammer your list
with with offer after offer and and what
happens is so many people get hammered
with their their you know their emails
that get Dickey bombarded with all this
crap all these stupid you know marketing
offers and every day is it's about
you know you can make this you can make
that he made this she made this and he's
get hammered with it and they it just
just what are doing is snowballing these
people into frustration okay and then so
solo ads I feel has really I feel is
screwed up the whole email marketing
arena to you know not make it as quality
as it used to be okay so that's one
thing I keep in mind that this little
ads you know you can get instant traffic
and you can get instant people onto your
list but you know trying to recruit that
money you're trying to get that money
back is going to be tough and people
argue they can argue all day long about
it works for them but if you're just
hamming your list over and over again
with offers you're not going to be
you'll last long in this business okay
so that's really pay traffic that's how
you get into paid traffic and those are
going to be ones that work and ones that
